Emery village dental is by far the best experience I've ever had going to the dentist. The hygienists and dentist take their time with you and go over how you can improve your dental care. Dr. Joo is really care about patient. All of the staff are professional and efficient. I love the technology available in the office and am impressed with the number of services they offer. I am 100% satisfied with their service.

The Team
Dr. Joo takes his time to examine the X-Rays, explains what he is looking at and reviews his concerns/recommendations with you. He is a joyful and pleasant doctor. Pamela is uplifting, vibrant and a pleasure to have as a dental hygienist. She is clear with direction, builds a relationship with you and makes appointments feel like you're visiting a friend. Plus, she gave me a goodies bag with a new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss to foster my new oral care journey. Front desk: Kamile is bright, welcoming and non-judgmental. She was excited for my comeback story. Azhia always asks how your day is, how everything went and quick to respond to email enquiries. The entire team and the totality of the experiences will lock you in for life.

The Office
New, clean, modern and sophisticated. I love that I can contact the office by text message and receive invoices by email. If an earlier appointment opens up, they will advise you. A reminder text is sent two days before the appointment. They bill directly to my insurance and are transparent about the out of pocket costs. If you do not have insurance, you are also welcome. They are open until 8: 00 p.m. On most days which allows for flexibility with my "9 to 5" job.

Great experience. Very friendly and professional staff. I watched a movie while getting my teeth worked on. That helped put my anxiety at ease.

The Emery Village Team is awesome:) from the time I stopped in once they opened, until I left my 2nd appointment, it felt like I had been coming there for years. Glad to have them in the community!

I was a bit skeptical about seeing a dentist because it’s been a few years since my last visit but I decided to give Emery Dental a shot and I must say that I was very pleased with my decision the staff was nice and they made me feel comfortable and Dr YoungWoo discussed with me what options best suit me I was very happy with the service and care I received. With that being said I would definitely recommend Emery Dental to family and friends who are interested in finding a dentist. I had a great experience at Emery Village Dental. I went in on the weekend for an emergency extraction and upon my arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist named Azhia, who offered me water from the fridge. I waited no more than 5 minutes for my room. Dr. Joo and his assistant were very nice and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The extractions was successful. I recommend this dental office.

I had a great experience with Dr. Joo and his staff from booking the appointment to the service. They made me feel comfortable. I like the establishment. It's clean, state of the art equipment, and spacious. The receptionist was upfront and clear on the prices. A bonus is that they accept clients who don't have insurance and want to pay out of pocket.

I highly recommend Emery Village Dental. I will be registering my children there too.

I really enjoyed my visit here. I decided to give this dentistry a try as it’s new and close by. They have another location on Lakeshore with a handful of great reviews which made me confident in booking an appointment at their new location. I had awful experiences with my previous dentist due to lack of professionalism, transparency, insurance issues and ruining my smile. Dr. Joo and his team Kamile and Chow did not disappoint.

- His team were very transparent with all the costs, analyzed and thoroughly examined my X-rays with me and explained the areas of my teeth/smile that require some work.
- They really took the time to listen to me about the areas of my teeth that I’m concerned with. My feelings feel validated here and I feel greatly informed when Dr. Joo provides me with his medical opinion on what is necessary to fix vs not.
- I really enjoy that they have a treatment coordinator to discuss my future appointments for fillings. They’re not too pushy and understands my reasons for not wanting certain work done. Nonetheless, I felt super organized and well informed of my treatment.
- They bill directly to my insurance which makes it super easy for me.
- Bonus points for a clean office and friendly yet professional staff.
