There's a reason I drive 45-minutes (each way) to my old neighborhood in Toronto to get my teeth taken care of by this office! - I was worried about getting braces for the second time. I had them in my teens but the Orthodontist I went through didn't do a great job at helping me maintain the work we did. Spending more time and money to 're-do things' in my 40's certainly wasn't something I was excited about.but did this office ever help me regain my trust in an Orthodontist!

Dr. Shiva Shadmand has been so kind and is always so friendly, and very professional! She helped me select an effective and affordable game plan for straightening my teeth. It was less than I had expected, and I am SO ELATED with the results! I never thought I'd have my teeth looking the way they do right now!

The staff I see during my visits - Amy, Christine, and Linda are always so friendly! They greet me with a smile each visit, ask about how things are going in my life, and they listen when I have any questions or concerns about travel and provide great direction.

After going through this process for the second time and having another experience to compare this to, I could not recommend this Team enough! They are a delight to see, are helpful in every way, and they have certainly earned my trust!

Dr. Shadmand is amazing. The clinic is clean and utilizes new technology for reliable communication. All the staff are wonderful and always supportive and caring.

I feel really lucky that I found this place. I have very severe crossbite in the back on my right side, in fact i wasn’t really able to chew on my right side since I was at a very young age. For multiple reasons I was reluctant to wear braces so I went to about a dozen consultations across GTA. Some of doctors even told me to remove 4 of my big teeth and plant new ones for which he quoted me almost $10,000. I’m so glad I finally found Dr. Shadmand that can do Invisalign with my case and at a very reasonable price. During every visit, she’s patient, precise, more importantly very knowledgable.

I can comfortably say if I have kids someday and they need to see an orthodontist, I won’t consider anyone else other than Dr. Shadmand.

They are nice and have a wide spread person and very welcome and kind to you. You will be very welcomed. They are the kindest and nicest people you will ever meet.

Our (shy) daughter, apprehensive at first, was treated extremely well and the assessment appointment went over without a hitch. Thank you for your friendliness and compassion!

Dr. Shadmand and her staff are very professional and friendly. Empress Orthodontics is a modern, pristine office where staff and the doctor do their best to make sure you have an amazing experience as a patient. Wait time is short, parking is free, and service is professional.

Staff, orthodontic assistant, and Dr. Shadmand are very friendly, caring and always do great job whenever I come in for my appointments. Office is also very clean and modern.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Empress orthodontics. After approx. $8000 my teeth were completely ruined. Near the end of my initial treatment with braces I was informed that I would need to get veneers. After speaking with a few cosmetic dentists, I was informed my teeth were not in the optimal position for the veneers. I then had to pay an additional $2000 to empress on top of my initial treatment to further correct my teeth. After several tries and failed results I finally gave up. I found Dr. Shadmand to be extremely unprofessional and difficult to deal with. We were unable to come to a resolution. In the end I had to pay an additional $6300 to another cosmetic dentist to fix the issues.

Being a patient of Dr. Shadmand has been a life-altering experience, one that has positively changed both my confidence and smile. The atmosphere and overall professionalism of the entire team always left me feeling assured of the positive outcomes that are to be received at the end of my treatment, which of course beyond excelled my expectations. I honestly cannot fathom the words to express the feedback received from my family and friends after the final results. They were all completely overjoyed to see the transformation and commented on how wonderful I looked. Having had the orthodontic treatment as an adult, the common issues of bone loss and excessive gum inflammation meant that my case was of a challenging nature. However, despite the difficulties presented, Dr. Shiva was able to successfully restore that which I thought was impossible to accomplish.me Smiling again.literally, from cheek to cheek. I highly recommend Dr. Shiva for all you orthodontic endeavors, I know with absolute​ certainty that you too will note what I've experienced.
