Enamel Republic Family Dentistry

Based on my experience, Dr. Kyle Hornby is a great doctor because he is very knowledgable, kind, and humble. He is the right person to take care of dental issues, so I recommend anyone, who is having difficulties with their tooth/teeth, to visit him.

The care I got from starting to end was impeccable, and I am falling short of words to explain such an experience.

Went to the dentist after 15 years and Kyle was very kind and walked me through all the steps as we went along. I would highly recommend Enamel Republic Family Dentistry. Everyone is so kind and helpful!

Welcoming environment, they listen to your concerns and are very flexible with addressing issues on the spot when possible.

My first visit to Enamel Republic was great. The building/office is quaint, but the staff were incredibly friendly and present. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while so I was a bit nervous, but Kyle Hornby and the team were kind and spent lots of time explaining everything to me!

Kyle is a great dentist, he is very knowledgeable and caring. He is a strong communicator who makes sure to talk with you and not at you. He doesn't try to over bill you on anything. The staff are also amazing and I could tell Kyle is attentive to who he hires. You'll have a hard time finding a dentist who can match the quality of care here. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kyle is by far the best dentist I've been treated by. I've went to his dentistry for over 5 years and never experienced any pain after fillings. He is also very honest and will not try to abuse your insurance with a billion type of x-rays that take 70-75% of your total coverage (unfortunately, it happened to me) and insist that you get crowns installed. I left Kitchener and I miss this dentistry, I always trusted Dr. Kyle! The staff is also very friendly!

Got my teeth cleaned there by Christina, couldn't have asked for a better experience! Wonderfully done and no place I would rather trust with my teeth!

I went to see Dr. Kyle to get the second opinion about an expensive treatment and I am really glad I did that. He explained everything very clearly by showing the X-rays and pictures of my teeth and telling me exactly what was wrong and what kind of options I had. Neglected my dental hygiene for years. Dr Hornby and his hygienist/reception are wonderful. They took me in as a new client and help me navigate through check ups, fillings and cleanings. I had my first appointment at Enamel Republic today and had a great experience. The atmosphere is very laid back, everyone was friendly, and most importantly Dr. Hornby took the time to explain what he was doing throughout the work I had done. Very glad to have found him and this office!

Folks.if you have doubt about a dentist, if you had a bad experience Dr. Hornsby is your go to Dentist. Fantastic, down to earth. Honest, caring consultation, and gave me dental advice that made me leave smiling. Changed my Review from a 5 Star to a 1 Star. Honestly this place deserves a 5 Star Review as everyone there is amazing and does a great job at what they do. Reason for the change is simple. When I offered some constructive criticism for a new hygenist who cleaned my daughters teeth. I was shocked by the reply I got back from Kyle Hornby basically telling me that my family was not welcome in his office anymore. My daughters appt was scheduled for 45 mins and she was basically in the chair for less than 30. She mentioned that the hygenist did a very rushed job. When I received the bill from my insurance company it was noted that I was charged for 30 mins of Scaling/Cleaning and 7.5 mins of Polishing which were not covered fully due to not being past the time since the last polish. I told him this was basically insurance fraud and was welcomed with a "Go find another dentist" When I told him that my wife and daughter had unfinished work and if he should kick anyone out it should be me for bringing it to his attention I received ZERO reply. Now I'm left wondering if my Wife and Daughters teeth will be fixed. I never expected that type of reply from Kyle Hornby as he has always been nothing but the best when it comes to dealing with issues in his practice and nothing but nice to our whole family. Guess this is goodbye though I wish I hadn't contacted him at all

Kyle and his unsurpassed staff of Enamel Republic are real professionals. The friendly vibe will surround you when entering and stay with you while you are there and also if you need to call back. This doesn’t happen everywhere. I felt I had to follow Kyle when he chose to open his own practice. I’m not one to write reviews but feel compelled to spread the fact of how a humble expert can dial down what traditionally has been a scary experience to a positive one, all the while doing such a level of dentistry that I’ve never found or realized elsewhere.

Through the upheaval of the last couple of years Kyle has maintained his same attitude. After many years of customer service I know I have learned a few things about real interaction and how you can’t really fake it. It’s what it’s all about at Enamel Republic; top notch dentistry and a positive experience.

Today I had my new patient consultation with Enamel Republic Family Dentistry. I have been extremely impressed by the integrity, professionalism, and care from all the team members. The dental hygienist was friendly, and she immediately put me at ease, as I can be an anxious patient. For Dr. Kyle Hornby, I appreciated his knowledge and detailed walkthrough of my dental health and he was happy to answer any questions or concerns I had. I have no doubt that I am in the right hands, and that this competent and honest team will look after everything.

Let me start by saying, I am a nervous patient. I have seen so many bad dentists over the years but Dr Kyle Hornby is a breath of fresh air! If all experiences were like this the fear of dentists would go extinct.
Dr Hornby is an exceptional dentist. He treated me with kindness, patience and most importantly to me, he treated me with respect. There was no judgement, no pressure, literally nothing bad at all about my experience. The entire staff from start to finish was incredible. I didn’t catch everyone’s name and I apologize for that but thank you to the entire staff, you truly made this experience the best experience I have ever had at any dentist office.

Dr. Kyle is attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I got 3 fillings done and he kept me informed throughout the whole process. You surely don’t come across great dentist like him now a days! Happy to be his patient:)

If there were more stars available then I surely would have given more. Dr. Hornby is the most amazing doctor I have ever been to. His hands are great and I didn’t feel even a slight discomfort during my procedure. He makes you feel so comfortable and is never in a rush. Liz is super too, such a sweet and lovely nurse. I've been going to Dr. Hornby for around 6 years now. Excellent dentist! Over the years, he could have easily up-sold me on a few things but has always first asked "is X (issue with your teeth) bothering you at all? " I answer "no" and he says that in that case, 'there's nothing to worry about'. Greatly appreciated this approach as it's the same way I try to run my business. Honest guy, puts himself in your shoes.

At a recent new patient appointment, Dr. Hornby fully addressed every issue I raised about my mouth and teeth and he helped me by giving me good information. At a follow up to do two restorations, he was gentle and skilled.

He was absolutely amazing very generally usually dentist is a scary painful exp for me. But he was conforting continuously asking if I was doing ok and extremely gentaly honestly could have feel asleep in the chair amazing job.

I have been to many dentists over my lifetime and I can Honestly state that Dr Hornby is 1 of a kind with his low key pleasant novel approach and over the top openness that immediately feels that you are a very lucky and valued client. This is absolutely a throwback to the days when people were treated with respect and with genuine appreciation for their business. This is demonstrated from every employee which is truly an anomaly. If you want honesty, a thoroughly pain free experience and a level of professionalism, head and shoulders above the norm then do yourself a Huge favour and call for an appointment soon before he gets totally over booked. Lastly, the cherry on top was that his prices are definitely more than reasonable.

I avoided going to the dentist for the past few years due to my anxiety with dental work. Kyle is an amazing dentist and very upfront and honest regarding what’s necessary and what isn’t necessary. The service is wonderful from the time you enter Enamel Republic. I am so impressed by the customer service from the reception, the hygienists and Dr. Hornby. Everyone tries their best to accommodate your schedule and budget. Dr. Hornby is calming, thorough and knowledgable. He consistently checks in to make sure you are comfortable and to explain the process of any procedure. The first time I went Enamel Republic was for composite bonding, I was so impressed that I drive 60 minutes to continue to visit this dentistry.

I love everything about the place, the warm welcome and Dr. Kyle always checking if I was okay while he grinds my teeth, how Liz is so nice and gave me advices. Cheryl is so friendly too! It’s a great place all in all.

From the onset of making an appointment, to Cheryl greeting me at the door, to the calming demeanor of Liz, to the gentleness and thoroughness of Aura, and last but not least to the overall knowledge, competence and care of Dr. Kyle, I could not ask for a better experience. Being a new patient and having had some negative experiences with past dentists, I came with anxiety and apprehensions. Immediately I was put at ease, and now with my most recent appointment of having 3 cavities filled yesterday behind me, I have to say I am completely impressed and recommend Dr. Kyle and his wonderful staff highly!

I feel blessed to have found Enamel Republic. Dr. Hornby did not judge me at all during our consultation. Both him and Liz were extremely kind hearted and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Hornby is like a great friend who wants to help you and not tell you what you’ve done wrong, but instead, explain to you how things can be improved and how he can help. He asks you what your goals are with your smile and takes time to explain how these goals can be achieved and what’s best for your health and well being. He does not reprimand you about your teeth and genuinely understands. When he is working on a procedure, he consistently checks in with you to ensure you are comfortable and his light hearted demeanour is so greatly appreciated! Liz is also very gentle and supportive. I have had 2 extractions done with Dr. Hornby - both were painless during and after the procedure and they healed perfectly. I can say with 100% confidence that I am excited to call Enamel Republic to book an appointment and I again want to thank the team there for changing my life and allowing me to finally get help for my dental issues. I never thought I’d be able to take this step and I now realize how incredible it is to have such a great dentist on your side who truly wants to help. I cannot say thank you enough!

Rude receptionist tried to diagnose me with an “infected tooth” over the phone and then told me they wouldn’t have time to fill my tooth even though I specifically said I was making an appointment to have a cavity filled. Trying to charge patients for unnecessary work and draw out appointments. Unhelpful staff.

By far the best Dentist around. I had a root canal done with less pain than a cleaning at my old dentist. He takes the time to make sure the work is done properly while making sure your comfort is priority #1. He is very personable and treats you like family. Highly recommend him if you've had "butcher" dentists in the past!

Dr. Kyle and all of his staff were very nice. I have had many fillings by many dentists and this guy is the most patient-oriented dentist ever, AND got the job done right. I mean perfectly. And in way less time than expected. We just feel very thankful we got to go to Enamel Republic (Danube) instead of elsewhere. Lastly- they are great with kids! Patient and nice and relaxed. I searched online quite a while to find the best dentist in the region, and he seems to be the one. My experience was great; very careful cleaning and checkup, and useful recommendations. He also kindly responded to the questions I had for my son.

After looking around for a new dentist for a few years, I finally came across Danube dental. I always get nervous going to the dentist, but after my first visit with them I knew this was the right place.

You will find the friendliest staff here, everyone is nice, they know your name when your greeted, they are gentle and do great work.

I still don’t like the dentist but this place keeps me calm, won’t be changing dentists ever!

I HATE going to the dentist.until my wife found this place. Dr. Kyle is just amazing. He gives you an honest opinion on what work is really needed and what is not. He have incredible technique that limits discomfort. The hygienists are great and so is the front desk staff. Every other dental office in KW should model themselves after this place. Great job.

Dr. Kyle and the amazing team at Danube really helped our family out. Both of our kids are under 6 years old and needed some first time dental work. Outstanding Dentist and team. He does all the necessary x-rays and tests. Takes all the time to take additional pictures to show the patient what's wrong, and how it can be fixed. What's even better than his excellent skills is how much he cares about his patients. He only cared about fixing my fillings as he hates to see fillings remain untreated, therefore he was very accommodating to my financial situation. It is actually very rare to see doctors care about patients like this nowadays. His team is great and spend all the time to explain every procedure. The treatments I got from tests to cleaning to fillings were spot on! I cannot recommend this place enough!

I have severe dental anxiety. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 4 years and I had extensive work to be done. Everyone at this clinic was very reassuring and positive and made me feel calm. I appreciate how Dr. Hornby always informs you of what's going on and explains each step. Dr. Hornby is very patient and understanding and does great work. If something doesn't feel right he listens to your feedback and is eager to correct it. He uses a camera to show you the work that needs to be done and the work that has been done so you can see the difference and he only recommends what is necessary.
The dental assistants and hygensists are very personable and professional and treat you like family. The women at reception always greet you with a smile and were extremely supportive and comforting to me at my first visit when I couldn't help but cry from anxiety.
Overall I would recommend this clinic to anyone, especially if you have dental fear or anxiety. I will be bringing my family here from now on and recommending it to my friends.
