Each RMT I get every time I come here is always great, staff are super helpful and the facilities are top notch

The spa is great, clean facility, reception was great, but there was someone that worked there kept on saying we are closing at 8 when finished our service at 7: 54
We were rushed out, couldn't shower or get ready for our eavning.

I received a gift certificate from my daughter because my cousin got one and she wanted us to experience it together.
It was an absolute relaxing, beautiful experience. Staff were so professional and very kind and informative.
I especially enjoyed my conversation with Brooklyn at the bar, as my cousin was receiving a facial. I wasn't, so I decided to check out the bar. Such a beautiful girl, that made suggestions and she was dead on with her suggestions. Lunch was 10/10. Thx Brooklyn.trifle was lovely.
Jack, the massage was epic it had me nodding off. 10/10.

A beautiful, comfortable, relaxing establishment.
Good job Elmwood. I'll be back. A must try experience.

Had a wonderful half a day visit with my partner. Luba is an amazing massage therapist. Highly recommended. Staff are friendly and attentive. Service is all around great. Facility is clean. They have thought of every little detail here and there. Will definitely go back.

It is a bit over whelming walking into this spa, there is a very busy energy which is not so calming until you get to the change room which is amazing. The other guests who are loud and many political chats are the last thing I want to hear when trying to unwind but alas, my treatment was lovely, the staff were very professional and I felt very relaxed after. The quiet areas need to be enforced, and guests need to be more mindful of others. Remember why we are there and have business meetings at other locations, like an office.

I visited Elmwood Spa for the first time with a gift certificate. The service was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my lunch and services. I got there early to take advantage of the steam room and pool. I actually ended up spending 6 1/2 hours there but enjoyed every minute of it. All in all a great experience and would go back. It would be nice to give the spa a face lift though!

The Elmwood was amazing. The staff were helpful and the swedish massage was incredible. I loved the water trwqtreat. I would definitely recommend this spa.
15 February 2019 2:11
Worst customer service experience, massage started 10 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early (talk about rip-off) you pay hundreds of dollars for a spa getaway and end up in a messy garage looking room, no couples jacuzzi and fireplace as we booked. Pool area smelled bad, people too loud and noisy. Absolute worst experience. Don't recommend it. You are better of not going at all.

Beautiful spa, great lunch, professional staff. Our massage and facial was wonderful. Only thing I wasn't impressed with was the water therapy. That area of the spa definitely needs a face lift. The hot tub in the women's change room was beautiful but my husband was disappointed there wasn't one of those in the men's change room. Overall I am happy and would definitely go back!
10 February 2019 5:58
Hands down the best spa in Toronto! The hot tub in the women’s change room is serene, and the salt water pool is perfect temperature. The atmosphere throughout is blissful and provides a high-end experience. Excellent massages and facials. No detail is overlooked! Worth the money

Great RMT massage.

Warm up and breathe better after the steam room within the womans change room.

Clean rooms and change areas

Free tea or fruit infused water available everywhere.

Lunch was amazing. Short Ribs were an excellent choice.

This is my favourite place to go in the city core to unwind.

Beautiful spa. The men's change room has plenty of lockers, robes, slippers, towels as well as a steam room is shower. The deep tissue massage from a RMT is very good. Insurance receipts available. The staff is very friendly and professional. Water therapy is a pool, whirlpool and a steam sauna.

I mean to rate it 3.5. I visited the elm wood spa location this week for the first time. Right off the bat you get a very "ouu fancy" feel with having people walk around in robes and staff catering to you. The womens changing room has a whirlpool which is nice but it just seems so congested. Hard to enjoy yourself in the pool when there are people walking around, changing, towels everywhere and the whirlpool didn't have any drain cover so that was scary. Also only 6 people can be in the whirlpool at the same time due to its size. I had a birthday lunch and the menu is limited so there was only one vegetarian meal under each category. The parmesan cauliflower is amazing but the mushroom risotto wasn't that great. As it was my birthday the lunch was free except you have to pay the tax and gratuity. I had a massage booked as well and her skills were amazing. However, she picked me up late but that didn't reflect on my massage time so that sucked. Overall it was good experience but wish there was a women's only area rather than just the changing room, and for the whirlpool to get an upgrade. It was nice but doubt I would be visiting again.

The Elmwood Refresher Spa package: - Competitive price - Well-mannered staff - Clean and well-maintained area - Worth every minute
Favourite parts: Water Therapies (e.g. Whirlpool) and foot massage from the Swedish Body Massage
Special Note: I plan to return back for a full facial experience and possibly a hot stone massage. Thank you Elmwood Spa for my first luxiourious spa experience.

I have been to Elmwood Spa multiple times and have been consistently disappointed. So finally I am going to write a review to try and encourage people from not wasting their money there. I went there this past Saturday Dec 15th. It was a birthday gift of a spa day that included lunch, water therapies, mani and pedi.

Food was sub par, which was very disappointing as this was the first time I ate there. Mani and pedi were rushed. My pedicurist went to get the colour I wanted and showed up 10 mins later smelling of smoke. I figured since she was 10 mins late in starting she was going to spend an extra 10 mins but she didn't. The lady doing my friend's padicure was angry and unpleasant and kept kicking things. We found it extremely hard to relax with someone so stressed out and unhappy. My manicure pealed off yesterday. It didn't even last 3 days, it literally pealed off like a sticker.

They are over booked and rush you through everything, it is like an assembly line. Very poor service. Will not go back. I've been here enough to learn that they are not going to improve.

Used to love this place.now not so much. I was treated very poorly, and on my birthday no less. I have been to this spa multiple times and even brought multiple family members and friends there.regardless of that, I expected more from the managers at this spa. I contacted them about my experience and my calls went unanswered. It’s a shame that this is how they treat repeat guests. It’s even more upsetting because I’ve been needing Joon to work him magic on me: (Oh well. Guess I’ll find another spa to give my money to.

From the initial contact over the phone with Carol to the final touch with Christian the massage therapist what a way the exceed my expectations. They both have the wow factor and I couldn't ask for more at Elmwood spa. I will be referring my friends and definitely will be back. Best spa always at Elmwood spa.

2 issues with this location:

- Not all staff are trained the same. The woman who did my manicure with shellac did not do it correctly, as was pointed out by the nail tech that was sitting beside her. This was also proven 2 days later when my shellac started to peel off (which should last about 2 weeks minimum)

- I had accidentally left my credit card at the front desk after paying. I didn't realize until the next day when I was already in the US. I immediately called the direct line (incurring roaming charges), which re-routed me to an off-site booking location. I asked to be transferred to the front desk but apparently that is not possible as the front desk does not pick up the phone. She transferred me to the "duty manager" line where I left a voicemail. I did this 3 separate times over the next 48 hours. Finally, I demanded that I speak with someone on the phone, no more voicemails. A duty manager answered and let me know she had my credit card - I drove down there immediately. When I asked why no one returned my calls or bothered to call to tell me they indeed had my credit card, I received a blank stare. I then showed her my nails to show how the shellac was peeling already to then receive an offer of a $25 credit (which literally wouldn't cover ANYTHING at this spa). I told her that wasn't good enough, I wanted an explanation and to speak to someone else. She gave me the card of her manager - Vinay Singh - who she said would be in the next day and promised would call me as she was going to email him about the incidents right away. I said if he doesn't call me I will take further steps to get this rectified in a more public manner. I shouldn't have to continue to follow up to get this resolved.

It is clear they do not care about ensuring that their paying customers are satisfied.

Nestled in the heart of hustling and bustling downtown of Toronto is a place for you to rejuvenate. If you like massages, steam rooms, hot tubs and 3 course meals, this place is for you. From start to finish the experience was organized, professional, efficient and relaxing. You check in at the desk area and yes you do have to sign a waiver, that is normal these days, but you also get an agenda/schedule on a printed sheet of paper to help guide you to your upcoming activities of relaxation. Take the elevator up and go to your gender's change room. Once changed into your swim trunks and robe you either go get your massage or go hang out in the water therapy area. What is in the water therapy area? Hot tub, cool down pool and a steam room. There are places to sit and read or write.
***The one issue that I think the Elmwood Spa leadership should address is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for smartphones and other tech that may do the following: Take digital photos or videos, play media (videos and music) and last but certainly not least; make or receive calls. There are some signs around the water therapy area mentioning this but on our visit this was not enforced by staff or adhered to by select patrons. ***
The spa is a multilevel place for your relaxation. You work, then relax hard. Definitely recommend coming by Elwood Spa. Highly recommend calling and booking ahead of time because this place is busy. Inquire on the packages that you can take advantage of at different points in the year. Great experience thank you for making my spa day so great Elmwood team!

My boyfriend and I went to Elmwood for their Exotic Escape package. Firstly we ordered wine and they took extremely long to bring it to us in the water therapy area (had to remind them multiple times). Then we got to our couples massage which got changed to another floor last minute, causing us to be about 5 minutes late. Because we were late they actually cut our 50 minute massage down by a total of at least 10 minutes. They were extremely rude at the end telling us to hurry up and get changed into our robes because they have back-to-back massages scheduled. I found this extremely unprofessional and I was appalled that they did not actually massage us for the full 50 minutes. Lastly, we went to the Bangkok Garden restaurant for dinner, which had excellent service, we loved our waitress. However, the food was repulsive. DO NOT go to that restaurant. The quality of the food was horrible. I don't know how someone messes up pad thai. Anyways overall, our experience was pretty bad and especially for the cost, I'm pretty disappointed. Hopefully this review can give Elmwood a little wakeup call and deter some people from wasting their money.

I bought an e-gift card online recently, fully paid, and was supposed to receive it through my email. It's been almost a week since, and I haven't received it. I spoke with my bank, the money was definitely taken out by them and they're saying they haven't received it. So, I had a discussion with several of their customer service reps investigating the issue and they came back with no definitive answer other than they're claiming "they didn't receive payment or my card was declined" when clearly money was taken out by them. Still, nothing has been resolved yet. I am not satisfied with this level of service I have had so far.

I had a fantastic massage with Fred! This was my second visit to Elmwood spa and I love it. The steam room and hot tub are perfect temperatures. The robes are great and the staff is attentive.

We had a mother and daughters day Sunday! The place was beautiful and very professional. I can't tell you how wonderful the towels and the bathrobes felt. The message exceptional. My favorite part were the use of the products in the showers. There's were some loud ladies in the "shhh room" and they were reminded to keep the talking to a whisper.lol. I will definitively come again. Next will be the aromatherapy message.

Honestly this was disappointing for what I was expecting. You have to take elevators to go to different floors and I felt the staff was a bit too friendly and maybe a bit too pushy asking me when my sessions start and kept asking to look at my itinerary as if I am lying or maybe an idiot. I had a massage and a quick facial. The massage was good but because I had a male RMT he kept asking if I was comfortable. He asked so many times I was starting to question if I shouldn’t be feeling comfortable. The facial was a total joke, I basically got treated like I am taking horrible care of my skin and when I asked what I should do I got really vague answers and that I should have booked a longer facial. The front desk gave me a discount but honestly they should have given me the facial for free, she sat there pretty much doing nothing. I could easily give myself a face mask which is all she did.

Feedback- if I know I have a male RMT I already know what I’m getting myself into. Male RMTs shouldn’t constantly ask if im comfortable for the entire hour.
Also, even if I book a quick facial there needs to be a level of professionalism that was lacking.

I won’t book here again.

I love coming to Elmwood Spa. It really feels like an oasis in the city, it's so quiet and everyone is really helpful and friendly. I've come several times now, and Alba is the best RMT hands down - she was better than I was at identifying what parts of my body needed the most help. I could feel the circulation in my body improve from just one visit. I definitely recommend visiting here. Make a day of it. Enjoy a massage, and head out in the heart of Toronto to hit up the sights. I'll be back in November for sure.

Yesterday was my first experience at this spa. It was a birthday surprise. The massage was lovely, however the manicure was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend the manicure, especially if you are expecting a French manicure.

The manicure after a few attempts at French was nothing special and still looked sloppy. I ended up with a solid color - that the couldn’t match to my toes (dark red). My only options were a brown and a very dark purple. The color selection was not to my preference (too pale and too bold with nothing in between).

The staff was rushed to get out (~6pm). When I was told to sit and have my manicure dry for half an hour I asked if there was a clock nearby. They looked shocked that I didn’t have my cell phone on me to keep track. While waiting I noticed that the nail polish was not cleaned up around my nails and there was significant amounts of white (from the attempted French) under my tips.

By the time I finished drying I was alone in the nail/ hair area.

My Favourite Spa! I've been going there for years and years and I still love it! It's relaxing, and always clean. The staff are friendly and I buy all my face skin products there. Lidia is amazing and my skin thanks her every 4-6 weeks.
