Just a fair warning there not accepting new patient.called yestarday to setup my kitten first time to this location.reception was taking my name and such then put me on hold for almost felt like 15 mins.later told there not accepting any new patient.if they had told me in the first place when I first called.and I clearly stated first time pet owner with a new kitten.should have been smart enough to know their policy and if they are accepting new patience.the two ladies are so unprofessional.first impression will always leave a mark.so badd

I've been bringing my cat here since I first got him over 9 years ago. He's always been treated with so much love and kindness. This animal clinic is part of our lives forever. As much as my fur baby is a complainer he is comfortable with Dr Ralph D'Souza, Brenna the Veterinary Assistant is always so lovely and her energy always puts us at ease too. Since the pandemic it has become a curb pick up service but as I said they make the whole process very easy and comfortable.

I have been coming here with my boxer dog for over 8 years. They provide wonderful and attentive care and always addresses any concerns I have. Dr. D'Souza and the whole team are fantastic and I'm so glad they have helped to take care of my dog all these years. I cannot recommend them enough.

I can't believe I haven't already written a review. Dr D'Souza and the whole team, I cannot say enough how amazing they are. I came to them years ago after so many vets had told me my cat would die without thousands of dollars worth of treatment. They were referred by a friend and all these years later I still have my little buddy Moe. They were able to help him and tell me what was needed and what wasn't! They truly are about what is best for the animals, and creating stress free Healthcare for them. I cannot say enough about how much Moe and I appreciate the whole team. (Even though he may not act like it when bloodwork is needed lol!) I trust them completely and recommend them to anyone I know that wants the best care and support for their fur babies. ️

Nice clean friendly and I have been told by many other pets owners about doctor Wilson care and love for each and individual pet (people are coming all the way from Markham and other places.

I am very satisfied with this clinic very friendly. They let you understand and, make sure your pet is taking care of and, you can see they care.

They have always be kind and respectful. Today we put our pup down. The love they showed for our girl was just above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Dr. D is great, but unless you talk to him the customer service is terrible. As our regular vet I expected more when calling for advise about our sick dog. Instead of anything helpful I was just told I either needed to wait a month or call another clinic. There was zero concern for our dog, the main focus seemed to be getting off the phone.

Calling around has gotten us significantly better results from veterinarians we've never seen before. Looks like this will be my last interaction with this clinic.

We have decided to leave Dr D after 8 years and wouldn’t recommend this vet. His wife who is also the receptionist is absolutely clueless and has no sympathy for your pet. We called them in in a panic and distress after waking up one morning and suddenly finding our dog was unable to use his back legs. Out dog could not walk! Their response was “we’re booked today, you should take him to the animal hospital”! They’ve been taking care of my dog since he was a puppy. Thank god my dog has recovered, unfortunately we still don’t know what caused this incident. Dr. D diagnosed him with a liver shunt years ago and we’ve had him on some meds since, however, the animal hospital tells us there’s no way je has a liver shunt cause he would have passed by now if he did. Wrong diagnosis? Who knows.what really bothered me more was when we called in the next day to get a refill for him and not once did his wife even ask how he was! Absolutely no compassion or sympathy from them at all. They will not be getting any business from me agian.

The doctor was so kind and calm with our dogs.very patient explaining and answering our questions. You can notice he actually like dogs ️

We called in for a special order of pet food and again called the day of the pickup confirm that it was ready and that we would be coming in. Once we arrived at 6: 15pm the person advised us that they were closed for the day and we had to come back another day. We politely asked if they can quickly process our order since their official closing time posted is 7pm, and they refused. The whole transaction would have probably taken 60 seconds, terrible customer service. There are better options in the area that I would recommend trying.

The receptionist needs some lessons in customer service, I would prefer to drive an hour to their old vet then deal with them.

As a dog walker for 15 years in the area, I’ve had a lot of dealings with vets in the area. I’ve been totally satisfied with how Dr D cares for pets and his knowledge and helpful suggestions are always appreciated.

The only issue I have is the hours and have shown up when the doors are closed before the posted time of 7pm.

Have been going to this vet for over 10+ years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are knowledge, honest and always able to fit me in!

Dr. D'Souza and his staff came highly recommended. They proved themselves over and beyond the call of duty.

Very kind caring, and skilled veterinarian. Helpful assistants. Clean place. Special supervisor "Smokey".

My dog died last year in the summer, but I still find myself telling people (with or without dogs) about Dr. D'Souza and the team at Ellesmere Animal Clinic. So, I figured I leave this review.

The team at EAC is genuinely caring. Their love for animals provided me with comfort and security; and so, I was always able to put my trust in them to take care of my dog.

This isn't to discredit any of the other vets I took my dog to, but Dr. D'Souza and the team's dedication and care for animals is unparalleled. You could tell that they work to enhance the lives of animals, rather than to make a profit off their health. I sincerely appreciated knowing that my dog wasn't being viewed or treated as a means for profit, but a living entity that deserved the best.

The EAC team prioritizes animals. And I highly respect them for that. Moreover, everyone is incredibly friendly and pleasant to engage with.

I strongly recommend all those looking for a caring team of animal lovers to take their pets to the EAC:)

You were kind to not just my dog, but also to me, and I am still grateful for that. Thank you, for having taken care of my dog and for the wise and sobering advice you provided with regards to their well-being. You are all amazing, and I hope that more animals have the privilege of being cared by your team.

Our family has around 7 animals under the care of Dr. D and his staff. Nothing but good things to say!

Unfortunately my first experience with the clinic was to euthanize my cat. The staff was very professional over the phone and quoted a reasonable price. The day of the procedure they were very nice and gave us a room to spend some time with Max before it started. The doctor was extremely professional and friendly and it was easy to tell how much he loves animals. Overall, under the circumstances, a very good experience.

We switched to the Ellesmere Animal Hospital based on a friends recommendation. Really enjoyed the service and attention from Dr. DeSousa and am so glad we now have a vet that cares so much for his patients. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. D'Souza and his staff. My brother and I have been taking our dogs to this clinic for 10 years. Dr. D'Souza sincerely cares about the well being of his animal patients and never pushes unecessary extra tests etc.that drive up costs as I have experienced at other vets, he clearly explains exactly what is needed and why. Here are some examples of the excellent care my doggies have received:

My 80lb American Staffordshire Terrier had several large skin growths removed over her long life (15 years), and was treated for an aural haematoma (bruising in the ear). Every procedure went smoothly and they were great at working with my large and sweet but sometimes wiggly dog.

My Boston Terrier sadly was born with a heart murmur that became heart failure at 5 years of age. I had to rush her to an emergency vet who told me that she would only live a few weeks. When she was released, I took her to Dr. D'Souza who came up with a supportive care plan for her. We got to love her for another year with good quality of life.

My current dog, a 3 year old French Bulldog has had excellent care there since she was a puppy. She was spayed at a very reasonable price and they took the time to carefully observe her coming out of the anaesthesia, which is so important for brachycephalic breeds with breathing difficulties. My dog still absolutely loves going to the clinic and getting treats at each check up!

If you need an appointment, call them as soon because they can book fast! I also enjoy hanging out with the rescue cats in the waiting room:)

Although the staff are friendly I will not return to this clinic. I brought in my dog to get shots updated and when I called I was given a price of $115 for the two particular shots she needed as well as general exam. I confirmed with the receptionist over the phone twice about pricing. Instead I was charged $169 and when I brought it to their attention there was no explanation given other than my dog did not need the rabies shot.

I brought my cat there the veterinarian was a wonderful man you're very helpful excellent staff and amazingly enough my cat was not traumatized when I brought him home considering it was his first appointment and this is the place I will continue to bring my cat

Great with my dog. She loves him. Staff is very friendly. And they genuinely care for the animals
