I had an outstanding inspector named Carter. He was very patient and kind while explaining everything that the inspection covered. He took his time and made sure I understood what was required of me on my end. He was a great conversationalist. I would like to request him for my second inspection after installation. His employers are lucky to have such a well informed employee. He even offered to help me with a computer issue. The world needs more people like this young gentleman. ️️️️️

We had Karl come complete a home energy assessment for window replacement. He was very professional, efficient and explained in great detail the Canada Greener Homes Grant! We would highly recommend Energuy!

Straightforward process - easy to book, they demystified the whole process, handling all paperwork, etc. Really appreciated Mo (Mohammad A) and his kind, professional and helpful approach.

So they were called by reliance to do the audit. Everything with them went well and yes very helpful on the phone but if your waiting for the rebate check it is 10 months wait not 2 or 3 like we were told

You may be able to get Energyguy to your house quickly for your first assessment, but beware, you will have to wait 4-6 weeks for a report, then three months for a followup to get them to come back to take pictures of the work and submit your claim for the rebate.

Carter did a great job. Fast, efficient and answered all my questions. Highly recommended!

Oz came to our newly purchased “vintage’ home in Victoria, BC to perform the first audit. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and clearly explained the energy audit steps and grant process.
Hope to have him come and do the final review when our upgrades are finished.

Excellent company. The consultant arrived on time did all the measurements and the report was there next day. Very pleasant to deal with. Following post audit installation again dot on time and did all the measurements. The consultant guided how to apply and walk you through every step. In my case there was a mix-up with another person in NRC nobody's fault. The company spent lot of effort in fixing up somebody else's problem it took more time, but they managed to sort out the problem. Denzil was extremely helpful, patient, very kind, put lot of effort to sort out the issues, finally the application was complete waiting for the final approval of the amount. Jonathon, the consultant is super friendly, knowledgeable. He is very efficient, very helpful. Just follow the instructions of the consultant and reach out to the company you will have no problem. I strongly recommend.

Tristan was easy to talk to, professional, punctual and thorough in his work. Very pleased with the service we received. Would recommend.

The EnerGuy call staff were very helpful, and Craig was an excellent evaluator. He was considerate, helpful, and thorough.
My only complaint is that the delay between receiving the final report and it being posted on the government website can be very long. We have waited weeks for it to happen now, which has delayed us receiving both our grant and loan for a large amount of money we had to borrow to pay. While the company is clear that they can take up to 30 days to post the report, it makes no sense that a technician can produce the report in a day or two but the company can’t post it to an account in several weeks.

Scam artists at the highest level. They make all the promises in the world tell you you’re going to get upwards of $6000 government funded rebates with all the documentation stating so. They then turn around and put all the responsibility on the home and tell me that I have not done this properly and I could units for HVAC and windows that we did are incorrect and don’t qualify. Even though during the pre and post evaluations promises were made.

So now $600 of my hard earn money is filling the pockets of these scammers. There needs to be another way to receive the rebates without going through this joke of the company.

I hope everyone reads this and understand that the people that I mentioned are only out to get your money and your personal information.

Legal investigation needed.

And if you are the company meeting this, don’t bother, explaining yourself through the comments and trying to justify absolutely atrocious customer service.

The actual pre and post audit inspectors were awesome. No complaints about those guys and appreciated the time they spent to go over some of their observations with me about areas where air leakage was occuring to target fixing. 5 stars to them.

Getting the post audit and report however from their office has been extremely frustrating. On top of having to wait more than 3 weeks for the appointment from when I called to schedule it, it has now been 30d from the post audit with no report yet in sight. Due to this I am still unable to even ask to get the CGH loan paid out. I understand the demand for this service is high but this is far slower than communicated even when calling weekly and hearing that my case is "prioritized".

The audit went smoothly and was extremely interesting. Miller was professional, friendly and clearly knew what he was about. He kept me informed every step of the way without wasting time. I was extremely impressed.

Great service, great detailed answers. When Arjun said he was going to send me an answer on a small, unrelated question, I took it as one of those off the cuff responses. Amazingly I got a text the next day with an answer to my question. I was extremly impressed.

Home Energy evaluation, done within time estimated. No issues or problems during the process. All good, and the person that did it, explained clearly all.

Great service, the tech (Karl) was very knowledgeable and fielded all of our questions well.
