Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I have to take a few minutes to express how truly amazing the service I received at the Enterprise at the Ottawa Airport was. A week ago I had to rent a car due to some damage that occurred to my vehicle. The damage occurred later on in the day and the only rental center open was the location at the airport. My insurance company set up my rental with the Enterprise location at the airport. Once I arrived there in a taxi, I arrived at the counter and explained to them that I needed a rental and that it was authorized by my insurance. The clerk at the counter informed me that they do not deal with insurance rentals. I showed him my confirmation from the insurance company stating that my rental was booked at that location. They informed me that I actually had a rental at a different location, but that they would only be open the next morning. I had a bit of a meltdown after dealing with everything I had been through that day. I told them I needed a car right away as I had to pick up my daughter from school. I said I would pay for it myself if need be. The manager, Nick Smith said he would look into the situation and be right back. After a few minutes he returned and said he had taken care of the whole thing and they would give me a vehicle and it would all be taken care of through my insurance. I was so grateful and thankful for all their help. They truly went above and beyond to help me and I couldn’t be more thankful. Everyone was so kind and polite and really helped me out when I was in a tough situation.

Booked online. Didn't give all the details, won't accept debit, has hidden fees and charges, very dismissive staff, don't rent from the airport all of the airport car rentals are run by the same people too so doesn't matter which company, it's all the same

Car was clean and ready. Paperwork was.smooth and rapid. Ethan was informative and professional. Highly recommend.

Very rude and unprofessional staff.
I had a car that had seats that are uncomfortable and very bad on fuel. I politely requested a switch and got a very negative feed back with policies made up about the company. Despite having two cars on the lot. KG and veneko were very very unprofessional and racist.

My family and I just had the most wonderful experience dealing with Carolina at the Airport Enterprise location. She was so helpful and kind after our car broke down and we were stressed trying to find a solution for a preplanned weekend trip. Thank you!:)

Wonderful and friendly staff here. The SUV was new, cleaned and ran great. The pick up and drop off was very efficient and smooth. Highly recommend!

Nick the manager (or one of the managers) is clearly the most incompetent personnel manager I have met in any rental company. He doesn't understand how to treat customers impartially. I speak for myself and the terrible things he did to some customers in front of everyone. I have used quite a number of rental locations/companies, I feel sorry for the customers that use this branch. I always encourage management in organizations to train and retrain employees as needed. Nick (if he still works there), needs to be trained on the effect of anger management and micro aggression on customer service.

Nick is just terrible. Worst experience I have ever had from that branch.

Rented a car with tire pressure issue from another location, and I was able to change for a nice car at this location. Michael and Janet were very kind and helpful with the change process. Very enjoyable and satisfied experience. Thank you.

The worst experience i ever had with any rental company, they discriminate against Quebecors.my husband and i went to rent a car yesterday and they asked my husband for 2 forms of ID, he asked them since when you need 2, we have been renting from enterprise for over 15 years and never were we asked for 2, they told my husband that its because we're from Quebec and they had a lot of theft from Quebecors.so they basically said in front of everyone that because we are from Quebec, we are criminals! My husband is a peace officer but you called him a thief.and dont say anything about this being a new procedure because the employees didn't ask the customers infornt of us for 2 pieces of ID.this was nothing but discrimination, its not cool and i will go to the news with this, with the tension between francophones and anglophones i imagine this will not be good for your overall business in Quebec. This branch used to be great. People have turned it into a place where bad
customer experience is welcome. Nick the manager is just plain terrible with customer service, making the business lose money daily. I have seen him treat people differently, depending on his internal metrics- emotions, race, gender, class or whatever else he uses.

DO NOT WORK WITH KALHED! - Ottawa airport.

We always rent cars at enterprise and this guy did not receive us as proper! And this was our first time experiencing this from where we always rent cars.

Don’t say we did not warned you!

HASSET & COLE (the manager) were both nice. Thank you for taking care of us after what KALHED did.

It was ok. The windshield was really dirty and limited visibility while driving.

I returned the car, and received an invoice right away. However, I was charged an extra hour on my rental even though I didn't go an hour over. I requested a refund which employees at the counter were very happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, the system was unable to print an invoice despite the best efforts of the assistant branch manager. Even though I was assured a refund will arrive within the next 3-4 days, at this moment I don't have an invoice and essentially no way to prove I'm owed a refund. In conclusion the system was very fast to overcharge but really slow to correct the overcharge. Enterprise, fix your systems so that your employees can do their best job and still have happy customers. Yo can do better!

We are on Ottawa Canada and Trying to call and no one would answer the phone at any location especially the air port which is where we picked up the vehicle we have a problem with it. We’re trying to get a hold of someone to take it back and exchange it. Absolutely nobody answering the phone.

And if you expect that - Enterprise YOW has mint vehicles… think again

I had a truly terrible experience with this location. I attempted to confirm my reservation by calling their phone line multiple times, but to my dismay, they never answered. This left me in a state of uncertainty about whether my reservation was actually confirmed or not. The lack of communication was beyond frustrating, and it's incredibly disappointing that a company at a major airport can't even answer their phone to assist customers. This level of unresponsiveness is simply unacceptable and made my travel experience far more stressful than it should have been. I strongly advise others to consider alternative options if they're looking for reliable and responsive car rental services.

I have been to Enterprise Airport Ottawa multiple times in May 2023 for return and rental of a one way vehicle to Toronto. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Mr. Tolu in particular gave me excellent service! It doesn't get any better than that.
In any case, there is no comparison to A.s in the USA and Germany, where I myself, as a preferred customer, have only had trouble in recent years.

Sabrien was amazing and went out of her way to cater to us late on a long weekend when there were barely any cars left.
