Adel Bendahmane did a great job. He took time to investigate and insulate the root cause and he was able to fix my water heater. Adel was very professional, he got a very high customer service skills I will be more than happy to deal with him again. Recently had my yearly furnace maintenance appointment with Enercare and received excellent service from Jonathan B, Alex P and their manager Matt! It was my first experience with Enercare, and definitely won’t be my last! All were professional, could tell they really value their customers and did a great job fixing an issue with my furnace (same day)! Really appreciate the great service!

The technician, Adel, was extremely professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He checked and cleaned parts of the furnace that nobody had before. Also friendly to talk to. We’ll ask for him in the future.

My old furnace became defective and needed to be replaced just as we started getting sub zero temperatures. I spoke with Enercare consultant Jordan Simon and I decided on an appropriate replacement after he walked me through all the various options and choices. He then arranged for installation to be done as soon as possible. The new furnace was installed a few days later in a very professional and efficient manner by Enercare technicians Jeff and Jamie, and my home is a warm place once again. Thank you guys for a great job. It’s very much appreciated.

Water burst and tech was sent right away. Tank was emptied and pipes capped. The tech Amir was friendly and very efficient. We should get a new tank in less than 48 hours.

Service tech Norm was the one who came to our house last week to help with our AC that wasn’t working. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything that he was seeing as well as giving advice on things to improve. By the time he left, the house had already dropped two degrees in temperature! Great service from Norm!

Alex Cundy was the Enercare Technician that was assigned for my A/c Cooling Maintenance appointment and he was amazing! He did such a thorough job looking at my A/c equipment and he even helped me out by recommending I buy a different type of A/c filter that was actually less expensive, but in his opinion, better quality. I even mentioned I was having trouble finding the outside shutoff valve (I had just bought the house a year earlier) and he pointed me to a corner of my basement ceiling that he thought was where it should be (judging by the location of the outside tap). He was right! He went out of his way to help me. I was so appreciative of his help, I asked for him by name the last two summers (this summer, 2021 and last summer, 2020) but I was told that his schedule was full or that he was unavailable. I'm writing a review two full years later, just because I thought he deserves some recognition. Thank you so much again, Alex! It's people like you that make a difference and are memorable enough to ask for by name 2.5 years later:)

My old AC started to act up in the middle of summer during a heat wave. Called a few places for quotes for a new one, given the repair on my old AC didn’t last long. Calum came over to give me options and quotes. He was upfront and told me that out of the other company that had already given me a quote, he would be more expensive. I could have easily gone with the cheaper company, but it came down to trust.

Calum was super professional, explained everything in detail and was very responsive…also a funny guy! For those reasons I went with Enercare. Calum was able to schedule an install for the following days (I didn’t expect it to be that quick).

Overall, pretty happy with the services and would recommend to friends and family. Be sure to have Calum go over!

Norm Rollin, a technician from the Ottawa location, came to my home to perform maintenance on my A/C unit and was very professional and gave me very good pointers how I could save money on my heating and cooling bill. I recommend this person anytime and I hope to get him for future maintenance.

First of all, beware of this company. They hire people to delete low rating review and boost up with fake good reviews. This company is basically a liar. They use their water heater rental service, they double charged us for 5 months for no reason. Their representative did nothing to solve the issue and just point you to another representative again and again like a looping game. If you have new house installed a water tank from them, please make sure to get ride of it as the first thing, otherwise you are going to suffer from their bad service.

If you need a Senior Service Technician for your AC, ask for Bryan McDonald. He is amazing! He took the time to sort out billing anomalies, saved me $$$$ by explaining and clarifying the processes of buying vs rental equipment. It could be very confusing to read and understand it all. He was awesome!

Our A/C gave out on us at the end of this season. Enercare sales rep Callum was awesome. Came out the next day to see us and explain everything about our options to get a new unit. He even arranged the crew for the install (a fantastic team indeed; thanks so much Jaime and Jeff). Callum even dropped by on the installation date to make sure everything was going well and followed up the next day by phone. Great service and attention to detail. Highly recommend

My technician was Bryan MacDonald from Enercare. He showed up on time for our scheduled appointment and gave me a call to let me know he was on his way. He wore boot covers and was quick to resolve the issue with the tankless water heater. He also took time to proactively make some adjustments to the settings of the unit (which the builder/installer did not do) to improve its performance. He was polite and friendly - I would recommend his service.

Our experience with the Thurston Drive branch of Enercare exceeded all of our expectations this past week. Firstly David Bugnet, Energy Management Consultant, assisted us in choosing a new Carrier furnace and air conditioner to perfectly suit our needs. Mr. Bugnet was knowledgeable, precise and attentive in all our dealings to purchase the right products at a very affordable cost. Claude Goldberger and I (Terry) thank him for his friendly, prompt and helpful assistance throughout this process. He went beyond the call of duty to please us, and we appreciate everything he did very much. We also commend the installation crew for a seamless and professional experience on October 25TH. They did a super great job. We are sure to recommend Enercare to everyone who will listen in the future as evidenced by our writing this review from my sister's Gmail because we don't have an account at our house. He was here shortly after the phone call and was very fast and efficient.

I have spoken with multiple Enercare agents within the last week and prior to update my account to the correct information and property. Each Enercare agent with whom I spoke provided different information, and no one confidently old me how to do this or reassuringly convinced me that they were taking care of my request. In fact, one Enercare agent told me to contact Enbridge. Of course after speaking Enbridge they were naturally baffled, and referred me back to Enercare. To this point, my account still has not been corrected and I am uncertain whether it will be. Part of the issue is the accountability to the client, especially given that customer service is largely based in the Philippines and other countries outside of Canada, coupled with the poor training of agents. This issue should be taken more seriously, and individuals should be respected and their wasted!

I've been an Enercare customer since 2016 and I’ve always been satisfied, until my yearly maintenance appointment this year. The technician assigned to me this year was Dylan. At my first appointment, he pointed out some necessary repairs and adjustments, which were made in a timely manner. Other than the repairs, he did not indicate that there were other issues with the furnace. The technician who came to the follow-up appointment and inspection found everything to be satisfactory, and having double-checked the data from Dylan’s visit on his iPad, assured me that all was well with the furnace. You can imagine my surprise when I received Dylan’s report the next day, only to see the extremely low score he had given my heating equipment. Based on our conversation, he has not given a satisfactory explanation for why he rates the general condition of the furnace as poor. In fact, our entire conversation led me to believe that the furnace was in satisfactory condition. Furthermore, the report is entirely inconsistent with the report for the same furnace from last year. I find it difficult to believe that the furnace’s condition could have deteriorated that much in just a year. If that is indeed the case, I would have expected a professional technician to convey that in person during the appointment, rather than being blindsided and receiving a report with new information, which in fact recommends changing the furnace. Looking back on the appointment, Dylan seemed too distracted by other details to address the actual condition of the furnace with me. I am disappointed by his lack of communication and his overzealousness seems suspicious.

Called enercare yesterday night around 1130 and thankfully they were able to send a technician today between 3 and 7. The technician, Norm, was amazing! He tried to call when he was on his way but they wrote my number down wrong but he showed up early which was great! He was very professional and had the repair to my burnt gas valve on my water heater done in 40 minutes! Thanks again!

I called Enercare due to hot water tank showing an error and not heating the water. I was told a technician would should up in the next 3 to 7 hours. Technician Abdi Abdallah arrived 3 hours after making the original call to Enercare. He was very friendly and professional and resolved the issue in a timely manner. He addressed my questions and concerns that I had about the water tank and offered advice. I had a very pleasant experience with Abdi and would recommend him as a service technician to my family and friends.

My appointment was changed unilaterally: from AM 0800-1200 to 1200-1600, ONE day before the appointment, 20 mins before end of business day. I had planned my morning off work WEEKS in advance. I tried to call back to cancel my appointment but no answer. Terrible service. Zero consideration for custommers.

I have purchased two previous furnaces (rental properties) from Enercare. Both times I have had Mark Clatney as my salesman. He has been excellent to deal with for the furnaces so I called him again for AC at my home. He showed me all my options and made suggestions. The price was right as were the optional services he suggested and provided. I will be needing a new furnace at my home in a few years and will definitely call Mark at Enercare again.

I’ve had an account with Enercare for several years and today our furnace was inspected by Terry whom I believe works out of Enercare’s Thurston Rd offices. He was very professional and explained some details about furnaces as well as informing me about duct cleaning and how often it should be done. Called on Sunday night about our badly leaking hot water tank and received excellent response right way. Prompt attention and great technicians: Ryan first, then Dylan and Simon to replace the old tank. They all did their jobs very professionally, cleanly and respecting the covid protocols. Relieved to have hot water again less than 48 hours after our initial call!

Mr. Simon Henrie, the technician came as scheduled time. He let me know his arrival time. Before inspected the equipment, he asked several important question regarding the equipment. He inspected the unit, check all functionality of the equipment, showed me the result of the evaluation and made recommendation for duct cleaning. Mr. Simon Henrie is very capable with the work he did, showed excellent communication with the customer. I am satisfied with his service.

I had my hot water tank replaced by enercare. Although most of the installation went well the plumbing workmanship is extremely poor. Instead of replacing a 12 inch piece of copper they replaced only 6 inches and soldered a second connector beside another and left a green 90 degree connector. Still charged me full price though. Even the venting wasn't sealed at wall. Again workmanship is poor. Even the lead guy let it go. I would never have let that go. I also completed your survey and asked for a call back and have yet to receive one. Not cool Enercare. Two thumbs down. I will be reviewing all my services even though I have been a customer for 20+ years now.
