Lyndsay and Jess are so talented. I think this is the nicest hair cut and highlights I’ve had in 10 years. They made me feel heard and seen. Both are very professional and friendly. I will definitely be going back and telling everyone about them. So very happy.

I got my hair cut and styled by Jessica and had a wonderful experience! I was long overdue for a cut. I asked Jessica to remove the damaged dry ends, which ended up being 3-4” but I trusted her completely! Thank you for bringing my hair back to life!

The place was nice enough but the stylist did the opposite of what I asked with my hair and the conversation was uncomfortable.

I had an appointment with Jocelyn this week for long rounded layers with curtain bangs. I cannot begin to express how in love I am with my new hairstyle! Jocelyn was easy to talk to and very professional. After showing her my reference photos she offered her professional advice on what she felt would look best as well as describing how my hair would look if laid naturally with the haircut I wanted. My experience at this salon is one of the best ones I've ever had

I had Jocelyn do my hair and I am extremely pleased! I was a bit nervous to have my hair cut but she put me right at ease and did exactly what I wanted. She made my hair look beautiful!

I got my hair cut my Jessica there this week. I am very happy with how it turned out. She listened to what I wanted exactly and a few times during the haircut she made sure she was doing what I wanted which I appreciated. She was very friendly and professional. I also met the owner. Claudio, who was very inviting and welcoming! The experience was very positive and I would 10/10 recommend.

Jocelyn did an amazing job with my hair! I got my hair toned, cut and styled and am so impressed with the results. In addition, Jocelyn gave me tips on how to manage my hair. Had a hair cut and colouring service for the first time at Embu Hair recently. Gabby and Desiree did a fantastic job in styling my hair as per my preference. The store was very clean with strict Covid-19 safety measures in place. I would visit Embu again in the future!

I have used Monique as my stylist for about 5 years now and refuse to go anywhere else! She is an expert at colour, and always cuts my hair perfectly. I have gone 8 months between appointments before, and will STILL receive compliments on my hair because it grows out so nicely. She is the queen of ombre, and now keeps my highlighted blonde hair icy, cool and bright. Can't recommend this place enough! Always super clean and professional, and love the Aveda products.

Until two years ago, I had my hair styled at a salon in Yorkville. Then I discovered Gabriela, and am now one of her regular clients. She listens to my new idea about how I would like my hair. But she also offers advice. (Her ideas are generally better than mine!) She is careful and detailed in her skills, has modern ideas, and has an engaging personality. I strongly recommend her.

We had Jocelyn as our hairstylist and I can't recommend her enough! She has a wide range of experience, and is extremely knowledgeable about cuts for different hair, maintenance, lifestyle, and keeps all these things in mind while working with you. Both my daughter and myself really enjoyed her company as she is very personable on top of everything else. We love our new hair style and will definitely be going back. The salon itself was well maintained and constantly being cleaned, spaced out the clients, and still provided an enjoyable relaxing experience.

Crystal is incredible in her art. I hardly have to explain what I want for styling and it's done. Love the overall look and feel of Embu. I walked in with a ton of covid-related anxiety, but was quickly set at easy and relaxed, especially with the cleaning measures they're abiding to.

My first time here and Danielle colored and styled my hair beyond expectations! She did an amazing job and kept the laughs going as well. Amazing place! Great vibes, I will be back again!

Saw Gabby today and was very disappointed in the results. Came in for partial highlights and cut, with some layering. Cut was too short for my liking and layering was awful. She was also curt when I asked that she not towel rub my hair as it would create tangles.she informed me that she knows what she’s doing and to “relax”. After many years of going to this salon, having my hair done by Renee and Melissa, with great results.this was a very disappointing experience, which won’t be repeated. Except for the timeliness (which is important to me). Not a good outcome.

Amazing hair transformation! I went in for a colour correction and the colorist fixed it all. It looks amazing and I am so happy with it. What I love about this place is that she took the time to listen to me and did my hair the way I wanted. Such a wonderful experience - will definitely return.

This salon is a lovely environment! Ask for Danielle! She was consultative, friendly and incredibly meticulous. Although I live almost 2 hrs away, it was worth the extra time and distance to get my hair done with her. I am so happy with my haircut—I feel great! Highly recommended!
