The fact that the quary has fixed time slots that you must come and go and they close from 2 to 3pm is ridiculous. If you want to go for the afternoon you have to pay twice!

Elora is a beautiful place for a day trip, the town is very old school, and picturesque. It has a mill, gift shops, restaurants and an ice cream shop. There are also parks and walking trails that are amazing, with a river and waterfalls!

Came here during our time camping at Elora Gorge. The quarry area was very interesting, and the water seemingly clean. Enjoyed being able to jump off into the water from the ledges on the far side.

Car parking is right, but fine.

Toilets were disgusting, but it is what it is. I think they should add more portable facilities until they can renovate the toilet block.

Was there when two conservation officers decided to remove a service dog from the park. How rude and disrespectful do you need to be to kick a service dog out of a park!

Wanted to visit for a few years and was very disappointed to be honest. It was $47 for parking and a family of 4. You have to book online which is fine and saves time. You get a 4 hour time slot, either 10am-2pm or 3pm-7pm. It looks pretty but the water is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting! I almost decided to pee myself instead of using the bathroom facilities. It’s a super tiny beach area, full of rocks and hurts your feet. Definitely not worth the money! Enjoy the pics online and go spend your day somewhere else. We only stayed for an hour and left. Overrated!

Wake up people and do not support the movement of the government and these conservations forcing our community to digital currency! Everyone should always have the option to pay cash at the booth! Not everyone uses online banking, this is not inclusive. More people should be outraged.: (Locals have been pushed out of the community recreational spaces being catered entirely to tourists now. Shameful.

Small conservation gorge area with clear waters. I had fun with my friend. However I felt the price for entry was too much, paid $36 in total for parking and two adults ticket which I purchased online as they don't give out tickets at the counter. Parking alone was $15. There is parking inside the area for which they will guide you. We took the 3-7pm slot so you can line up your vehicle on the side of the road right before the entry to the Conservation Gorge. Don't park at Rona or they'll toll your car away! Overall wouldn't go again, but it was good for a one time visit!:)

Neat place to go for a swim. Much easier to visit now that you can only book tickets online and entrance numbers are limited.

The water gets nice and warm by afternoon. It is also quite deep in the middle so floatation devices or life jackets would be a good idea for non-confident swimmers. The shallow area (inside the buoys) is only a very small section of the quarry area. The water seemed to be reasonably clean/clear.

The beach area is small and gets crowded. There are also grassy areas a bit farther off near the tree line that might be a bit more peaceful. There are a couple of short hikes to nice overlooks of the quarry and a nice (small) picnic area next to the Grand River.

It's a great place to swim and chill!

However, the cost of it is too much if you're just trying to check it out or to spend a little bit of time.

$15 parking, and ~$10 entry fees for adults is far too much for what you get - which is a mini beach and a spot to park near it.

It's a hit or miss. If you're there to swim, good. If you just want to check it out, eh. Maybe?

They should take care of the beach restrooms if they charge a fee, disgusting! It was truly embarrassing to take tourists and find this!

Looks like would be a great place to spend a day. Was rainy the day we visited so didn't stay. Definitely will be back. Get there early as I've heard it can be crazy busy on sunny days.

I think it's just criminal that we have to pay to enjoy things that nature has given us.that being said the prices are also criminal

Super expensive for 4 hours. 2 people plus a car will cost you $36 it gets better they have a morning and afternoon session, so you have to plan accordingly. And it gets even better the bathrooms, even though it costs a lot to get in, are super disgusting you are better off going into the woods.
The place is very pretty, but definitely not worth the money as the fees and schedule will ruin your experience.

More like Glamping. This conservation area is great for beginners at camping. They have all you need. Both toilets are available, with running water or just the toilet without water. You can experience camping in a glamping way. Great to come with friends and family. Sites are usually very small and have lots of mosquitoes. River was beautiful and close to the campsites. We will come back to experience tubing and other activities. This is perfect for people that don't like camping. This will be a hotel without the building if that makes sense.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here with the kids. Due to the reservation system it's never really that busy. Lots of rules and security guards to keep people "safe". Cliff jumping was awesome. Everyone there was just having a good time and happy.

The place is lovely but don't bother bringing your swimming goggles. You can barely see your hand in front of you underwater. Very murky water but cool place and caves.

I've been anticipating this visit for years, and I must say it was a bit anticlimactic. It is beautiful (especially in pictures), but It was packed and a bit claustrophobic. I've seen it on many "Must Visit, " list, but personally, I feel like it's a trip you can do without.

I just flowing water.

It also mentioned hiking on their website but if you are an avid hiker, you might be a bit disappointed at the very short trail. You have the option of a short drive to find other trails, but that would mean paying for the quarry and leaving for a hike else where.

Stunning view; it feels so good swimming in this quarry; needed to book your spot online in advanced

This was a nice place to swim with the kids. It is really quite beautiful and the water is clean to swim in. For the cost, I would expect to have more space and better bathrooms nearby as it is roughly $45 to park and swim for half a day for a family of for with no amenities.
