The staff here are all wonderful. I was here a couple of times for my little girl diamond. I’ve seen 2 vets and both were very professional and caring. The prices were fair and everyone was very nice. The front desk was also amazing and informative. Everyone was understanding. As my little girl passed the rainbow bridge I’m glad it was at the hands of someone caring and capable. This place is amazing. If it wasn’t for the fact it’s emergency only I would come here every time for shots and other stuff as well. Highly recommend.

Really kind people eager to take care of your pet. Yes you may need to wait and yes it may be expensive but it is a emergency service. I would not hesitate to come back here.

We had to say goodbye to our 14 year old pet. Our experience at this clinic was wonderful. Compassion and kindness were obvious. Thank you for making a hard decision the best it could have been.

I wish I could give Dr Robin and Sara a million stars today. Your compassion and kindness were beyond measure. I cant express enough how you made my baby girls passing so much easier to bear. From the deepest parts of my heart I thank you. Bless you

I've never been here. Tonight we put down our family dog, Bane. I didn't have the chance to say it but I just want to thank you guys for your genuine kindness and appreciation towards us and animals in general
You deserve to have your doors open, you ladies gave us such a dignified way to say goodbye all 5 of us said goodbye, you let us take our time, we drove up from a hour away and said bye for hours. Thank you. My heart is broken but if you want a place that does everything from bloodwork to ultrasound and is professional and actually caring not milking you for money but cares about pets, this is the place.

The worst customer service and non-empathetic staff.
My cat was in emergency situation. I was panic and tried to call many places near my place but they’re full and suggested me to call this vet. I called, a gentlemen answered the phone and direct me to another place which is closer to my house. He said if I couldn’t make it just call him back. I called back after failure of reaching out the phone number he gave me. The lady answered my phone with a cold and unwilling-to-talk tone, asking the info. After all she stated that I had to take my cat to the hospital in my city (I already explained her all the hospital around me were full).
If there is a law not taking the out of city clients, why would one of your staff members told me I can call back? And why other hospital gave me your phone number?

If I could give this place a one star rating I would. My dad took my dog in who was having a seizure in the car and passed out cold turkey and they said she was fine and that there was a 2hour wait before they could even look at her. Didn’t give any recommendations of where else he could take her or what we should do. Called our regular emergency vet at home and it was a completely different tone and way of compassion for a pet owner. Do not recommend this place and If possible go somewhere else and steer clear of this clinic as much as possible! They don’t care about you or your pet. Extremely disappointed.

Amazing attention and care. Incredibly appreciative of how they also do what they can to reduce costs. Emergency vet care can be pricey, but I trust that they only charge what they must, they also want the best for you and your animal.

I will never take my pet here again. I have a 10 week old miniature poodle that was vomitting and had bloody diarrhea. They suggested a swab for parvovirus and told me the test was inconclusive and wanted to swab him a second time. The second time they said it was positive. They told me the only option was to hospitalize him and it would be upward of $5000 for iv fluids, possible feeding tube and bloodwork. I dont have that kind of money. I have only had him a week so far and hadn't had the chance to get pet insurance. They told me another option would be to surrender him to a rescue or humane society. I spent 2 hours there calling place after place and no one could take him. They said my last option was to put him down. I decided to take him home. Once home he was eating and drinking and running around. I took him to a different vet for a second opinion. Got him retested and the results were NEGATIVE for parvovirus and the veterinarian showed me the results. He is being treated for a tummy bug. My 8 year old daughter was traumatized today thinking he was going to die. I almost put down my 10 week old puppy for NOTHING! He is running around and happy.

Called with an emergency. Receptionist took her time to fully take our history and was able to evaluate the situation and refer us to a more suitable place (they don't have access to a scope our buddy needed). I appreciate when a place is being honest and redirects you for best care instead of getting us in just to waste time and money.

An amazing place to take your pet for an emergency! Pricey – but totally worth it when your pet is in a crisis, and the clinic is now open 24x7 too!

This week was our third visit to the place in the last three years. Every visit we encountered high professionalism, care and compassion – all things that one can hope for in emergency cases with our fur kids.

The most recent case was where our cat had been throwing up for few hours, and then got lethargic – all after escaping from the house – and we suspected that she may had tasted lilies – which are poisonous for cats.

Doctor Buchanan was in when we arrived – and I loved how she was extremely professional and compassionate at the same time – while collecting all the information she needed for diagnosis and treatment. She walked us through the next steps that she was going to take – as well as the costs – at no time did I feel pressured into agreeing to anything, nor overwhelmed with excessive medical terms – her explanation was in plain English and very to the point.

We ended up leaving our cat in the care of the clinic for the next 1.5 days – turned out her vomiting lead to her inhaling some of it and leading to aspiration pneumonia – so the doctors ruled out poison suspicion and treated the right issue instead.

Doctor Anderson was the day vet looking after our cat – and I have nothing but praise for her too – we chatted twice on the phone – and she, too, was professional and answered all my questions thoroughly.

We were able to take our cat home – and she is now feeling fine and hopefully will be recovering soon.

Our case before that was where another cat of ours had a seizure – and again, the clinic was able to help stabilize her, the vet explained all potential issues that may have had caused it – and following their advice after we took her home and getting her to our regular vet shortly, we were able to have the kitty fully recover from the issue.

The first case we went with ended in having to euthanize our cat – and again, the levels of compassion, care and professionalism were amazing – helping us cope with the shock from the loss.

Our pets deserve so much more than this clinic has to offer. I would highly recommend that you bring your animal anywhere else and avoid this clinic. On July 1,2023, i brought my rescued Greyhound Loki in to see Dr. Kirsten Anderson due to an injury to his tail. The tail had no broken bones and no damage to the tails blood supply. I was shocked that the doctor suggested they amputate the tail but i allowed this happen based on her professional advice. $1800 later, Loki was sent home with some basic meds and i was instructed to visit our local vet to follow up on his healing 3 days later to complete a bandage change. This where things take a turn. My local trusted and experienced veterinarian regretfully informed me that his tail has serious issues due to several errors on the part of Dr Kirsten Anderson. #1 The artery was not properly ligated and led to uncontrolled arterial bleeding 3 days later during bandage change. #2 failed to confirm successful ligation after releasing tourniquet. The wound was bandaged up BEFORE this critical verification which concealed the failed ligation. #3 this clinic does not have a basic cauterization machine which is shocking to me as this is an emergency clinic. After learning this, i personally spoke with Dr Kirsten Anderson and this is exactly what i told. This is not simply my opinion. She apologized but stated that she struggled with the ligation portion of the procedure and more than likely failed to stop the arterial blood flow. She claimed that she doesn’t have much experience with amputations and claimed that a cauterization machine would have benefited Loki and that her clinic “should probably invest in one” and also attempted to shift blame by stating that there were “many other emergency cases that night” These are her words, not mine. 2 weeks later and Loki is still having serious problems with his mangled tail. Tremendous pain and infections are currently being managed by my local clinic and unfortunately i am now looking at the possibility of another amputation to correct these issues. I rescued him after he survived over 4 years in the dog racing industry and it breaks my heart that my best friend must endure this brutal and unnecessary suffering. I’ve reported this disaster to The College of Veterinarians of Ontario and i pray that this governing body can help prevent this type of mediocrity in the future. If you are thinking about bringing your pet to this clinic, please think again. Please go somewhere, anywhere else.

I had to bring my giant breed dog here recently. They were very professional and upfront about pricing. I never felt pressured and was able to ask plenty of questions which were answered knowledgeably. My dog has made a full recovery. I would use this clinic again and recommend to others for sure. Thanks again!

Just like most people leaving reviews the vets here doesn’t even understand cut paw pads as I had to talk to my personal vet after getting bad advice from the vet here telling me to leave the paw exposed to dirt and stone while walking and put a cone on him to not lick ok great but as soon as we get home his foot is pouring blood, as for the comments she made just irritated me saying that the antibiotics was gonna be costly because of my dogs weight as he is a Great Dane…. I own a Great Dane Yes I know it’s gonna cost a lot on meds thank you, next thing she starts palpitating his stomach when I told her he just ate as a vet you should know not to push on against stomach after the eat as it can cause the stomach to twist …. And I was completely ignored…. These people are only good if your animal is about to die or gonna be put down please go somewhere else.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at the clinic that graciously took my daughter and I in right away with our sweet boy Mufasa. The sweet vet tech (I apologize I can't remember her name) and Dr. Schell were so wonderful and kind during the time we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy. We were worried about going to a clinic we had never been to, but everyone's kindness and patience was lovely and refreshing. I am so grateful that they helped our boy pass on peacefully and allowed us the time to grieve and say goodbye. Even though saying goodbye was not easy, they eased our burden.

We had to euthanize our dog on a long weekend. All the staff we dealt with were incredibly kind and supportive. They made the process as easy as it could have been.

It saddens me to see the 1-2 star reviews on here. This clinic has always been great to me and my pets. Sure they’re more expensive than your regular vet but you’re paying for emergent care which is par for the course. They have always treated us with kindness and empathy and have been very thorough and committed to getting to the bottom of any issue as fast as they can. I will also mention the ladies at the front desk are absolutely lovely and work incredibly hard to keep everything moving smoothly and ensure everyone is looked after. So glad to have this clinic close by as a reliable resource in a pinch.

I want to personally thank your clinic for making the time to see my Niece yesterday who brought in Chase (cat). After her own clinic refused her. Even though Chase had to cross the Rainbow Bridge, your compassion goes a long ways. Thank you for the woman at the front desk who immediately took Chase and placed him on Oxygen. Everyone who worked on Chase, your kindness goes very much unrecognized. Thank you again!

Amazing experience here! We brought our pup in on a Sunday because the area around his stitches got infected. He’s nervous around strangers and sometimes reactive. Dr Jones and the vet tech (didn’t catch her name) were both so wonderful interacting with him! They didn’t make eye contact, let him come to them and were extremely gentle and not invasive while inspecting him. After the exam, she walked us through our options. Was up front about the costs and gave great advice without making us feel pressured. I felt really taken care of. Wish I could make this crew our regular vet.

The wait was long and it was pricey but that should be expected at an emergency vet.

This clinic was fantastic and the veterinarian was highly professional! Our cat received thorough examination and the veterinarian also shared valuable insights and information.

I took my dog here yesterday morning for excessive vomiting with cause unknown. The Dr recommended that she be admitted to the hospital, receive IV fluids and anti nausea medication, blood tests and an ultrasound. It turns out she had an obstruction in her intestine and needed emergency surgery and to stay over night. The staff there updated me regularly about how she was doing, and told me I could call for updates as well.

A lot of the reviews mention how money was brought up, as well as lack of compassion. I found all of the staff to be very straightforward, but did not feel that they lacked compassion or empathy. I appreciate that they were upfront about the cost of everything so I knew what to expect.

I had a great experience here and they saved my girl's life. I absolutely would come here again if i needed to (but I hope I don't).
