Elora Gorge Lookout

Beautiful places to visit! October is great season and lots of food, goods, good people, nice views, water. ‍️ walking there is fun!

Absolutely stunning. When you visit, please enjoy the incredible nature. When you leave, take your mask with you.

The lookout allows you to see two sides of the Elora Gorge with interesting and unique views on either side. Look to the right and the river and gorge area is beautifully situated and punctuate by the attractive bridge. Look to the left and you can see the pool below the waterfall and hear the waterfall. This is a quieter spot than the town area lookout bridge or the gorge itself, but also a smaller space so you may have to wait for space.

Very scenic, steps down are not the safest and some handrail are missing but the scenery takes ur breath away. Good hike ensure you have running shoes.

This is one of my favorite family friendly hiking spot. I usually like to go once or twice a year. After our hike we head into the beautiful town for coffee and a bite to eat.

Beautiful little spot, but it gets very busy, so plan accordingly. You can go quite aways up and down if you walk on the rocks. You have to go down a big set of stone stairs to gain access but its too bad at all

Nice place to visit daytrip or camping, tubing is amazing experience, it's took more than 2 hrs, but different experience in natural river

Amazing nature place to go for a little walk around and if you are feeling a little more adventurous, take the steps down towards the river bank. Highly recommend - already planning to go back next year to try the 'Tubing' out down the river.

A very beautiful lookout in a beautiful town! The stairs going down to the gorge are a little unsafe, be careful going down, I wish there was a little bridge to get across to the caves, still very beautiful and not super busy

Very beautiful scenery from the bottom of the stairs. Can be hard for some to get down all the way but the views make it worthwhile.

Great place to go and sit beside the water. The location is 1 hour drive from Brampton. I would suggest to avoid highways. It won’t make much of difference. The roads and views are amazing when you travel through some old towns. Note on parking, there isn’t much place to park.

Great place to explore down into the Gorge to get your feet wet and cool off! Beautiful town to visit as well! We drove in from Hamilton and it’s a great drive on a sunny weekend! Be sure to find this Lookout just off the downtown core.

Looks a bit under construction but it's gorge-ous (haha) on a sunny day. Bring a picnic and go to the park too!

Cool place. Easy parking for a small group. Not recommended for a crowd. EV stations are convenience and nearby, three in total but one seems to be out of order and the other out of reach due to covid-19 restrictions. The last one is on public parking which is free and charging your vehicle is also free.

Grew up walking and exploring the trails at the Elora Gorge Lookout. Great place to spend the afternoon. Never gets old.

Good well managed place, small park, nice view points. Stairs for access to the stream below - 60 stairs and a little bit of walk over rocks

Ice climbing here is great! Hit up One Axe Pursuits during the winter for sick climbing adventures!

Love checking out all the local shops and enjoying the scenery as we go for a hike. Great place to visit for a day. Lots to check out, friendly and beautiful area.

A nice part of the Elora gorge. Bottom part is locked off from the public during the colder seasons, but its easy to get around that. Beware, stone steps are icy, rocks are falling off the sides of the gorge. Probably better to wait for the chain to be lifted from the staircase and area to be open to the public. Look forward to future visits.

Very nice place to visit even in winter. We went there Dec 26th and it looks like a heaven. I can't imagine how it will look like in summer ️

Elora Park is wonderful. We went in the winter and it was very quiet and serene. Great place to walk through woods and admire the Gorge.

Absolutely stunning place to visit in the summer, love going tubing and hiking here! Cute little shops in the dt core and of course because it's a tourist town they over charge on a lot of products, but the nature around their is what ya go for

Spectacular view of the river and the village! One of the best sites in the region to get a glimpse of the area's unique architecture and beautiful natural vistas. Much better during the fall months due to the striking foliage!

This is one of my all time favorite spots to photograph. Beautiful location no matter the weather. It's a steep climb down, so be sure you are ready to be breathless coming back up. The water is shallow enough that you can paddle around in the summer, and if you are adventuresome, there is lots to do in the nearby area as well - zip lining, tubing, or just wandering the shops in Elora.

Amazingly beautiful. Of course it's not the only beautiful place on God's green Earth, but it's quite a sight, especially in the fall with the vibrant colors.
Lower area is also open and accessable

Beautiful spot to view and experience the Elora gorge. Not a bad idea to bring water shoes as it’s slippery once you’re in the river.

I try to come here at least once a year. Such a nice location and the town of Elora is very nice indeed.

Nice spot to get a quick picture. A little dangerous because the path isn't that wide and we had to make room for cyclists going by as well.

A stunning look out at the junction of two Rivers. Groves of black walnut and black cherry on the bank and ancient wizened cedar clinging to the cliff beside the steps down to the river.

Wow, wow, WOW! What a scenic beauty! There's parking at Victoria Park or side streets. Nice shady trails. Stay at the top or go to the bottom.

Gorgeous, beautiful hiking trails, tons of clean well kept space for everyone to enjoy all kinds of activities like tubing, zip lining, we even saw someone tight rope walking across the gorge. It was our first time at the bottom and it was picture perfect.

Love this place to walk the dogs. Quite during the weekdays, Good luck on nice days on the weekend. Good way to kill a few hours looking for cray fish or watching minnows. Went here lots and lots as a kid.

Ellora, beautiful town to visit to refresh an rejuvenate yourself. This small town offers you everything, from casino to racing tracks to beautiful gorge to scenic roads, peaceful valley.a MUST visit place for everyone.

This is a wonderful little spot to stop on a warm summers day. There are a fair amount of stairs to walk down in order to reach the bottom of the gorge, but it is well worth it once you reach the bottom. There are trails that go on for quite some time, some graffiti near the bridge, and plenty of spots for a picnic.

A great place to spend some time to unwind. The stairs to get down and up from this location make it unavailable to any one with mobility issues or major breathing problems. Well Worth the effort to escape the madness of the daily mad race

Beautiful place with spectacular view. The town of Elora has lots to offer and unique lily shops.
