Mojeeb provides poor service and banks on the fact that he is an immigrant from Afghanistan despite continuously complaining about how “terrible”Canada is. Not only did it take me three visits to get my glasses, but also the end product was lack luster. Despite paying $395 for a single pair of glasses, the glasses provided didn’t match my prescription. Had head aches for a week before checking with another provider who told me that the lenses didn’t match my prescription. Safe yourself time and money - never visit this establishment.

Great people, great products! I can see clearly now. After years of blurriness due to computer and phone usage, my vision was no longer 20/20 but 20/25. Everything was explained to me in an easy to understand way. Strongly recommend working with Empire Eyewear!

They have good collection eye wear. It’s filled with best collections so filtering for the eye frames are easier. I bought a lovely pair of DITA sunglasses. Dr. Anisa Jeewa was humble and friendly and made my visit worthwhile.

From the second that you walk in, the staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating; especially if you're new. I just happened to be passing by Empire Eyewear and decided to go in -BEST decision ever! I was able to see Dr. Samar Kafeel 30 minutes after my walk-in (but of course it's always better to book an appointment).

Their selection of eyewear is top tier at a very reasonable price and the staff was incredibly patient and engaging.

Dr. Samar Kafeel was extremely welcoming and thorough in my eye exam. The doctor did an amazing job at explaining each process of the eye exam to me and also provided me with expert recommendations based on my results.

It was a great experience visiting doctor Samar! She was very thorough and took the time to explain every step of the process. Her staff is so kind and welcoming. They not only have great customer service, but really work towards putting you in glasses that fit your needs! They were all so patient. I took about 1.5 to 2 hours of their time while in search for the perfect glasses. Took their time to walk me through the benefits of each glass I picked up. Felt such a personable experience from the onset. I would highly reccomend empire Eyewear for all eyewear needs!

Excellent optometrist! Dr. Samar Kafeel did a full eye examination and actually showed me an image of my eye vessel's health which I've never seen before. Dr. Samar also provided me with multiple contact lens samples to take home and try. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience here after having multiple negative experiences with different optometrists in the past.

My mom actually recommended that I see Dr. Samar after our previous optometrist misdiagnosed my mom's advanced cataracts for multiple years. Thankfully, Dr. Samar diagnosed my mom's cataracts in their first meeting after years of her struggling to see on a daily basis. Best place to get your eye exam and get a good pair of glasses for a fair price. Dr. Anisa explained my situation very well, without any concerns about time, she did the necessary exams to check my cornea, all with the utmost care and attention. Excellent! I will be back for my annual check up!

Dr Kafeel was so helpful and kind throughout my visit today. From educating me throughout the eye exam to helping me pick out a frame that suits me and even finding alternatives for me. I really just had a great experience and was honestly having a not so great day but it really helped bringing my mood up. Go get your eyes checked!

My parents and I had been referred to Dr. Samar by a relative, and she didn't disappoint. We were able to get an appointment with her right away, and the practice's later hours accommodate my work schedule. Both she and the office coordinator were kind and friendly and took such great care in dealing with my dad. After seeing and performing tests on my dad, Dr. Samar included me in the conversation and explained the issues with my dad's eyes in an easy to understand manner and was quick to refer my dad to a specialist so he can get the treatment he requires to ensure he has the best vision possible. It was a very pleasant experience for us.

My overall experience at Empire was awesome! Dr. Samar and the entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming - creating a very comfortable environment. Staff were very professional, helpful and welcoming. Most optometrists just perform their tests and send you off without showing results, but Dr. Samar took time to explain and show pictures of my eye and its current health. As a patient, I find this really empowering because now I have a better understanding of my eye than just numbers written on prescription papers. She also went over some specific remedies and treatment options for my dry eyes in depth which was extremely helpful than just being told to use eye drops. I really appreciate the time she took to provide health education and she answered all my questions with care. I left feeling relief having been educated on what more I can and should do to help myself. Very satisfied with the overall care I received from Dr. Samar and the front desk staff, I highly recommend this place.

If you're visiting as a new patient, you'll notice that this is located within an apartment complex. The parking is free for first 3h and the 2nd floor is a retail area parking space. And Empire Eyewear is located on the 2nd floor too so if you park on the 2nd floor you wouldn't have to take the elevator.

My daughter and I had the best experience at Empire Eyewear. The entire team is very knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Their selection of eyewear is excellent! Can’t thank you enough:)

Best Optometrist that I've ever been to Dr. Samar was EXTREMELY detailed with her examination, she took her time to make sure that I was getting the right prescription and went into detail about everything that I need to do to maintain healthy eyes, she was also very helpful with getting me the right frames that suited me. Great glasses store! I was trying to get specific oakley sunglasses and normally I go to lenscrafters but they didn't carry it nor would they say when they're getting it back in stock. I must have called 10 lenscrafters and all had them out of stock.

I asked Empire Eyewear if they could order the glasses for me. Normally they don't even carry oakley glasses but they went above/beyond and got the sunglasses for me even while they were on backorder. I only had to wait a few weeks!

Wow what an incredible experience! I walked up to the store and Dr Anisa Jeewa, greeted us and made us feel so welcome and set me up with an appointment for a few days later. When I arrived for my appointment Dr Samar Kafeel was so quick to welcome me and took such great care of me. I love the glasses I got and I can not wait to show them off!

This place changed my life! I came in with my chest out chin up thinking I have impeccable eyesight fit for a spartan warrior.the truth was anything but that. With the help of Dr. Anisa I found out my eyes resembled a football and my left eye was failing me, quite a dissapoinment.

You know in hindsight it all makes sense as my father always had football shaped eyes and has worn glasses since he was a wee child.lifes crazy.

I recently had an amazing experience at Empire Eye Wear and wanted to share it! I had been searching for an eye doctor for a few months and was referred to Dr. Jeewa at Empire Eye Wear by a friend who had visited her beautiful store and was very impressed with her level of professionalism and caring nature. I had called the store to book an appointment and was personally working with an already full schedule and limited time for appointments, Dr. Jeewa was very accommodating to my timings and worked late that night to ensure I was able to have a thorough eye exam!
I found Dr. Jeewa to be very patient, medically savvy and had a wonderful chair side manner. After my eye exam she also assisted me in picking out a beautiful pair of glasses which not only fit my face well, but was very fashionable too! Her store has an extensive selection of designer frames with varying prices to suit every budget.
