Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I called the main enterprise rent a car number and told them that I need a rental vehicle for warranty work. The lady on the phone happily took my reservation & suggested that if I don't here from the location in my area to call them directly. So I waited an hour and no phone call. So I called the location directly as suggested. The gentleman I spoke to said he never received my booking, but no worries could get me in a rental tomorrow. They also gave me 10% CAA Member Discount on my booking for 6 days since they couldn't find the Warranty company fixing my personal vehicle. When I arrived at the Orangeville location to get my rental car. They originally had me booked into a Compact car but if interested in Premium Car for the same price, apparently the car had a bad odour smell. I sat in it and I didn't smell anything bad. On my paperwork it stated gas tank was 1/2 but actually had 3/4. When I filled it up to a full tank only cost me $20, they knocked off $40.00 off my rental total. So with the CAA Discount and $40.00 credit for filling up the tank they saved me $100! I will definitely rent from there again the customer service is amazing!

I drive a Jetta. And was given a Chevrolet Sonic. Was very disappointed that I was lied to. Also the teenager that dropped my car off, and explained why I wasn’t receiving the same size car was very unprofessional. Wont be using this service again

The cars are good not great but they can’t control that. The service is the best part and the reason why I only rent from here. Best service I have seen amazingly accommodating, helpful, and reliable. They go above and beyond for others and always have a positive attitude and vibe.

I recently rented a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander from this company for a 3 day trip.
The vehicles exterior was in rough shape upon first viewing the vehicle.
I'm now on the line for $2000 over a small dent on the back trunk that I did not cause and wheel well trim falling off that was already ready to fall off before I rented the vehicle.
The vehicle came without working seat belts for the entire 5 seats that are stationed in the back, but apparently there circle checks are accurate?
If so, why was my families life's put on the line throughout the duration of our trip with no working seat belts.
Why was no pictures taken prior to me obtaining the vehicle?
This company is so wishy washy I should've seen the red flags rignt off the bat.
Save yourself the hassle of taking them to court and some money, and rent elsewhere.

From reserving a vehicle by phone, to pickup and drop off everything was very good.

Knowledgeable staff, clean vehicle and driving me home after returning the car to enterprise was all 5 star.

Hence the rating, highly recommend.

My experience at thos location was great. I had a situation regarding a claim I was dealing which conflicted with my rental. I spoke with Matt and Scott and they were very understanding and patient with me. I really appreciated that they went over and beyond. PIck up and drop off were very seamless and quick. I would definitely rent from this location again.

Expected better than a Elantra with warped brake rotors and temperature issues where the A/C turns on with remote start and car says 40 degrees Celsius outside in winter. That purchase was over a month ago last year and you bill me now? How long you keep customers CC on file for your convenience for billing charges?

I rented a car on short notice. It was very clean, and new. Staff at this location were friendly, professional, and went the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied. Picking the vehicle up, and dropping it off, were super quick and easy.

Very professional, excellent customer service, clean sanitized cars. Mr. Shah Rukh (I apologize, Idk exact spelling of his name) was above and beyond in customer service.

I noticed his friendly personal rapport building was with each and every customer. Even the small things to connect with the customer, goes a long way for the customers. It felt more of a family owned business giving each customer 110%, rather than a big box business rushing customers in/out the door.

We had drove an hour to Orangeville, and it was almost closing time. I had my two toddlers with me, and he still managed to help me with returning the car.

Both an employee and a customer helped me to lift my kids stroller onto the 2 stairs into the building. Only thing would be even better, if there was a wheelchair accessible ramp.

My car insurance claims adjuster had up and left the insurance company & didn't tell us clients he left. Because of this, there was delay in communication from my insurance company. But Mr. Shah Rukh and my new claims adjuster, were able to resolve this situation, and in a very professional manner too.

Also the employee who dropped the car rental off, as well as an employee over the phone, also were both very professional in explaining that they didn't have anything to do with our insurance company delay (at the time, I wasn't aware my insurance claims adjuster had left the company). But once my insurance company got on board, then it was pretty quick with getting the car rental.

I had my car totaled by someone a few weeks ago and my insurance set me up with the local rent a car in order to obtain a vehicle while my claim was being handled.

Almost immediately after being in contact with my insurance company Matt from Enterprise was in contact with me about setting me up with my rental. I was shocked by how fast all of this had been organized.

They were able to get me on a waiting list and provided me with a vehicle as quickly as possible. Anytime I called to check in the staff was friendly and helpful.

Both Matt and Shaharouk were absolutely lovely to deal with. Answered any and all of my questions and had a great attitude while doing so! I would highly recommend this location to anyone on the area in need of a rental. Very professional and supportive as well as incredibly helpful.

Never rent a car from them. Firstly Maggie, I believe is the manager or owner or something is Very nice and tried to help me but all her offers were of no use. I rented a full size pickup truck on line smooth as silk. Got the email confirmation read through it including fine print which I usually never do. Go to pick it up this morning and ask for the hitch ball since I need to pull my utility trailer hence why I rented a full size pickup. I then get told that I'm not allowed to tow with it. I was told that if I want a truck I can tow with I have to rent it from Barrie. Are you kidding me. The truck they had for me had a reciever already mounted to it. Nowhere that I read did it say anything about not being able to tow. Its a freaking full size pickup. If I rented it from Barrie I would have probably got the exact same truck. Its like renting a convertible and being told I'm not allowed to put the top down. Although staff was very nice they were no help. NEVER rent from them. The website is very confusing and vague and their policies are absolutely ridiculous and make no sense. Staff good company horrible!

Maggie, Justin & Steve are amazing to deal with - they provide 5 star customer service, are incredibly friendly and always put the customer first. I've only had positive experiences with them from booking, to getting picked up, dropped off, etc. Highly recommend.

Honestly and most likely the worst enterprise in all of Canada. I’ve used enterprise so many times in the past booking with this location is bound to give you grey hairs.

Worst car rental experience ever. Stranded Christmas Eve without any notice they were closing 4 hours early today. All confirmed but left in the cold with an empty store and now Christmas alone. Thanks for being the worst car rental company in Orangeville. Never again.

Finally got a follow up with Enterprise for their rental car failure, leaving me stranded on Christmas eve without a car (and hence without family.worst Christmas ever thanks to Enterprise), when they decided without warming or notice, to CLOSE 4 HOURS Early, despite EVERY assurance from the corporate customer service that they would be open and my confirmation papers saying they were open to 6pm. Of course, they are blaming the customer. Not their fault for closing 4 hours early and failing to inform any people confirmed to pick up cars that day. I love companies that blame their clients and take no accountability for their errors. Again, NEVER again will I rent at Enterprise after only renting from them for the past 20 years. Bristol Orangeville all the way now.

Shocked to find no winter tires on their vehicles. Also there was no snow brush in the car on a day when we were hit with 10 cms of snow. Turns out you have to request a car with snow tires and pay extra! Doesn't make sense to me that they would put unsafe cars out on the road with potentially inexperienced drivers. Also had several issues with tire pressure in the tires. Manager refunded a good portion of the rental so that made up for some of the inconvenience and stress.

I've been happy with their service. Have rented from this location about 6 to 10 times over the past 2 or 3 years.

Fantastic experience with the Orangeville location! I have rented before from other rental companies to show up and not have what I rented so I was very worried that might happen. I rented a 8 seater SUV to transport my family to a wedding a few hours away. I called a few weeks before to confirm that they would be able to accommodate and The ladies at Orangeville Enterprise pulled through for me obtaining the SUV I requested and made the experience pleasant. Friendly service and would recommend to others.
