I just wrapped up 3 months of physiotherapy at Elysian Wellness with Mike McCreight. Mike helped me recover from two separate sports injuries. Mike's professionalism, knowledge, and was thorough in his treatment plan, Mike will be my go to for any injury related needs moving forward.

Terrible, my wife had to cancel her appointment because our entire household is sick and one of my daughter's has pink eye. Despite calling just shy of 24 hrs they are charging her the entire appointment anyway. Absolutely insane, they said just come in anyway. REALLY? ! WITH SICK KIDS AND PINK EYE!

Fantastic services here! I have been coming to this location for massages for several years and have nothing but positive feedback. Always friendly, knowledgeable and on time! A big shoutout to Erica, she is one of the best Massage Therapists I have had the opportunity to receive care and attention for some really bad pain/injury relief, she is amazing!

My husband and I started seeing Sara 7 months ago to address and manage a complex health risk. The hope that we struggled to find in conventional medicine was provided by Sara who put us on a path to optimize overall health, reduce the effects of illness and treatment, and to mitigate the risk of recurrence. We highly recommend Sara and this clinic for health and wellness coaching that goes well beyond weight loss which she also helped us with. And she let our other family members attend sessions so that our adult children can understand and support our plan. We are ever grateful that we found Sara and this clinic whose staff have also been wonderful.

First time visit for a massage and my RMT did a fantastic job. Listened to exactly what I was looking for and checked to make sure the pressure was good throughout. Facility was clean and the staff was friendly and I love that I can book online. I’ll be back!

I went for deep tissue massages, my therapist was Mason. He is very knowledgeable and a great listener … he understands pain. He provided great relief which allowed me to go on with my daily activities.

So impressed by this place, really a shining example of local business and how it should be run. I’ve tried several services with them, including the nutritionist and have always been impressed. The physiotherapy is what I come back for often as I’ve tried so many different places and have never stuck to one until I tried this place. Scheduling is a breeze, cancelling is reasonable, service is super friendly and the staff know their stuff. I actually drive far and past several other places just to go this Elysian because I appreciate the service that much. In a sea of mediocre mismanaged businesses, this place is a star.

It was my first time here and the staff is very friendly, right from Hajara who picked up the phone and was very kind and patient with me, to Janet the reception and then Dr Caner, did an amazing job. I left feeling much better than I came in. Definitely recommend this place.

It was amazing experience with Brooke for massage treatment. She addressed the correct pain points and helped me relieve the stress and muscle fatigue. I enjoyed the session and looking forward to the next one with her! Also, the clinic was neat and hygienic and the staff was friendly.

The therapy sessions are top-notch with Shawn Willis. He is very skilled and professional and provides exercises to do outside of appointments. He focuses on the areas that need attention and triggers key areas. I have been coming here for years and highly recommend Elysian Wellness Centre.

Appalling service. Tried to cancel appointment due to 96 hours Ottawa Storm emergency and they refused to cancel the appointment and charged the credit card. I explained that I have 10 months old baby that I have to take care of first before I can make it to my appointment. The owner Mo was not understanding at all and said do whatever you want and we will charge your credit card.

Been going to Elysian for several years now and couldn’t recommend this place more! I’ve seen a few of the therapists there and all of them have been top notch. All of the staff have been super friendly and welcoming as well. I would never go anywhere else for my services.

Booked an appointment to get a massage with Morgan and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly I will absolutely be back!

I had severe sciatic pain. I am glad that I chose Elysian. Johanne is my physiotherapist. In my first session, she checked and analyzed the pain points. According to that, she suggested me exercises and day to day postures. This toned down my sciatica to almost gone. It’s been 6-7 30 minutes sessions with her till now. During my sessions I take ultrasound therapy. She also gives acupuncture. But I didn’t quite like how it feels with all the needles. But I suggest Johanne because she treats with so much care.

Elysian Wellness Center is a very clean and welcoming environment. I highly recommend John W. His calming demeanour allows you to relax as he begins treating injuries. I was new to massage therapy and John was able to assist me with upper back pain. His extensive knowledge of the human body allowed him to pinpoint issues and begin repairing them. Since beginning treatment I’ve noticed significant improvements in my mobility. Thank you!

I highly recommend Elysian Wellness Centre- in particular John Willette (RMT). I’ve been seeing John for many years now for deep tissue massages, which have done wonders for my back and muscle pain.

Best. Wellness Centre. Ever.
The place is always very clean, very peaceful. The owner and the staff are exceptionally friendly and strive to have a good connection with their customers in order to make your therapeutic sessions much easier and better. This place has some of the most qualified, highly skilled therapists and they will make a great difference in just a few sessions. They are very sophisticated and you can tell they care a great deal about their customers as well as their staff. They can be very forgiving if you are running a bit late, but in terms of late cancellations and rescheduling, they prioritize the time and effort their therapists dedicate. They do have a strict cancellation/rescheduling policy, so make sure you are settled and prompt on the date and time of your appointment because the staff have lives and priorities, too!

Will never go to another wellness centre other than Elysian. I highly recommend!

I started going to Elysian over a year ago for my sciatic nerve issues. Lauren Osterhout is amazing and is now my go to every time it flares up. I highly recommend Lauren and will continue to make her my massage therapist for years to come.

Thieves! I called on a Monday, to cancel a Wednesday appointment, 2 days ahead of my they are charging us because we are 4 hour less of 48hours in the cancellation policy. Totally unprofessional! Total lack of respect for the changes that are out of our control.

If you have been in a car accident, this place is the place to go.they helped me with all ym paperwork and throughout the entire process. All the therapists work together to get you back on track.they have all the products you need for your rehab, if not, they order it for you. Moe was a pleasure to work with and always went out of his way to help me deal with my insurance or/and solve other issues. I am glad i found this place, its a gem.

P. S. I read some of the recent negative reviews here, and DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. Due to my MVA, I attend here consistently (2 times a week), and I see first hand what they have to deal with. They deal with a lot of difficult people lately due to the pandemic, people yelling at them for policies that are clearly stated and they agreed to (like the cancellation policy), people getting mad at them for not having appointments available last minute. I even saw a man who's insurance did cover his treatment, refuse to pay, and attempt to leave without paying, and pushed passed the receptionist.i have honestly seen the receptionists deal with a lot, and i feel for them. People should really be more nice, especially that everyone at elysian is nice, I have not met 1 rude staff member there yet. Stay strong guys! You guys are doing everything right.

Morgan Asquini is one of the best massage therapists that I've had. Outstanding knowledge. Feel better the moment I get off the table. Highly recommend if you have an injury that you just can't shake.

My husband had to cancel because we have no ride to go there as our car is in process to get plated. And still get charge right after they hang up!

Extremely disappointed with this organization. My mother had to have an emergency surgery resulting in me missing my appointment. While caring for my unwell mother I was out of town. Elysian not only charged me but sent me to collections! I would not recommend this organization. Very poor customer service. Sometimes life happens and when it does you can be assured Elysian will not be understanding! Sad for a "wellness centre! "

Check your health insurance policy first as PSHCP won't cover acupuncture unless it's done by an M. D. Nobody here is an M. D.

I have been seeing Sara the dietitian for almost a year now and she has been nothing short of incredible. She works with you to make sure to get you to your goals. Never stops looking for answers and will go to the very end to get you the results. Making that initial appointment was the best decision I ever made in my life and for my life. Thank you Elysian for everything you do for your patients.

The massage therapist I worked with here was fantastic, and I would have been a long-term customer. But the business practices at this establishment are extremely aggressive, and it is apparent that they have no regard for patient circumstances. So, I will no longer be bringing my business here.

Be aware that if you miss the 48 hour window now for a cancellation, you will be charged. No questions and no exceptions. Apparently.

They claim it is to protect their therapists, but it's very obviously about their own bottom line.

I started with Sara in October of 2020, and since then I could not be more satisfied. I have lost 70 pounds and am now within reach of my goal weight. I look and feel better than I have in a long time and it is all thanks to Sara and the team at Elysian Wellness Centre.

Since getting massages from John my back has stopped spasing/ getting shooting pain. Everytime I get off the table I feel like a new person, I even got my roommates to see him. All of the staff here are so nice and helpful I would defenitly recommend checking it out!

I must say, great service. I was in a lot of pain. I called, they had no space left for the day, but put me on hold. When came back, they told me one of the therapists will stay late to take me.the physio was amazing. I left in less pain. I am looking forward to going back next week.

I have THE BEST massage therapist here. John Willette is incredible, weather it be for a relaxation massage, or deep tissue. Very knowledgeable, great at suggesting exercises to help, and the hot towels are my FAVE.

John is the best RMT I’ve ever had! I jokingly say he breaks and then rebuilds me. His massages are not the standard choreographed massages you often get, rather he focuses on what/where you need and makes sure everything is tended to!

A friend recommended RD Sara to me after and I have since recommended Sara and Elysian to others. My first appointment was just before the COVID lock down and I found her to be receptive, kind, very knowledgeable and professional, as were the rest of the Elysian staff. To be honest I was sceptical when I first started and had researched a number of different dietitians and nutritionists beforehand. But To my amazement over the course of six months I lost 30lbs. No gimmicks, no supplements. In fact, never have I eaten better or enjoyed the food I eat more. Food I’d long avoided or restricted I was encouraged to eat again.dairy, healthy fats and carbs. And I was eating more than I had in a long time. It took about a month or two for my body to adjust to these changes and before I noticed any weight loss, I noticed my energy was consistent throughout the day - no afternoon slumps, no sugar cravings, and improved sleep. Overall I just felt a lot better - which came as a surprise given the ongoing isolation due to the pandemic. And then the weight just started to come off. If you already eat pretty healthy and stick to the meal plan Sara develops for you (it’s very flexible and you can substitute foods to suit your tastes), you’ll see results. This is not restrictive and it isn’t prescribed. It teaches you portion control, the importance of a varied diet and taking pleasure in preparing and savouring food. I also really appreciated that we were able to meet via Zoom during lock down, and I was able to go into the Centre when the restrictions eased. The staff took every precaution to ensure they and their clients are safe. I liked that my next appointment was booked and paid for upon concluding each session and that I received appointment reminders. It just made everything easy. Honestly, this was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Can’t thank Sara enough.

I would like to share my experience with Sara RD as it was spectacular. My doctor strongly suggested I see Sara for my many medical issues. I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and IBS. I was also losing weight rapidly. I'm very happy I listened to my doctor as Sara's help put my health right on track. She was strategic in the way she worked. In just 2 months my blood work results for my kidney function had significantly improved through the meal plan she had me on. My nephrologist was very impressed. The best part, it was super easy to follow and manage. Sara was excellent in the way she explained everything and made sure I understood why I was doing what I was doing and why I had to avoid certain foods. Once all that was on track we really focused on my IBS and ramped up my weight. The whole time she made sure I didn't lose anymore but at this point she slowly increased my calories so that I could start re-gaining my weight back. We did an elimination diet which was very eye-opening for me. I never realized the kind of foods I was intolerant to, and things you would never think of. I finally know now what foods I can and cannot tolerate, she's changed the quality of my life forever. I never have to worry about rushing to the washroom after I eat or being in pain all day because of eating. I've also regained all the weight that I had lost and now it has stabilized through her final meal plan. I continue to meet with Sara to maintain things. She's so kind, thoughtful, genuine and empathetic. I can't thank her enough for changing my life around. I am thankful for the referral through my physician and now understand why he pushed so hard for me to see Sara specifically and no one else. Thank you for all you've done for me.

Amazing service, I worked with the dietitian and my experience has been great, really good at communicating and I have lost weight following the plan, I highly reccomend you visit this place.

Edit 2: Avoid this place! I'm attaching a screenshot of the e-mail which I sent to dietitian Sara Awija on Thursday morning (not Friday evening as per the owner's response). I'm very surprised that you are keeping to lie and misinform potential review readers. I will contact the Better Business Bureau to inform about your business practices. Mr Moe Awija (the director of this clinic as per information available on the BBB website who have the same last name as Sara Awija - the dietitian). Now make sense why so desperately he is trying to protect his family member from clients who are not satisfied with her poor service.

Also, let me be here clear: if during the initial appointment (which cost me 200$) the dietitian would inform me in an honest and transparent way that she doesn't respond to any questions and inquiries by e-mail after sending meal plans to customers and I need to wait till pre-paid non-refundable appointment - I would be aware of the way how she works. This would be also the reason I would not book my second appointment with her as it's not the way I would like to work with my trusted wellness provider and I would not spend another 75$ for the second app.

Check the other 1 star reviews and the replies from the owner. It seems it's their policy - the client is always wrong.

Extremely disappointed with the service and professionalism of dietitian Sara Awija. Please be aware that this person is only focused on making money from her clients! She is not interested in genuine help and professional support for her clients.

During the first appointment (which costs 200$ for 1h), she tried to sell a genetic test which costs 555$ as she was very pushy and mentioned 3 times during the initial app about this option. I said each time I'm not interested in this test. She was also 5 minutes late for her zoom appointment with me.

After receiving my meal plan during the second appointment I sent her an e-mail the next day in the morning with 3 basic questions regarding the meal plan which she prepared for me as the second app is only 30 minutes (which costs 75$) so I had no time to read carefully 14-page report which she sent to me:

1) what times frames are best for each meal and snacks? After 7pm or after 6pm don't eat anything more?

2) regarding meat options: it can be fried (not deep-fried) and also baked in the oven or steamed? Which way is best?

3) regarding liquids: I can still drink coffee with milk 1-2x per day (no sugar) and also green tea or herbal tea without limits?

After waiting 72 business hours I received the following response from her:

So basically if you have any basic questions or you need her help regarding meal plans she sends to you please be prepared to wait till the next app (usually 2 weeks) to receive any support or guidance from her. Most importantly answers to all those basic questions which I sent to her should be included in the meal plan she prepared in the first place. This also shows level of service you will receive from her.

On top of that, only she has a very strict booking and cancelation policy in this clinic - you need to pay upfront for any subsequent app and your money is not refundable? !

I have a naturopath with whom I work already 4 years and comparing her service with this dietitian "service" it's really day and night!

I don't recommend this dietitian to anyone - please save your money (275$) and time! I just hope this post spares someone else from going through the same problems and stress with her!

As they say: One Bad Fish Can Spoil the Whole Pond - will avoid this clinic for sure!

Great clinic. Have recently moved to the area and was looking for new physio/massage place. Their therapists are knowledgable and professional. Very clean. Also enjoy the direct billing, makes life easy.

Moe and his team are the best! I've been going to the Elysian since July of last year due to lower back, hip, and pelvis pain, as well as tightness in my lower calf. The centre is always clean and the staff are very professional. When I started treatment, there were days where I could barely walk and I was in constant pain. I have done massages with Younjung and Morgan, and recently started physio with Udit. I'm very happy with the services I have received. I don't have benefits and I find the pricing very reasonable. I highly recommend the Elysian Wellness Centre.

They are pretty strict on their cancellation policy but I can understand, especially after covid losses. I see a few therapists here (Johanne and John) and it is probably the best physio and massage I have ever experienced. #Supportyourlocalsmallbusiness

I had gone to Elysian Wellness center previously for massage treatments. Then, after a serious motor vehicle accident at the end of January, I reached out to the owner, Moe at the clinic. He was so incredibly helpful. I attended physio (with Johanne), massage (with John) and acupuncture (with Genevieve). The staff here and the owner are absolute professionals, who care so much about the health and well being of their patients. I absolutely, highly recommend this clinic. I hope to return in the near future. Thank you for all you do.

I got into a bad car accident a few years ago and was recommended to this place by my insurer. I have had an outstanding experience with Elysian and would highly recommend it.

I was attending this clinic prior to COVID-19 closure and was extremely impressed by how punctual they are, as well as the fact that their staff are excellent. I have seen multiple therapists here and not a single one disappointed. I am hoping they open back up soon so I can begin getting my treatments again, but kudos on their awesome communication and updates during this time.

I get massages with Morgan and she is fantastic. She's always super thorough, informative, and has some magical hands. Never walk out feeling the same, only better. Keep it up guys!

I've been seeing Sara for a few months now and it's been wonderful. I have parkinson's and also needed to lose weight. I don't know how to cook but Sara made it work for me to stick to simple meals while supporting me in learning how to cook. I can make lots of meals now and prep ahead of time. I have also lost a lot of weight already and dropped in pant sizes.
