I did UCTP program at ESC and it was the worst nightmare and the worst experience in Canada. The teacher was so rude, she would treat students older than her as they were in elementary level or as high school students. More than once, I’ve seen my classmates crying because of the pressure she would put on them. All her excuses were “because in college it is like this”. NO IT IS NOT. I have finished my college degree now and it is not even close to what she would do with us. She literally asked for impossible tasks or I’d say it was more similar with Masters level, and not for people who recently arrived in a different country trying to make their English better. Example: writing pages and pages for the next day; Interviewing people and making reports with a due date for 2 day after. I quit the program after 1 and a half months because it was terrible and unfortunately I lost all my money (which is not cheap at all). I don’t recommend this school for anyone who asks my opinion about where to study in Toronto. I have studied in another English school in the past, and so far, ESC was garbage if compared. Luckily, I have found another way to get into college afterwards, and I didn’t need their certificate.

The school try hard to serve good quality due to Covid. I experienced three teachers in this school, and all of them are really good!

ESC is a great school, and it has excellent teachers. I think all the classes I took helped me to improve my skills. Also, I was able to achieve all my goals by taking these classes. I strongly recommend taking IELTS Preparation, Focus on Writing and UCTP classes.

I met interesting people, including teachers and administrative staff, who are so professional and passionate about their work that my level of English has gone up to incredible levels.
I highly recommend this school and express my appreciation!

I have learned a lot at ESC. I recently took Focus on English again to refresh my writing skills; I took this class two years earlier.

Although I have learned English in many years, I have not met a teacher like Robert. What I mean is that he is ready to give answers that his students might have. I learned to be a responsible writer. Specifically, I consider the word choice, grammar, punctuation, structure, capitalization and spelling when I write any writing.

I cannot say that this course is full of joy only. Nonetheless, Rober entertains students with his witty jokes during the class; this is a demanding and challenging course. However, I must say that it worths taking it. I have improved my writing class while wrestling in his class.

I know that learning English is like an endless quest, but I have become confident in writing an essay thanks to FoW. I strongly recommend this course for students who desire to develop their writing skills. You are going to love this course.

I’ve been studying at ESC twice, and I took face-to-face lessons and online lessons. Both of them were high quality lessons. I’d highly recommend the ESC pathway program if you want to enter the college or university. The teachers are professional, friendly, and kind. They always try to give student a lot of useful information. I met many great people, fantastic teachers, and made countless new friends. Most importantly, my English improved by leaps and bounds, and I was able to further my goals far more than I expected. I can’t thank them enough for the amazing time I had.

Here is excellent English school in Toronto! There are high quality of courses and competent teachers in the class:) Especially, English writing class, Focus on Writing, is useful for international student. That class teacher is so kind, and strongly encourage student to improve the skill. Also, the class for college and university, UCTP, is memorable and valuable course for most student. This course make the student comfortable for college and university, and the student have greatly improved their abilities with this courses curriculum.

Had a really nice experience with ESC. The teachers and organizators are professionals, lessons are interesting, well-structured and instructive. Recommend

My UCTP teacher was great. All the students studied very hard and participated in the lesson intensively without taking a break. There was a good sense of tension and I was able to concentrate on the lessons. I am happy that I was able to take very high quality classes even after my classes went online. It was fun that my teacher and my class could study together on the screen. UCTP was very difficult but good for me. There were some nights that I couldn’t sleep but UCTP made me stronger and more confident in my English ability. I think it's a great course for those who wish to live in a foreign country.

I still have a lot to learn but UCTP was a course that taught me the importance of learning and inspired me to study more. Thank you so much and I miss my class mates!

I took UCTP prep for one month on online. It was a great opportunity to speak to people from many countries in English. My UCTP prep teacher was nice. Her explanation was easy to understand. Assignments in this class were hard for me. However, I felt it was worthwhile after I finished the assignment. 　

The counselor who can speak Japanese is good. He helps me a lot. ️

If you want to study English, I recommend ESC.

The worst experience I had in Canada, I was mistreated and prevented from attending classes, it was necessary to change to ILSC after suffering xenophobia.
