I've rented cars from various companies in the past, but I highly recommend this branch of Enterprise if it is near. New cars and clean, staff are great and Daniella was so polite and helpful.

I have dropped off my rental car on monday when it was thanksgiving.the shop was closed so i parked the car and dropped the keys to the key box.next day (10.10.2023) they charged my credit card almost 5 days rental period without my knowlodge and i cannot reach to the customer support by phone.there is camera recording in the building and they can check easily when i returned the car but they chose not to check it and charge me as i am a late customer.this is unfair and not polite.i hope they solve this problem and cancel the charge they made to me!

I booked a car for next weekend and received a confirmation. I even already checked in online. After that I received an info, that no car is available and they need to cancel the reservation. Although I rejected, no attempt was made to get me a car. Bad customer service, will avoid this branch (and Enterprise rent a car) in future.

This used to be a go to spot for me to rent cars until it got new management. The new manager made some very concerning and Anti-Indigenous comments which promted me to part ways with the company. He said that he has no idea about Indigenous people, while laughing. When I informed him that perhaps he may want to get some Canadian history education and not make racially insensitive comments, he responded by saying "oh please, I'm from India, there's no way I could be racist'. Needless to say, it left a really bad taste in my mouth and I now rent from Budget. Ignorance and racism are not behaviors that we celebrate in Canada. His actions made me lose all respect for Enterprise and only hope that they do better and create a more inclusive environment for all people of color.

Overnight Returns here are great. But beware, their penny pitchers here. Don’t expect any free upgrade and if it’s not exactly at the same gas level, they’ll charge you. Of course when you bring it back with more gas it’s not like you get any credits. Literally a millimetre or two under what it was when I returned it ($5 max) they charge me 15$, what a joke.

Avoid and read reviews first.
I have booked a car to pick up at 200 Front St W Toronto for one day. When we get there the office told me must be at least 2 days rental. To me it is kind of scam as no such a thing explained on the phone and my confirmation booking was only for one day.

Rented cars in dozens of cities around the world but this is the best I’ve ever rented from. I’m always in and out in 10 minutes. Very accommodating, helpful and polite. Perfect communication, transparent pricing and cars in perfect condition. Can’t recommend them more. Thanks for making my life easier.

It was an awful service by phone in a toronto office, the guy who spoke with me was very despot. I tried my best speaking in english, cause im mexican, even though his english was terrible, he treat me the worst. What a pity to have workers like that.

We had a reservation for pickup at 5: 00pm, but when we showed up the place was empty and closed. Why have a pickup option for 5: 00pm if the place closes then (or if the staff leave before 5: 00pm) ? Waste of a day.

Other times it was snowing, and the car did not have a snow brush in it, and the washer fluid was empty. The car was not even washed, they just reused it for another booking without cleaning it.

Book elsewhere if you can.

Excellent experience with this branch of Enterprise for an overnight hire for a road trip to Niagara Falls while visiting from the UK.

Check in process was very simple and the insurance situation in Canada which had confused us was explained very clearly. No hard sell for upgrades at all.

The pick up from the car park was equally efficient, friendly and helpful. We were given a choice of vehicles and were very pleased with our choice, which was brand new.

The return was also simple with the same guy being keen to hear our feedback on the vehicle.

Having had some awful experiences with car hires in the past it was great to this stress free hire. Highly recommended.

Enterprise is a reliable car rental service.this location is pretty busy and has longer wait lines over weekend. Consider 30- 40 mins norm on Fri and Saturday

My wife was in Toronto last week. I am writing this reveiw on her behalf. The Manager went out of his way to help her from start to finish. He was a genuinely kind and a helpful man who imbibes the Canadian spirit unlike some poor experiences we had in Toronto!

Rented a car for the weekend, very happy with my experience. Staff was very efficient, helpful and accommodating.
Vehicle was brand new. Easy walk to Union station with our carry on in order to take the train to the airport. Would recommend.

Receptionist was welcoming and professional, explained everything we needed to know and answered all our questions, so was the other lady downstairs at the parking lot, very accommodating.their business could really use better signage though as we had a hard time looking for this place around the building.

I rented a Full size SUV yesterday to run some errands and my experience couldn't be worse.
I have been renting cars from enterprise for over 5 years in North Americas and have more than 6 months of Rental contracts with them and I can safely say this Enterprise location is the worst.
1) The front desk person refuses to rent a vehicle which I have reserved online citing weird "Document Issues" despite me producing valid Drivers licence, Credit Cards etc.
2) The other Enterprise locations give you an hour as a buffer while returning your vehicle but not this place - so eager to charge late fees - even to loyal customers.
3) Despite me returning vehicle within the allotted time period, they created an invoice 40 minutes after and charged me late Rental Return fee for late return!
I literally had to shout at them over the phone to get it waived since it was their fault for creating the invoice late.

I will never rent from this location again and advice folks to try some other Enterprise location in the city if possible.

Great customer service! I was impressed again and again by the awesome experience at this location. Like many people living in downtown Toronto, I don't own a car anymore. So come to this Enterprise often to get a car for weekend getaways or some chores around the city. Always get wonderful customer service and great cars. Strongly recommend it.

Don’t come here as a foreigner, they do not accept neither domestic nor international DL unless it’s on paper.

UPDATE: I wrote an email describing the situation, got an auto reply. “Great” customer service, guys.

I have rented a car for one day. After explicitly refusing the DW, the employee did not make me sign the agreement. At that moment, I didn't realize that I didn't sign the agreement myself and went on on my road trip.

When I checked the agreement in the email, DW was put and it was not my signature. Also, the car on the agreement does not correspond to the car I have.

Edit: the manager quickly responded and will resolve the matter tomorrow.

Edit 2: the issue was resolved.

One time, when I pickup, I was told to accept either a Chevrolet spark which isn't the vehicle I reserved for, or I can update for a better vehicle for 10 dollars. So I told the staff I did not book for a Chevrolet spark. He answered me Chevrolet spark is for the same price to the vehicle I booked for. I booked for a compact car which is not under Chevrolet Spark category on their online reservation site, while I admit they are for the same price.
The most ridiculous thing is that staff even asked me if I want a compact car but not sanitized. That's not funny at all, especially during the covid 19 outbreak.
I had always satisfied with their service before, but not that time. Finally, I paid 10 dollars for upgrade because they can't give me the vehicle I reserved for. Lately, when I was doing online reservation again, I noticed that car I got, it doesn't worth that much. 10 bucks is not a big deal, but I feel I was fooled.

Started renting from this particular location during COVID and it have always had a wonderful experience. The are probably the only location open in downtown, even on Sundays. It can be a little tricky to find the counter the first time with all the closures. But other than that, some very good folks at this location. They definitely have you covered. Highly recommend!

I just want to thank Ace, his team, and Enterprise for responding very quickly to the situation and adjusting their processes to meet our new realities. The car I got this weekend was cleaned and disinfected in front of me and I felt safe getting in and using it. The team made sure all clients respected physical distancing and the entire process felt safe and well organized. Thanks again for being available and keeping me on the road!

Poor service, no communication between staff and carless management, they never get back to you.

As a concierge I always make booking for the guest for our hotel for this location which is close to our hotel, but after my experience I would never recommend to anyone here, I had a wonderful experience with other locations in Scarborough and Ajax, I dropped the car on Feb 22 in the morning around 9: 45am the send an email in the afternoon that there is a damage in the car, I replied back nobody got back to me till now. They opened a claim for me, without even talking with me they deduct $1000.67 from my MasterCard, I am like what a way to rip off people, worst customer service, I guess they need proper training to do circle check once they get the car coz no one is in charge after they drop the car, This was by far the worst experience and I won't be back to this location, READ THIS COMMENT BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS LOCATION. Extremely disappointed

I just saw the charges on my credit card now, and I cant wait to till tomorrow to make it clear.

My Boyfriend and I visited Toronto two times. The first time we went to enterprise without a Reservation. We had luck and get a Hyundai Elantra. The Car was very clean and we were very content.
The second time we made the reservation in advance in germany. Everything was fine when we pick up the Car. To our surprise we could choose between three cars. We get a New Chevrolet without paying any extra costs.
The staff was always very nice and polite. We are not native speaker and they explained everything so good, that we could understand everything. Thank you so much for the fabulous experience.

We rented a car through our concierge two weeks in advance of our trip. We received confirmation via email. On arrival to the Enterprise, we were shocked to find out they didn’t open for business that day. No sign. No cancellation. Just never opened. The sign said it was open from 9: 00 am. We were only in Toronto’s for two days so we had to quickly find another way to get to Niagara Falls. We wasted half our day trying to make other accommodations. TERRIBLE.

I stopped into this Enterprise during my trip to Toronto back in December (12/17/2018). They were the only location left with any vehicles, and they had reasonable rates. I booked a standard economy vehicle to take to Niagara Falls for the day. Usually, an Economy car is classified as a Volkswagen Jetta or similar. In my mind, I thought, "oh maybe a Nissan Sentra or something. " The reason being the last few times I have gotten a Nissan Sentra with Enterprise and had no issues. I was surprised when I got to the Enterprise because first, they showed me a small red car - which no offense looks like a vehicle you would give a kid who just got their permit. I thought maybe a Sentra or even an SUV. While the associate was helping me suddenly stated, " I'm so sorry my manager just told me I actually could not give you an SUV because you do not meet the age requirement. " This statement was odd because I have also rented SUVs from Enterprise in the past and had no issue. Maybe it is a difference between Canadian and American Enterprise policy? So I was then given the little red car which was a Nissan Micra. Because of the time and what not that was taken up, he was kind enough to give me a discount on the rental because the Micra is similar to a Mirage, which is a tiny car. Although the rental was not ideal for shopping and bringing stuff to and from Niagara Falls, it got us from Point A to Point B which is all that matters.

Finding the location can be difficult, I think I went in circles twice trying to find the Enterprise - but returning the vehicle is no issue.

Had reservation to pick up car for 1pm, for whatever reason there wasn't any cars available. I needed to be somewhere for 1: 45PM and I wouldn't have been able to come back before they closed at 3PM which is why I set the reservation for 1PM. Sophie said it would be about 20 minutes for the cars to come back and be cleaned. Unfortunately there was traffic and the cars didn't show up until about 1: 25PM and still needed to be cleaned, told Sophie I'll take it dirty because I don't have time to wait. She was very adamant about wanting to give me a nice and clean car but was ok with giving me the dirty one so long as I was good with it. Left the car in the underground because at this point I had to sprint down the road to make it to my appointment for 1: 45PM. Got there on time and we finished early so on my way back I stopped in to ask Sophie a question about my after hours drop off. Again she was very adamant about wanting to clean the car for me and very apologetic for the delay in the morning, told her it wasn't a big deal as everything worked out in the end. I asked if she wanted to do something for me she could reduce my rental rate and she was more than happy to do so. All in all, even though I was extremely stressed about not being able to get the car before I had to leave and ultimately not getting one at all if my appointment took me past closing, Sophie did an amazing job making sure I was taken care of!

Will not be returning to this particular location. All employees I encountered were awkward in general and neither nice nor welcoming. When picking up the car I was told my reservation had been cancelled since I showed up at 1pm instead of 12pm. Instead of just reinstating the reservation and setting me up, the clerk had to ensure I knew it was my fault and made me feel like I was bothering him. I also reserved a Standard, but was given a minivan, again saying it was my fault for coming late, instead of apologising for the change in car-type.

Upon returning the car, I pulled into a spot and there was no one around. I then notice a guy staring at me nearby and when we made eye-contact he starts joking about how much I loved car, since it was a minivan that I obviously didn't like. He didn't present himself as an employee so I thought he was just some random guy. He then asks for the keys, but I didn't see a name tag and when I asked for a receipt he said they don't provide any. I didn't know who he was and didn't feel giving him the keys to the car, so I went back upstairs to return it. Upon doing that, same guy that checked me is at the desk and tells me that now he "has to go take the keys down" to the guy. He could have said, thank you or asked me how my rental was. No sense of customer service in any of these guys and there needs to be some serious re-training.

I'm a frequent customer with Enterprise/National/Alamo because it is the preferred vendor for my work. This was by far the worst experience and I won't be back to this location.

Had a really good experience at this location. We got a Dodge Charger and the whole process was seamless. Great staff too!

This is a great location. The staff is friendly and the cars are in good condition. The location is convenient since it's close to Union Station.
