Enhanced Care Clinic - Aurora Walk-in Family Doctor Clinic

My recent visit as a walk in clinic patient was a very pleasant experience. Friendly staff, a fairly short wait time and a competent doctor saw me.

I came in around 11: 30. Was told I’d be waiting approximately 30 minutes, multiple people ahead of me were told they’d be seen within 15 minutes. I have waited outside for nearly 2 hours and every time I call to ask about how many people are ahead, the number is getting higher and higher. You should be closed sundays if you cannot handle properly caring for your patients. Absolutely ridiculous and by the time they will call me to come in, you will be closed. I will never come to this walk in clinic again.

Dr. Naila Siraj gave a wrong diagnosis for almost a year and wasted so much time, which lead to complications. Now I cannot turn back time to fix all the problems that she has caused by her delays and lack of knowledge. How did she even get her degree.
Dr. Siraj ruined my life, avoid her at all costs!

Horrific service here. Every receptionist is extremely rude. Snatched my intake form from me. She could clearly see I was distressed and she added to it.

Appalling place. Rude, unorganized and unprofessional front desk staff - especially Matthew. Please don’t go here if you care about yourself or your family. You won’t even be treated like a second class citizen, you will be treated as if you’re not even human.

Bad place for walk-in, waiting over 2 hours at the end gave up waiting.they keep telling you soon and people, This is a worse place to go I rather go wait in ER.

Dr. Ma is excellent. He listens, thinks outside the box, and uses many modalities to take care of issues! Highly recommend him!

Great doctors, some receptionists are very impatient.

Pharmacy would improve greatly if sold hot wheels and small fidget toys, all would be under 3$ and desperate parents can soothe their scared kids.many times I saw this opportunity being missed.

Doctor Samarasingh is amazing but the office administration is extremely disappointing. Very poor communication and lack professional etiquette.

Not sure why it says they are open till 8? When we arrived at 7.they turned us away despite the clinic not being busy. Super frustrating.

Went to Enhanced Care Clinic to get my elderly Aunt's ears flushed. When I got there, there were about 14 people in front of us. Not to worry as they have a system where they can text you about 20 min before you're appointment (so that you're not waiting around).
Dr. Youssef was very kind and took the time to sign some forms for us and tend to my aunt very thoroughly. We will be going again Thursday morning for a follow up.

Almost criminal! Grandson is sick and they do not have the medication he needs (that’s fine). Another local pharmacy has the medication and they are either refusing to send the prescription to the pharmacy that has it or are incredibly incompetent. Take your choice. How would you like it if someone was doing this to your kid?

I suggest these people find another vocation because they horribly incapable of doing this job!

I suggest you just drive past this place because there is nothing “enhanced” about it except incompetence!

When I went in for a tuberculosis check for the job i'm at they told me i'd be with the doctor in about 15 minutes. I waited for 2 hours for the doctor to look at my arm for 10 seconds. For you're own sake don't go to this location unless you want to wait absurd amount of time.

I think this office has been abandoned. I have an issue with medications I can't get filled that a doctor prescribed from that clinic and I haven't gotten a call back in a week and a half. Deplorable.

Walk-in times are worse than Southlake. Also, it's not first come first served. They play favorites.

Brought my 3 month old sick daughter there at 7pm the sign said they close at 8pm. When we went in we were told that the walk in was closed despite the hours being 9am-8pm. I asked if I could see a Dr for my sick baby they refused despite one being on staff when I asked and no one in the waiting room. They told us to come back tomorrow. We got her into her Dr in the morning she told us to take her to emerge. She had RSV, her blood oxygen level was below 91 when we got her in. The Dr's told us if we hadn't brought her in when we did she might have died. This so called "walk in clinic" could have cost my daughter her life. No one and I mean no one should ever go here! The government should investigate ownership and staff because they are clearly not Canadian and clearly not competent. I cannot even express in words how disgusted I am with this place. If you dont want to do "walk in" past 7pm dont have your hours 9am-8pm if you do you sure shouldnt be denying tax paying Canadians from seeing a Dr for a clearly sick little girl.

My mother is awaiting results to confirm breast cancer and they haven't returned her call in 2 days. Absolutely disgusting

I am forced to give this clinic 1 star but I don't mean it.
I am a patient at the Aurora East clinic so when my husband was looking for a new family doctor I sent him the notice that they were accepting new patients at both Aurora locations. As directed, he filled out a request for a new patient appointment and received an email confirming one with a certain doctor today at the Yonge Street clinic. When he arrived for the appointment this doctor was not there nor is he taking patients nor there was there any record of this appointment. How could you trust your healthcare to such an organization? !

I am apart of a hospital program requiring constant monitoring. Super busy they said they would send me a message when to return. I returned to the clinic and waited another 2 hours with patients who came in after me seeing the doctor first. The doctor wrote down my BP etc.and told me he would type and print it for me. They proceeded to charge me $22 dollars for the form. I have been to the doctors monthly for over a year and have never been charged for something like this.

I have been going to this clinic for many years and so has my family. We see Dr. Siraj. She brings so much calm to our life. Yes the clinic is busy but they are doing to best they can with the flu season, covid, and staff shortages. I love that I can now book an appointment online and get text reminders about my appointment. I also use their pharmacy and see the allergist, Dr. Kajani. I love that there are so many services at one place. A place I trust.

The doctors are not the issue for me, it is the terrible reception area. They never answer the phone. I would like to get my x-ray results for injured ribs and will have to drive over to the office, line up and ask. All while in pain.

I have continually had the worst experience with this doctor's office reception. My son had broken his finger and I needed to book an appointment to get a referral to a specialist and for an entire week I was not able to get an appointment with my pediatrician or with the walk in on the phone or in person in order to get a Referral sent to a specialist that I had arranged for myself. I visited them twice in person, sent Multiple emails and called dozens of times and yet to no Avail. Again, I recently had an appointment for a physical for my son, took the day off From work, Took my child out of school, And when I got there they said my appointment had been canceled, And that somebody should have contacted me for it. Despite them having my email address and Phone number, I was not contacted at all. I am so angry and frustrated that there is no other way to reach my doctor other than through the reception which is absolutely useless!

This place just charged me $4.00 for 2 masks, because we forgot to bring some. As someone who works in the medical field, a box of 50 masks is 4$. This place is so brutal.

While i have to continue going here because my family doctor of many years practices here, i cannot deny the continuous errors the front desk staff have made. I should have 2 pharmacies on file with them as i am a university student who goes elsewhere during the school year. There has been errors with sending my prescriptions before but lately it’s been worse. 3 times since May 2022 my prescriptions have been sent to the wrong pharmacy leading to a mess of the pharmacies having to transfer prescriptions to another. The first 2 times i told my doctor which of the pharmacies the prescription was getting sent to and I was assured a note would be included with my prescriptions. They of course were sent to the incorrect pharmacy. The 3rd time following my appointment i called the front desk myself and told the staff member who answered exactly where it needed to be sent and that the previous times it had been sent incorrectly. Once again it was sent to the wrong place. At this point i just don’t know what to do anymore as nothing I do seems to change what happens.

Less than one star. Terrible, unprofessional service. I have back pain and asked Dr Famodimu for a referral for MRI. Instead he recommended that I take a pain killer without seeing me or even questioning further my symptoms. What kind of medical service is this?

Horrible place for patients, I was suffering from soar throat and couldn’t swallow anything and call this clinic and book an appointment, despite all restrictions are lifted the doctors just accept patients by phone and after contacting me doctor said its not infection and no meds needed but since I couldn’t tolerate the pain I went to another clinic in person and the doctor prescribed antibiotics confirming my ears and throat is infected

This clinic posts hours open until 3 on Sunday, yet twice when we have tried to go and arrived by two we were told very abruptly and rudely by the receptionist that the doctor was not seeing anyone further, yet the waiting room was completely empty with an hour left until close. The receptionist should not be dealing with the public is their first issue as she lacks customer service skills and didn't even attempt to find out why we there and see if a doctor would see us. Secondly shame on the doctor for misleading people that this clinic was open until 3, you are in health care to take care of health issues so perhaps re-evaluate how people are treated upon entering this clinic and either see patients or please hire doctors that want to do their job as clearly the doctors at this location don't
In light of all the negative reviews this clinic has I strongly suggest they get rid of all current staff and start fresh, its truly disgusting to treat anyone seeking medical attention this way

Another example of broken Canadian healthcare system. They treat you like it’s a charity service. Nobody doesn’t care. It’s all a business

Worst service at the front desk. I had an appointment at 1 PM and I didn’t see the doctor till 1: 45PM.

DO NOT GO HERE. We’ve been twice with our 16 month old and they refused to see her both times. We went yesterday and were told it would take 1hr to get a DR on the phone. We received a phone call 20 secs later and the DR immediately says they can’t see her because she needs COViD test. We went to hospital and were told they don’t do regular COVID testing anymore. This clinic is either misinformed, negligent, or both. Knowing they wouldn’t see her, they called immediately and likely claimed the DR visit fee from OHIP. Save you and your family’s health and go anywhere but here.

Poor reception service offered at the this clinic. I called the Aurora East clinic and noone ever pick up the phone. So then I tried my on line booking on their web site but came back by e mail asking me to rebook again at a specific time. I replied to the e mail asked her if she can rebook for me but she turned me down. Asked me to go through the web site again. But web site only has a time slot which makes it difficult for me. This is only a few small booking request and it should not be that difficult. This went back and forth for several times. Very unacceptable service.

My boyfriend went to get meds for his on going problem with strep throat. It’s something he’s very prone to getting and something he struggles with a lot. Instead of listening to his throat the doctor on the phone with his was rude and sarcastic and diagnosed him over the phone with COVID. He has not shown any COVID symptoms other then a sore throat and cough but do you know what that overlaps with? Strep throat. Very disappointed at the lack of professionalism in this establishment

Please avoid this clinic.
They have a very bad services.
They lost my daughter's ultrasound and blood work results.
The receptionist never answers the calls you always need to leave a voice message which in most of the time is not returned.

So my son, daughter and I are patients of a doctor at the Beeton clinic / practice. We were referred to and had a phone appointment on Wednesday with a paediatrician out of this aurora office and never was called. Waited for 4 hours 15 minutes no call, so I called and left a message with you and with Beeton. It is going on almost 48 hours since I called and left a message and over 48 hours since the appointment that didn’t happen because I didn’t get a call. I have called multiple times, my husband has and nothing.hoping this gets your attention. Please call

Do not recommend this clinic. I have sinus problem and the doctors refused see me and they only did phone calls even I am fully vaccinate and wasn't any covid-19 symptoms. Unprofessional center and doctors.
Finally I was trying out other walking clinic which accepts the patients and they helped me out.

After reading other reviews, there seem to be several that comment on how the doctor wouldn’t look at their ear thoroughly despite the patients symptoms. I’ll add another.

I went in today (just as a walk-in, have a family doctor) due to some severe pain in my left ear which I thought could be an ear infection. I was told the doctor would not see me in person and would call me. Our phone call consisted of me explaining my symptoms and her explaining I probably had fluid buildup due to recent congestion. She recommended Advil and a prescription for a nasal spray. I was content but wished they would just take the moment it would take to look in my ear to see what the problem was. I ended up going to another clinic in Aurora for a second opinion. I was seen by a doctor within 5 minutes, she looked in my ear and it took literally 2 seconds for her to declare “Oh yes, it’s very infected”.

It’s not the misdiagnosis that bothers me. It’s the fact that they wouldn’t do the simplest check on an easily diagnosed issue. As mentioned, it took the other clinic no time at all to diagnose the real issue just by simply looking in my ear. It’s bad practice and seems to be a common issue. I highly recommend checking out the Allaura Medical Center for a better experience.

A doctor in this clinic refused to see me in person even though I had a negative covid test result while I had infection in my ear. I missed their phone calls and called the clinic again but they did not call me back and after going to the clinic three times were not able to get visited. I finally went to Newmarket Southlake walking clinic and Dr. Bell immediately visited me and prescribed me antibiotic. I am very thankful to him but had very bad experience with this clinic. Also the staff were very rude.

I am very satisfied with my care team and the pharmacy at Enhanced Care Aurora. Reception staff are responsive, in person, by phone and email. I always feel I get the accommodations that I require and never feel like a burden!

I've been in this clinic yesterday.
Dr. Jaber saw me and he was absolutely great, sensitive and very professional. The nurse worked
her magic on my ear that was blocked and drive me crazy for 3 days. I felt a huge relief. Got to write that it was after a traumatic treatment I got in the Oak ridge walk in clinic. Thank you so much to the great doctor and nurse which I don't know her name but she was very professional and helpful.

Unprofessional reception. I called before arrival to confirm that they still take walk in patients for the day and was assured yes. It was 2h 40min before clinic closes, when arrived 20 min later wasn't able to see doctor. He stopped taking walk ins right before I arrived. Asks reception to talk to him as she told me earlier to come, she dismissed me. Said just come tomorrow. This happened last year as well, so I won't be going there anymore.

I just transferred my two daughters and myself to Enhanced Care Aurora under the care if Dr. Manek about 6 months ago and my experience with the whole staff has been so unexpectedly extraordinary.

All 3 of us have received thwe warmest welcome from the reception staff. As special thank you to Sarah who always greets me with utmost respect and no matter what we need, all our health concerns are addressed quickly and with care

Dr. Manek is very caring by providing a tremendous amount of support and offers solutions while addressing all areas right down to every bit of detail of my health concerns.

Under these especially difficult and restricted times with COVID, the doctor has coordinated phones calls if coming to the clinic was not ideal.one time Dr. Manek was not in and the * on - call* doctor was prompt and helpful and

They do their best to stay on time. Caring and courteous staff and a team of physicians always at the ready. They are a very good choice for a family doctor and have access to specialists that rotate across their sites. It's a very positive environment here.

Very poor service. The assistants are unprofessional, the Doctor does not care much about patients.the service is transactional with no care or regards to patients.

Just keeps getting worse and worse. The staff always try to get a few extra tests in just to make a little bit more money and wont give you more than one months worth of prescription (another visit since they're paid by commission). Just a terrible doctors office now. Changed to another doctor after constantly bad service/greedy staff here and can actually get 6 months worth of prescriptions again.

Great clinic. Srayed open for in person visits which is great in these times where most clinics are phone only. Dr. Jaber is an amazing doctor who is very knowledgeable and kind. No metter what the issue is he is non judemental and always listens and makes you feel safe and reassured. Dr Hussain who is my family doctor is equally amazing if not a little more.lol. She really takes the time to understand her patients and what their needs are and wont let you leave until you understand what the condition is and you are satisfied and reassured. She is very knowledgeable and caring and when one is not in the clinic you can see the other and receive the same level of care. Its a 25 min drive for me but that is peanuts compared to the level of care. They work out of both Beeton and Aurora and switching family doctors is absolutely the best decision made.
Must add Nurse Pauline is amazing as well and super friendly. She does my weekly allergy shot and is always friendly and great to chat with and skilled at her profession.
One last thing. The front desk staff are also equally as patient and friendly. Enhanced care clinics are the best. I highly recommend them.

I don't understand where these good reviews are coming from. We've been with this clinic since 2008 (our bad for staying so long with them), and it's been getting worse and worse. With the COVID situation, it's now an utter mess. From the poor, inefficient and ill-mannered customer service (staff behind the desk keep on changing and rarely know what's going on, referrals take forever to go out the door), to the many mix-ups (e.g. Dr calling my wife for follow-up instead of me, incorrect vaccination reports, incorrect mailing address that never get updated, etc.), to the expeditious doctors with zero patience (since when being seen by a Doctor "quickly", as I've seen in another post, is a measure of efficiency and diagnostic accuracy?), you just feel like you're a number and nobody really cares. I'm going to stop right there because I could go on and on. Have fun with this clinic if you decide to check it out.

The staff at clinic and pharmacy really have been amazing for my dad. Where I would expect slowness and red tape, they have always gone above and beyond to look after us crazy fast. This goes for helping us with appointments to filling prescriptions. Burton and his team are amazing and truly are my partners in helping me ensure my dad is looked after. I'd go nuts if I didn't have such a great group of people helping me with everything. Thank you everyone for being awesome!

I regreted going to this clinic, When I call and told I had bited by a dog, and ask for a rabies vaccine shot. Then drive there. The front receptionist want us fill form, after see doctor, he told us that he have no right to inject rabies vaccine. This cost us $120 and another health card visiting pay.
Not strongly recommend to this clinic.

Great secretary service! Dr's r hit n miss. Dr Fam in Aurora i would avoid tho! He expects u to diagnose urself n tell him what u want done about it.and unethical in his treatment of patients.

I did a urine test at this location. Customer service was great. It's been two weeks since I gave the sample but still waiting for their call which they promised they will call once the results become available.

I regret switching pharmacies. I also dread going in to fill my prescription because the pharmacy tech is always miserable and never friendly. She’s also very dismissive. The Pharmacist is really nice.

I have been a patient at this clinic for 5 years. All the staff have been wonderful, friendly, professional & efficient. I can get an appointment in a timely matter and the waiting times to see my doctor are usually short. Good job everyone! Thank you.

Not the best clinic to go to in this area. I've had a few appointments missed during quarantine. When i have gone in previously, I felt the doctors I dealt with were dismissive and only see you for about 2 mins. Definitely wouldn't recommend this clinic

Great doctors but one of the secretaries there isn't very friendly which makes for an unpleasant visit.

After driving across town the other day to come to this walk in as it was the only one open till 5. We were greeted at the door by a nurse leaving and she told us the doctor had gone home and they were no longer taking patients for the day (at the time it was only 4). I work in Veterinary Medicine and I don't understand why Doctors are not held to the same standard as us. I cannot leave the clinic till we meet the close time advertised. Sad waste of gas, never going here again.

Have had multiple horrible experiences at this clinic! The doctors have misdiagnosed us on multiple occasions and seem to have a general dismissive nature. I never felt like my issues were being treated seriously and on top of that the wait is always horrendous! Will NEVER return and would not recommend to anyone in need of real, trustworthy medical help!

and hardly we get the work done I don't know if there's manager in this place.but the way we got treated I don't think there's any manager.

I booked an appt for 12 noon with my dr. When I went in, I was told it wouldn't be long as I was next on the list. At 1: 30, I was still waiting. Very disappointed with the lack of organization. I really like my dr, but the office is not even close to being efficient. The walk in traffic was moved thru efficiently but I sat there waiting. For 90 minutes. This is not acceptable.

The staff is helpful, efficient and they care. I would highly recommend switching to this clinic. Also, the indoor pharmacy is quite convenient for picking up prescriptions following an appointment. Blood-work done in the clinic is easy and the reception staff are caring. Our family doctor, Dr. Manek is great, as well as, the rest of the doctors (as we have seen quite a few of them during walk-in hours over the past couple of years). Online appointments are easy and reception always call us back to confirm date/time. Overall, I really have had a great experience at this clinic and highly recommend!

I went to the clinic on January 2,14: 05, and it's 17: 40 and I'm still waiting. What's that like? If anyone knows, please tell.

Came here at 9: 15am cuz my 2.5 year old daughter had a fever took them over 2 hours to see her and now my son needs 2 staples out of his head and we have been here for over 5 hours! ALL THE STAFF DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY WHEN THIS HAPPENS BUT SORRY.

Visited the clinic today for a check up and Sarah was helping me at the front desk. I had a pleasant experience with quick and prompt service to have a walk in appointment booked. Sarah was working alone with tones of paperwork on her desk but was able to multitask and have me see a doctor promptly.

I’ve visited enhanced care multiple times and is the only doctors office I go to cause it’s quick, convenient, and helps me keep my health in check with my busy schedule!

One of the main clinics in Aurora, lots of traffic but most of the doctors there are very efficient in seeing people quickly. There is a Tim Horton's attached to the building so if there is a long wait to see the walk-in doctor you can opt to get a text message when to come back and go for coffee in the meantime.

The parking lot is a little on the small side and since its shared with a very busy restaurant it can fill up quickly. Luckily you can park across the street in the TD plaza if there is no room available.

For older people (mainly) they also have a hearing lab and hearing tests are free, which is good because hearing aids are very expensive.
