The Elora Mill is a beautiful part of our local history. They have restored and renovated the various buildings to bring back the historical context with a modern twist that is so elegant and refined. We stayed at the Elora Mill 16 years ago after our wedding. It was amazing then but was even better when we attended a gorgeous wedding there this weekend. Great food (local farm to table), great accommodations, great amenities. Treat yourself!

As an experienced wedding officiant, I was not impressed with the Elora Mill whatsoever. The service at the rehearsal dinner was slow, which cut into our (very minimal) 1 hour rehearsal time. The staff further reduced our rehearsal time by having a sit down with the couple to ask questions they didn't need the answers to in that moment, and which could have given to them in a print out I already had. This left us with a total of 30 minutes to rehearse which wasn't enough.
On the day of the wedding, the staff had a good, helpful attitude, but there were "too many cooks in the kitchen" which led to chaos. The food at the reception was 3/5, but at this price point, needs to be 4.5/5+.
Service was friendly throughout, but it really felt like a "wedding mill, " push people in and out as fast as possible. It felt chaotic and rushed. Signage was lacking for such a huge complex with so many buildings. This led to confusion too.
If a couple asked me in the future, I would not recommend this location for a wedding.

Beautiful setting for a wedding we were at in February, with lots of outdoor space to set up pictures.

The Granary and its rooftop terrace make for a great place for any special occasion. The former grain store has been converted into two rooms – The Grand & The Irvine. I attended a wedding down stairs and the wood beams and bright light coming in through the windows was great. Lots of parking and great views. A pedestrian bridge over the grand river is right there.

We were on a quick roadtrip and came across the Elora Mill Foundry. A wedding ceremony in the outside garden area had just finished and people were now going to the reception at the Foundry.
I took a few pictures of the celebration area and the buildings. It was just so lovely.
I thought this would be a beautiful place to renew our wedding vows in October. I just had to share it.

Love the way they kept the old character in the place. We had a beautiful wedding. Well done
