We recently rented an SUV from Enterprise as our SUV was totalled in an accident. The staff greeted us warmly and were friendly. The SUV we were given was brand new with only 276km on it. Fatima@Enterprise helped us through the process. We were exceptionally happy with her customer service and her polite way of dealing with us. We returned the vehicle after almost a month. The return process was extremely smooth. We highly recommend Enterprise@Milton for their excellent service and decent, clean vehicle fleet.

I rented a 7 seater SUV from this location in May through Costco. When we picked up the car, the one tire had a nail in it but the attendant who gave us the car brushed it off saying it was low tire pressure. We wasted an entire day of our rental agreement including gas to get the tire fixed. Costco negotiated a refund on our behalf and said we would get the refund from Enterprise within 3-7 business days. It has now been more than 10 business days and no sign of the refund. I tried to contact the Milton location today July 31,2023, got put on hold and then basically hung up on me.
I generally rent cars through the Enterprise Mississauga location and have always had a pleasant experience. This was my first time renting through the Milton location and will definitely be my last especially with the lack of customer service whatsoever. And no I do not recommend this location.

I use to come at this location and rent car quote often. Lately I find the customer service to be the worst. I work from home and I don’t go to office a lot. Today I booked car through enterprise and Sharon Agyemang is far the work employee I have come across in enterprise. I booked it though my work discount code. I understand I have to show the prof of work for which I told her I can show her a letter or she can even send an email to my work email and I can show her the email copy. I have shown her my LinkedIn, offer her to send email to my work email, offer her to bring a offer letter but she is adamant about having a physical ID or call my manager. My manager is on vacation and I don’t keep their personal cell phone. Many ppl work from home and they don’t get physical ID card but Sharon is not able to undertand the simple thing that physical ID are not given out to remote employee. Her reply was everyone gets an ID. I had to rebook to a new location and wasted my time with this location and missed my meeting.enterprise should hire more professional ppl and provide more training. Worst experience with Sharon Agyemang.

Great customer support provided by Shannon at the time of pick up and dropping off was also quick and convenient. Also got a brand new car to drive. Very pleased with the service.

Worst place I ever rented car from! Car got dropped off on Saturday at 12 noon, 1 hour after closing due to heavy traffic. They got notified. All got ignored. The woman were rude and charged us for all weekend threatened if I don’t pay it then send it to collections she doesn’t care…. Disgusting behaviour, not being cooperative at all.
Enterprise also put their hands up and neglected us as customers and excuse themselves by they are an independent entity…It is pretty poor and disgusting….

I had an awesome experience here just last week (April 2023). My car needed a fix that would take a few days so I got a shuttle from the repair place to enterprise nice and quickly and Melissa the branch manager at Enterprise welcomed me with a smile, quick service and super helpful! She showed me the vehicle I would be taking for the few days and what I needed to know about the car. Unfortunately when I drove off the lot straight home the plastic moulding above the rear wheel flew off.
I called her right away and she made a note of it, told me not to stress and that she could get me another rental right away. I chose not to get one at first but then thought the next day maybe it was best to get another rental. Called in the next morning, they assisted me right away with a new vehicle that afternoon and I was happy about that. I was a little uneasy about the first car so I called Melissa again to be sure I wasn’t going to be charged for that piece falling off and she said not at all, that’s not your fault and no need to stress. Things happen!
She was just so wonderful and had great customer service. She knows and does her job well:) thanks again Melissa!

I took a rental from this branch and that turned out to be a mistake.

After someone hit my parked rental car in a parking lot, I was told to go to the airport to pick up a replacement vehicle. After having to wait for 2 hours at the airport, I was told that Milton branch did not update my latest license that I had presented to them during the rental pick up and they didn't give me the exchange vehicle. I had to pick up a last minute rental from another company at a very high rate.

Milton branch seemed unapologetic, no customer empathy at all and declined to help in the matter and instead told me to update my online profile, making it seem like it was my mistake.

I was charged the entire amount for my rental when I didn't have the car for more than 2 days, not to mention the inconvenience caused to me due to their mistake of not documenting the correct license info, that I had presented while picking up the vehicle.

I called up customer care and I was told it'll be escalated and I'll get a call back with a few hours and it's been days with no contact.

This is really bad customer service. I've been renting with Enterprise for years and never have I had such a bad experience. You might be better off renting from another name brand or another location at least.

EDIT:
Despite sending an email to customer service with more details, based on the response to this review, I haven't heard back from Enterprise Customer Service which makes me believe that not just the branch but also the customer service is quite incompetent and don't believe in charging fairly. I'm going to escalate further.

Edit #2 - I was contacted by the branch and they have refunded the entire amount to me. I wish that the recourse was done when I had first approached them so there would've been no need of all this and contacting customer service etc. Bumping up the rating to reflect the closure in my favor.

Staff is good. However, understaffed on a Monday morning as there are 9 people in line and only one person (there is one more but is doing something in the back) is checking people in and out. Wait time is at least 40 minutes. Very bad.

I have spent so much money with this location. I have rented so many times but this time they are very rude. I always book online and it says it’s available for me and I go. I wait and I never get it because they tell me all our system is wrong every time that’s the excuse. I even called the head office and they told me the head manager of the location will call me in one hour, and never called me never runs from here. They are the worst.

This is the only and a very busy location in Milton with limited cars and resources but Tanner and Melissa are absolutely fantastic! Their customer service and sense of urgency is 5 star. I rent here 1-2 times a week and its always awesome. Thanks guys!

My son rented a car for a few months. They overcharged his credit card by several payments. They acknowledged this and yet they have not reimbursed him. Head office still has not given the money back always looking into it, and its been almost a year. Also they said they sent the deposit back in the mail.never got that back either. Total rip off.

Staff here is really rude esp the supervisor or the Manager white lady at the front with specs. I only go to this location when I have no choice. I always prefer Burlington, Millcreek & Oakville locations due to their great customer service & choice of cars. While, I understand being the only location in Milton, this place can experience vehicle shortage, which is quite understandable. That being said, there's always a way to address customers in a nice empathetic & polite demeanor. I mean a little courtesy can go a long way. Above all, m extremely sorry for pointing this but the supervisor/manager lady is not only rude but possesses a bigoted attitude towards select people. Her tone makes u feel as if she knows it all & is running a dealership or driving center where she gets to decide who should or shouldn't drive. I have noticed every time I walked in this location, her having arguments & always disagreements with people. The cars I have rented so far are Malibu, Toyota Camry & Honda civic, but even to qualify for those cars, you will be put on a waiting list for their availability. The cars always have problems with things like Oil change messages on front dash, tire pressure issues, scraped & bruised sides n corners. Wonder why other locations have the best cars & offer better value for money than these guys. Really these people need to change their business practices.

Staff is extremely rude over the phone, and their ‘short’ wait on the phone is over 15 minutes. Calling back again to try and confirm vehicle availability the staff again were rude. Spending 30 minutes trying to confirm a vehicle will be available the next day over the phone is not a good use of my time.

It might be worth looking elsewhere given this location doesn’t seem to value potential customers.

Upon picking up my rental and driving away I noticed the low tire pressure warning on the dash. I had to add air to all 4 tires as they were all low, this was a inconvenience. I recieved the car with just under half tank and returned it that way and was told to go fill it up to half tank. The car had alot of small scratches and damages that I did not feel comfortable with how they were documented as others have mentioned.

Had to have my car brought in for repairs, and had to rent a vehicle in the meantime. I dealt with Mac, who was very professional and made the whole experience very smooth and enjoyable. Would recommend!

I would like to tell everyone to be extra carefull, make sure you take damage protection and take pictures of the car from every angle and highlight every scratch before renting. From my experience so far if you dont take pictures then they will try to pass on damage from previous clients. I had rented a car and when i returned it today one of thier staff came out for a quick walk through and even before completing a full scan of the vehicle he straight away went to that exact spot and pointed out the damage as if he already knew about the damage on the vehicle, another thing worth mentioning is when he pointed out the damage he started to explain me the process and how 4 people from the team do inspection of every vehicle before it is handed to the customer but in reality when i took the car the staff had just done a quick walk through, checked the gas etc and handed me the keys. When i had got the keys, the rims on the vehicle had a lot of scratches on it and when i pointed out to the staff he said those are minor and they only look for huge dents/damages etc. Second thing worth mentioning is that he verified with me if i had pictures taken or not previously before taking the car just to make sure that there is no proof with me that the damage was not there previously before asking me to sign the damage form. I will share the picture and you can see that the damage is very minor and ignorable as explained by the staff initially when renting it, Also can be easily missed when taking the car but the fact that the staff was able to point it out right in first glance is a bit inconvincing so please be careful and inspect the vehicle thoroughly.

True unlimited miles. Damage inspection is reasonable instead of nitpicking with a microscope. Typical Enterprise style. Keep it up and please keep it affordable.

Easy going and friendly service. Vehicles are kept clean and in a good condition. Mac was a big help when picking up and dropping off.

A horrible experience.
While the cars and staff could come across as relatively friendly at first, that could change quick.

The overall experience working with the Steeles Avenue Branch was extremely dreadful.

On trying to renew my lease term, I was first told my rate would continue and the amount was blocked on my card, with the creation of a new contract. Midway through the contract, I was contacted only to be told my rate had risen by 3x. Nonetheless, I proceeded to visit the Enterprise Steeles branch, during which the keys were taken from me on the spot, without prior warning leading me to take my belongings on the spot and Uber-ing it back.

Quite disrespectful and unprofessional.

It was a pleasure to deal with them. We rented the 2021 Chevy Spark! Smooth ride, and we returned it before time, rates were quite good as well. Would recommend for any of your rental car needs!

The service is great and the cars are new. Staff is great to deal with. This is my favorite go to car rental location. The experience is relaxed and not rushed and they upgrade your rental if there are any concerns. Addison is a fantastic manager.

I got a great deal from hotwire. I needed an
extension because my car broke down. Karajit of the 320 Steeles Ave. Milton Ontario location honored the deal with the extension. He picked me up and dropped me at the dealership. I was out of their area in Mississauga but Karajit honored the hotwire deal and took care of me. I appreciate him and Milton Enterprise so much for helping me during such a stressful period. Thank you guys

Wonderful customer service and great staff. They went above and beyond to help me. I am disabled and needed assistance picking up the car and dropping off after hours. They were very accommodating and very understanding to my need. Very professional and great prices too. I will definitely recommend them.
