Elmvale Acres Shopping Plaza is a cozy place to shop. It is not as busy as the more touristed shopping centers. Elmvale Acres Shopping Plaza serves mostly its surrounding community and has a friendly, laid-back feel.
The washrooms in mall building are not maintained and when I found the cleaner and told him of the disgusting conditions he just turned around and walked away from me.
Went HomeHardWare I know about the restrictions but thought it ridiculous to have to phone in the order instead of having the clerk go and get the purchase at the door.
This seems to be a poor selection of stores, akin to Blair Mall. Though this mall lacks any sense of updates or improvements. It's dirty, small, and uncomfortable.
Live within walking distance and been here many times. Often thought it was a little run down, but had a good look around last time I visited and it's not doing too badly. Everything you could want in a local mall and the Loblaws is clean and well run. A few of the restaurants here have struggled and there's been some turnover, but for general goods and services there's a decent selection, including a Home Hardware, large Dollarama, LCBO, Beer Store, library, Pizza Pizza, First Choice hairdresser, H&R Block, BMO, pet store, laundromat and others. Come to think of it. It ain't half bad!
Please Put Hours Wright On Here, It's Not Alwayss 10pm. Today Good Friday, Long Weekend. Hours Should Of Showed. It Could Help Alot's So People Don't Go For Nothing.
Its changing from interior store mall to open concept was a surprise. My father Jerry who Ran and owned the Rexall pharmacy & yours Truly card store for 50+ years. Always feel that he's standing behind the counter waiting to serve the next person
This mall needs a complete make over, inside and out. The stores inside are amazing and offers lots of diversity, but the mall looks un-attracted and unwelcoming. Probably one of the oldest mall in Ottawa
The clothing store called The Stop. Has beautiful woman's clothing at reasonable prices. Owned by a lovely woman. The store features Canadian products. Hand bag's, hats, scarves and more. Always lots of items on sale.
Very old school. You want to leave as soon as your shopping it's fine. Also driving to getting inside the parking lot is a nightmare. I'd avoid it to any cost
Has a Home Hardware, LCBO, Beer store, Starbucks. Ticks a lot of boxes. Time will tell as to how a new 12 story condo and other changes will impact the site.
Been there for 3 years loved the place and the device in Wich every store is perfectly clean and good service also I mention this due to my relationship with girl special one from that area
Not a bad strip mall that’s a bit stuck in the old era. There are certainly some great stores like Rexall, Loblaws, Dollarama etc but the inside is a little sketchy, outdated. It’s eerily empty with an old coin operated kiddie ride that I doubt even works. Witnessed some strange incidents inside too, not sure if it’s entirely safe there either so I normally avoid going inside. Currently, there is some crazy construction going on too so it’s a mess. Other than that, it’s not a bad plaza.
Most disappointing mall in Ottawa ever! Went two years ago and was disappointed of what it has/had to offer. Good for the locals that have amenities close by. Not much of an indoor mall. Tear it down its a dump!
For me the worst Pharmacy for sending stuff out. I have stormed out twice this year along and vow to never return. If you are in a hurry to send a package DO NOT go here. Around 5pm, even with a mounting line, I could not believe that one of the blond haired employees just left with only 10-15 minutes before mail pickup on a Thursday-Friday too. Infuriating. THAT is when help is NEEDED the most.
The DEALS here in this Pharmacy are like everyday prices in other ones. You will never get a box of cookies for 1.99$ or less. Such clearances do not exist here as in many Shoppers Drug Marts.
I hope they close down and Shoppers/Loblaws takes over.
It serves its purpose with a Loblaws, LCBO, Drug store, RBC, home hardware and some others along with a StarBucks and some food choices but always felt it could have been much better as it’s a weird mix of indoor and outdoor mall
The garden centre has a large variety of flowers. You will pay approximately 1/3 more than anywhere else. However, since the baskets are fuller, I really didn't mind paying a little extra for them. To add, I could not find yellow hanging baskets anywhere else, so the drive from the west end of town was well worth the effort. Also, the young man was helpful and provided great service today.
Lots of stores in this mall and around - some are: Rexall, Beer store, grocery store, Royal Bank, Home Hardware, Dry Cleaners, Tailor Shop etc.changes from time to time. Plenty of parking.
