Elm Hurst Inn & Spa

We had a family dinner for Christmas with toddlers to grandparents. The food, environment, decorations and everything was just superb. The service, specifically Raj, made the evening so comfortable, warm and welcoming. We will certainly be back!

I do not usually write reviews but making an exception to give a big thank you to server Peter for making our evening out so enjoyable. The food was excellent (big portions of roast beef, tasty soup, nice desert), the receptionist was pleasant and the table good. Peter was very attentive, friendly and had a good sense of humour. We will be back. Happy New Year!

Such a gorgeous place! We are going to have our wedding here. We had food a twice already in the restaurant and it’s truly delicious and fancy.

The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. They make you feel like they have all the time in the world for you, literally you never feel rushed. It’s like talking to friends! Very kind happy people.

Views and property in general is absolutely gorgeous. Looks like a castle for events to me! Tons of outdoor and indoor space.

We recently gathered at the Elm Hurst Inn for a family dinner. Our small group was given a beautiful quiet room to dine in. Our server, Katie, was terrific, and she was very attentive.
The buffet & meals were enjoyed by all.

Visited Elm Hurst Inn on the weekend. First time there the experience was amazing and very relaxing. Myself and two friends went up.for the night
The Room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner Jacklyn was our server very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious Next morning we had a nice breakfast before we left. Overall excellent experience. I would highly recommend the Elmhurst Inn perfect little weekend getaway

We had an amazing wedding experience at the Elm Hurst Inn in May 2022 (better late than never). The grounds, food, service, and room accommodations were superb. We recommend using their table decorations, they are classic and elegant. We received many compliments from our guests. They made sure to provide excellent service rain or shine!

Visited for a friend's anniversary dinner but did not stay over because of exorbitant room costs. Chose to drive 2.5 hours each way there and back. No other local hotels were available along our route.
Meeting room was right size for party. Service staff very efficient and friendly at all times. Washroom- a single shared washroom for what appeared to be us and two other wedding receptions. Other washrooms were somewhat distant on a lower level.
Food was superb - I chose the prime rib. Other selections were salmon, Cornish hens (?), and a vegetarian option. Desert was a decadent chocolate cake, almost too sweet.
Have never stayed at Inn but have had dinner prior.

We ordered 2 burgers and 1 sandwich for lunch.
The quality of food was just OK - nothing special.
The bill was $80!
Minimum suggested tip was 18%.
The service was just OK.

I attend an annual 2-day conference at the Elm Hurst Inn & Spa. The accommodations are always beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff are helpful and friendly. If you haven't been, you definitely need to go!

Beautiful stay. Rooms are large and comfy. We were there for a wedding. Beautiful venue! Great food.
I would give a 5 star but we had room 310 and it had a king bed. The sheets to sleep on were not fitted and not king. They tucked the head part in but your feet were on the mattress protector and the sheets kept comming off and wrapping around your feet. Kinda a weird feeling entanglement.
Would stay again but will ensure sheets fit the bed next time!

Stayed for 5 days over Christmas. Room was nice, bed was worst experience in 317 which was not our regular room at our favorite Inn. Food was great, Christine is always friendly and remembers us each visit. Denise at Reservations always has a warm greeting and she is a real bonus to the Inn. Rooms are not cleaned during stay and no gym. Great location and quiet.

Elmhurst was truly a lovely experience. My boyfriend booked us a short getaway for New Year’s Eve.

They have several packages which is worth trying! Our savour package included: any guest room of our choice, three course dinner for two, and a complimentary breakfast.

The night we arrived, we indulged in a three course dinner prepared by chef Andrew Smith which was incredible. The butternut squash was the best I’ve ever tried so far. We made sure to let the chef know that it was better than the one we tried at a restaurant in Toronto during Christmas Eve because we were so impressed. The portions were also beyond generous! We would love to come here again for the jacuzzi bedroom because initially we wanted to get that room, but unfortunately it was fully booked.

Overall, the hotel was comfy and quiet. Staff was friendly and ensured covid-19 protocols making us feel safe. Food was on point.

My husband and I had dinner in their restaurant. The food was great and the portions were surprising. When I think fancy restaurant or food, I think high prices for little portions. Prices were appropriate for the type of restaurant - the portions were of normal size, not small like I was expecting. Overall great.

My wife booked us a night here as a little getaway before we have our fourth baby. Four under four!

I have no doubt that under the right circumstances this is a wonderful establishment but in our particular instance it wasn't brilliant. Our dinner was less than ideal as well as our breakfast. When we informed them of our unsatisfactory breakfast they corrected it by bringing new food right away. We should have informed them of the unsatisfactory nature of our dinner but we don't like to make a fuss but our prime roast was more than 50% unedible fat, our Yorkshire puddings were almost like baseballs but the Caesar salad was phenomenal and I'm not sure why but it was just really a good salad.

The people in the room next to us screamed and fought with each other until at least 3: 00 in the morning and they even took their shenanigans into the hallway. This isn't the Elm Hurst's fault but it did ruin the experience.

The room was nice enough and well furnished and I found the robes to be comfortable. Everything was clean and all in all the way one expects a hotel room to be. The staff was courteous and respectful but we did accidentally get charged for room service that we didn't use but we let it go as it was only $8

I loved my stay here, restaurant served great food and the spa had really nice services. I had a facial and was introduced to some new face products that I am now obsessed with. I would love to come back and try more of their spa services. Rooms are very comfortable and clean.

There were issues with the room. Breakfast food was underwhelming but the dinners were fantastic. Great experience at the spa.

I had such a refreshing birthday getaway @elmhurstinnandspa although it rained during my entire stay, I still made the best of it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the meals, especially the country breakfast. Btw, it is included in your stay. The service was excellent! The staff were super friendly. Before I checked out, I managed to explore the grounds. It was spacious and beautiful, there were fountains everywhere you turn and there was a walking trail that leads to a large pond with a cascading fountain in the middle. I also got to visit the spa. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to experience it. They were booked up solid. Nonetheless, the 2 days spent at the Inn felt more like a week.

Another fantastic Christmas dinner with friends! As always, the inn was wonderfully decked out for the season. We have a group of about 10 who have been dressing up and getting together for over 25 years to celebrate the holidays. Often times, we only see each other once or twice a year, so it is really nice to have our own dining room, eat a wonderful meal, and get caught up at a very reasonable price. Although we sometimes go to other places, we always come back to the Elm Hurst. After missing out last year, it was extra special. All of us ordered from the chef’s choice 3 course menu and all of the meals were terrific!

There for a conference, and was fed like a king! Always recommend heading there for a nice meal in the Ingersoll area.

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely stress free. They took care of everything! And the suite they put us in was Incredible! The food as usual was amazing. We go back here for brunch from time to time as well. The Elm hurst really has it all! Don't forget to check out the full spa as well!

Rooms are great, beds are good, wish our room had had a bathtub. The Inn is right on the freeway (you can only hear it if you're outside, thankfully), the restaurant is mediocre and definitely not with worth the price charged, and their cancellation policy (48 hrs notice) is awful (if you have to arrive late or leave early, you have to pay the full price for the room).

The attention to detail by the staff was exceptional. We attended as a company retreat so we're able to enjoy the grounds, the common areas, food experiences and the conference spaces. All met or exceeded our requirements. Keep up the good work and thank you for the effort in providing a covid safe escape! The Robbinex team will be back, I am sure!

Attended a wedding and it was just amazing, beautiful grounds. All staff friendly helpful.
Everything from appetizers, to dessert was delicious My Mrs had chicken. I prime rib & both done to perfection.

Was there for a wedding the weekend of August 28/29. The grounds are pretty. The white plastic chair's we're all stained. There was brid poop on the sides of the chair's. The reception was held in the James Harris room. It was so hot in there with 30-50 ppl, asked them to turn up the air they didn't. It was 75 in there. For what ppl pay to have a wedding there.thing's should look new no stains and have turned up the air conditioning. There was 1 waitress that really hates her job and is noticeable to the guests. Would NEVER pay to have a wedding here. The food was very well done. To bad the rest was not.

We have had many great dinners at Elm Hurst over the the years including family birthdays and work Christmas parties. Staff and waiters are top notch and the food is excellent!

First time at the spa. Great experience. The breakfast and dinner is also amazing! The rooms are nice with updated features but the toilets are slow when flushing.

The scenery alone is worth the stay.
Rooms are nicely done with modern comfort. Halls and main areas still contain furniture and decorations from when owned by the Harris family. Definitely recommend

Quiet and comfy hotel rooms. Great breakfast too. As a wedding venue, it is fantastic because they do everything! No detail is overlooked and the staff is very attentive and helpful. It's a beautiful spot, and we had a great time. Just a shame the 401 is so close.

Staff was great, room nice, when arrived had a chacuterie board & wine delivered to room, amazing, dinner both nights, prime rib so good, will be back and won't be soon enough.

Had our wedding there and was beautiful! The staff was all very friendly, accommodating and professional. Was everything we dreamed of.

I was supposed to get married at the Elmhurst but because of covid we had to cancel. The staff were so understanding and accommodating throughout the planning and cancelation process. We would have loved to get married there. We will definitely plan to be back at the Elmhurst in the future!
Exceptional customer service.

Our first time visiting the Elm Hurst Inn, and it was absolutely amazing. We went for our anniversary. Due to covid restrictions we had to sit on the patio, although walking through the building to the patio was breath taking. Emily our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic! Can't wait until we can have the full experience! Highly recommend.

We had a nice stay here for the price. The inn itself is a bit outdated but the staff was very friendly. The couples massage they offer was a very relaxing experience. We got the Romance package which was nice, but a tad pricey.
The ambiance in the restaurant was very nice and the staff was awesome. The soup and appetizers were delicious but the entrees, wine and dessert were just a bit bland. The grounds itself were nice for a little walk in the evening.

Not worth the price.took one of the best rooms only for the shower to overflow and flood.dryer was not working either.food at the restaurant was bland and watery. Asked for no pork in our charcuterie board and that's pretty much all we got.garbage stayed outside the room for a while.breakfast is pretty plain and also not very good.staff was very apologetic and friendly but that really doesn't help when nothing can be fixed.manager was able to discount the bill but overall the inn and stay was quite disappointing

This place is fantastic. The food was so good and staff was friendly. Huge shout out to Taz at front desk who was exceptional and made sure all was will. Super accommodating.

On Friday April 2,2021 we had our wedding at the Elm Hurst in Ingersoll. We have nothing but amazingly positive things to say for the venue. They were on top of everything. They emailed me the day an announcement was supposed to be made about a government lockdown to see if we wanted to move our wedding day (so we could get in before the lockdown). Within two hours, we switched our whole wedding day from April 3 to April 2. They went above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was incredible!

Amazing stay, room was beautiful, spa very relaxing and all the staff were beyond accommodating. Restaurant had excellent menu and very flexible to dietary restrictions which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely come back!

If anybody out there is trying to find good deals for hotels and resorts browse through ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ booked a resort on there and these guys had the lowest prices anywhere!

We got married here in 2016. They have lovely suites and an excellent restaurant and food. The brunch was the highlight of our wedding. The grounds are lovely. We love coming back to the Elm Hurst

WOW is all I can say about the experience I had at this gorgeous historical house that has been converted to a beautiful place to stay with exceptional food. Their menu is fantastic with a nice variety to choose from. I had the Atlantic salmon with gnocchi made with a cream sauce that was mouth watering. I would highly recommend this meal if you enjoy Salmon. Their wine menu is exceptional and they will recommend a pairing that goes well with your meal. Their staff is very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend the drive to Elmhurst to experience this gorgeous, historical and cozy Inn.
