My partner and I did custom engagement rings with Ji, and they both came out PERFECT. Considering how custom our rings were, they did have to go a different route in the ring journey from scratch to finish. They're incredible listeners and truly give you creative power in the designs, and they have smart inputs too.

Just beware if you're going the custom design route, it'll take time. For reference, we paid our first instalment at the last week of Sep 2022, my partner's ring was done before Christmas, and mine was done in the first week of Feb 2023. The wait is WORTH it. This is something you can't rush and Engage Studio did a beautiful job at making our vision a reality. We highly recommend them for your jewelry design needs <3

I was recommended Engage studio by a friend of mine. I could not be happier. Ji is intuitive and listens well to what you want in order to create the best product. He was able to incorporate a gemstone I received from my grandmother into my new piece. With this experience, I would not hesitate to reach out to Ji again for any further jewellery.
By the way, my ring was not an engagement ring or wedding ring, and most reviews are on those items. However, not once did I feel like my ring was of lesser importance or took a back seat to other clients. It was a simple ring (in my mind) that Engage studio executed beautifully.

My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Engage Studio. We had some reservations because we're in Montreal, so we didn't have time to see or try on the different rings in Toronto before picking our wedding bands, and yet the team did such a fantastic job! Mariam was just awesome, she was able to see the vision that we wanted. They sent a photoshopped picture of what it would look like, and it just went sooo well! Not sure why this place is a 5 star. Booked a meeting and sent the custom design we wanted, was asked to come in to see options in shop which turned out to be a waste of time because they didn't have anything to show us in shop (none of the design were even close so why ask us to come in?). During this in-person meeting they couldn't even provide an estimate, when I asked for one the individual in the shop said that that they were not knowledgeable about pricing so this was going to be discussed in the third meeting (!). At this point a third meeting was set-up over the phone to discuss estimate. Over the phone they told us they will email us an estimate. 4 days have passed since the third meeting and no estimate has been sent to us.

Staff and owner are so friendly! They take the time to explain everything and are very helpful. Highly recommend. We got the engagement ring and both wedding bands from here.

I have the ring of my dreams thanks to my wonderful fiancé and the folks at Engage Studio! Everything about this ring is immaculate, and as a stickler for details, they got everything right and more. Ji and Mariam's knowledge and passion were evident in every meeting, and were the clear choice after meeting with several studios.

There were a few bumps in the process - with it being one of the busiest seasons for engagements and weddings, and with their team expansion, there were some natural growing pains and sometimes things didn't go exactly as we expected. However once we voiced our concerns, they made sure to make us feel heard and cared for, and really took their time to make us feel that they were just as invested as us in the process, and I'm so appreciative for that. Would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a ring!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Working with Mariam was an absolute delight. Her energy is amazing. I didn't know exactly what I wanted beyond the idea and she created a safe space to discuss concepts and let the creativity flow. Engage Studio was quick to reply to questions and efficient with appointment scheduling as we navigated through to the final product. Pricing was transparent. I cannot wait to work on future jewelry projects again!

Ji was very kind and helpful right from the very beginning. He made the process seem easy and efficient. He really went out of his way to help me find what I wanted. And the end product turned out to be absolutely beautiful! Would highly recommend!

I went to so many stores before and after Engage. They were all good, but not one had the level of service, honesty and transparency as Engage. Ji asked me my budget and worked within it. He asked for my specifications and together, we designed a ring. He even had me examine several diamonds within my budget under several different lightings and even had me check them out under a microscope! I picked the one I loved the most, a beautiful hearts and arrows ideal cut diamond (I didn’t know what hearts and arrows in a diamond cut were until Ji explained it to me). The whole process took a couple of weeks, all the while I pretended to still go diamond shopping to look for a reasonably priced ring.

And the price! I thought getting a personalized ring would be more expensive than a big box store. Trust me when I tell you though the big name stores had similar rings, none were as high quality and beautiful at the price I paid. In fact, the big box stores were more expensive (probably because Engage are distributors and the big box stores buy off distributors and mark up the price).

I cannot recommend Engage enough. Thanks Ji and team!

After Ji made our wedding rings, I went to him when I wanted a custom emerald ring. He was incredibly easy to work with, a great guide and very professional. My new ring is gorgeous and I won't work with anyone else for the next few pieces I have in mind.

Great location for jewelry! I had no idea what I was doing when purchasing an engagement ring but Mariam and her staff were so knowledgeable. They made the process super easy inspite of lock down conditions.

A beautiful open selection of different ring types, cuts, styles. You're able to handle the rings and pick a selection to talk to a rep about. They ask in detail on what you're looking for and found them to be very professional and attentive.

I was referred to Engage Studio by a friend and at first I was hesitant about the idea of a custom ring. I thought cost would be a big factor for me to never achieve my dream ring for my partner. However, when I had my first consultation with Ji the rest was history! Ji and team were ABSOLUTELY welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I had ZERO knowledge diamond cuts, stone options, customization options etc and I came out of this experience as an expert thanks to their guidance and expertise. The design was great and the actually piece came out way better than I expected. Every thing is hand made which adds the extra TLC to make it perfect. During the beginning of the pandemic, we had virtual consultations which were VERY informative and creative. Right upfront, they asked me what my budget was and made me feel very comfortable about what I had set aside for the ring. It set the tone, telling me that they value the client over anything else.
After they learned about what I valued in a diamond, they were able to source one that was actually better than I imagined. Post-engagement, my fiancée was also shocked that the diamond was better than what she imagined!

Once the diamond was selected, the ring design process was fun and stress-free. They were very responsive as we went back and forth on some drafts. If I wanted to run an idea by them, they were happy to talk and provide me opinions. If I wanted to make an addition or change something in the design, they were very understanding and did it beautifully for me.

All in all, it was a wonderful process to have the Engage team behind me.
