I am disappointed because I payed for upgrades in the house that I never received and even after one year they still have not returned the money. My emails are getting no response.

We Personally had a very bad experience with this builder. I would never recommend it to anyone. Closing for the unit was done in haste and the builder somehow got the occupancy two days after the closing. PDI was done on the closing date and the house was incomplete. We still thought they will complete the remaining work as we could not move to the unit with no flooring at all and lots of other work like door knobs, Garage door, tile work and many other paint touch ups. We waited for three more weeks after closing and they kept on making fake promises to complete the remaining work but to no avail. I had to cancel all my move schedules a few times and finally after three weeks of closing i decided to do the move and today when i reached the unit i found it too messy, super dirty and the work was not completed Infact a door was found totally broken hinjeless and my son had a narrow escape. Very poor and unprofessional builder. I am sharing a few pics which are 2 weeks after closing of the unit. On 3rd week of closing carpets were installed so whoever decides to buy just get ready for all these surprises.

Worst expirence so far.squeaking sounds all over the floor.its almost 6 months we moved in, we havent got our issues fixed.

Surprised to find out tub sizes in washroom not happy at all no more excitement about new house.the lady we meet for upgrades was so rude and what we told her and wanted upgrade she just charged money but forget to add those haha I will never recommend anyone anymore after visiting site as I did send them several people but no more!

Great company. You have to make an appointment to get in.
The company is follow the COVID 19 health protocol. The store provide washroom and water for the costumers.

We bought a home that was built by Empire and it’s coming apart. Part of the roof is falling off, tiles in the kitchen is coming out, tiles at the front entrance is coming out, tiles in the entrance way of the garage is also coming out. The shower in the master bedroom leaked when you take a shower, really bad smell comes from the bathroom sinks and shower drains. We scheduled on appointment with Empire and they came to look at the problem and told us they can’t do anything about it because it passed the one year warranty. We also filed a claim with Tarion. Tarion send them the report and after 4 months they finally got back to us and again said they can’t do anything about it. The workmanship from Empire company is really TERRIBLE! They rush and build the houses and they don’t do a very good job. I spoke to so many people in the community only to be told that they are having the same problems with their homes. Clearly the homes are not built properly because so many different people could not be having the same issues. I would not recommend anyone looking to purchase a home to purchase it from Empire, it’s better to buy from other companies such as Reflections or Lasany. Empire is garbage!

Poor experience dealing with Empire as Raj doesn’t respond to people’s emails. Went in to inquire about what lots were available for single family homes and he gave out his card if we had any further questions. Emailed him and heard back a month later. Asked him more questions and it’s now been weeks with no reply. Friends of ours said they emailed him and never got a reply back at all (lol). If this is any indication on how the entire process would be NO thank you. Bruce Robinson homes in Binbrook responds to their emails though and if we move forward with buying a new house it will be with them.

Hell no.the worst builder I have ever used. First, they charge you for every little thing. My house is almost a year old and it’s fallen apart already. When you complain they will tell you to use ur insurance company, they don’t want to fix anything, however the house was not build properly. They don’t show up for appointments. They canceled my appointment three times last minute that I took day off from work. This is my third time buying new build and this company is the worst. Will never recommend this company. They also have rude customer services omg. Their house looks nice outside but its not build properly. My house is less then a year and my rooting is coming out already. It’s really sad.never again.

Nicely said, these homes are terrible quality. Many, many repairs within first year - fan in laundry area fell out of ceiling, master bedroom door handle broke, guest bathroom door ripped completely off the door jam due to 1/2" screws, master shower lighting can't be replaced bc of poor installation, carpets lifting, back sliding door unable to lock, drywall seams visible, master bedroom freezing compared to the rest of house even after encouraging airflow. No kids or pets in home, two single adults so damage should be zero. Empire customer service staff are rude, dismissive and more concerned with the newer homes still under construction. Fixing issues using a personal contractor cancels warranty. Needless to say we are moving.

Homes are beautifully laid out on the outside and on paper. Good neighbourhood too. However, once completed, you can tell that they lack a lot of craftsmanship. They pay so little attention on details that it ends up causing more work for the home owners after moving in. The upgraded purchases are definitely not worth the price, as it can be done properly, with more attention and for a fraction of the cost, on your own. Even after advising the builder of the issues, they end up causing more damage and work for home owner to fix. Empire sells their homes and will build them so quickly that their attention to professionalism, detail, and craftsmanship doesn't matter. They also lack communication between their customer service and their construction tradesmen. Would not recommend buying new from Empire.
