As the year of 2023 comes to an end would like to give the biggest shout out to theses employees from enterprise over at the carlinton location. Rhyse, who handed me over the keys to the vehicle when I arrived. A polite young handsome fellow who has a great attitude and charming personality. Only had a few minutes with him before I departure with my rental, though he was so awesome, I told him which vehicle I was hoping to get, and he that car available he didn't think twice before looking to see if those keys were available for me and signed me out with it. Thanks rhyse!

Once returned, i was greeted by a man named Johnson with a great smile and eager to know how my adventures went. As he did his return inspection, he did not ignore what I had to say, he was great in conversating and I was happy with that, good eye contact, while still doing his inspection. I had a Great time sharing my experience with you Johnson!

The final person I interacted with was Samuel, he professional dressed, and had a great professional manner. Samuel was the one who asked me to make this review. He was very caring towards his colleagues as well as myself, I really like Samuel.he knew who I was as I've rented multiple time from their location, and spoke to me on a personal level. Even though I was only there for 10 minutes, it seemed like longer, he did not just want me to leave, he focused on what I had to say and treated me almost like I mattered. Truly wanted me to know that he cared about my bussiness with them and shared his gratitude with me.
Now to end this, I will say I continue to go to this location now just for these 3 individuals, I want to shout out the WHOLE team that works at this enterprise location -1615 lapierre ave. Everyone here is welcoming and treats you with great care. Please visit this location you next booking with enterprise.

Try to rent a car there, just next to the garage where my car was fixed. No car available despite phone call and booking on line a week in advance. Had to find another renting place next to my house, complicating the situation when i had to take my car from the garage.

I am surprised by negative reviews, because my experience was all positive. Rented while car being repaired; vehicle I got was new, clean, comfortable drive. Every staff member I dealt with were friendly and accommodating (shout out especially to Branka). When I went by after a couple of weeks to explain my repair was delayed and I needed to extend my loan, Branka arranged to have the car washed while I was at the office. Returning was hassle-free and took only a couple of minutes. All in all, I would return in the future if I need a rental and would recommend this place.

Imagine walking into the national house of pancakes, to eat pancakes, to find out that they actually dont have any pancakes? This is how I felt going to enterprise!

Worst location! Do not recommend renting from this location. Will not be renting from this enterprise again. I’ve had better experience at other locations in ottawa. Or will just go to Hertz next time!

Worst Enterprise location in Ottawa. Bunch of incompetent individuals. How do you lose a reservation when it’s been confirmed? Been waiting over two weeks+

Avoid if possible!

Used to be good, but their corporate rates are pretty abysmal now and three to four times the price, for the same, if not worse service. Gas rarely full tank, one person says one thing, another person charges you extra. Definitely better and more affordable rental services in Ottawa that I would recommend to people. Life has been a lot better since switching to other companies

It was a great place at one time, but after repeated tries - they just can’t get it right. Everything from giving me a jeep that smelt of weed, always an issue. I have yet to be there in the last two years without an issue. The people are kind but that does not make up for the gong show of disorganization. I will never rent from this location again

The customer service at this location was bar none! Mahmood and Gabriel were so professional, hospitable, and helpful. My car had to go into the auto body shop next door be repaired after being rear-ended, and they gave me a beautiful Dodge Durango, that handled the roads so well! The car was impeccably clean, and was the ideal for my young family. I highly recommend this location!

I am very disappointed with my experience here. Do not go there is you value your safety and the safety of your family. I called on Feb. 17 to let them know i was having a safety issue with my vehicle, and today is exactly one month later, but they still haven't done anything about it, as i am still driving the same vehicle. I have called several times and I even went there yesterday and saw some cars available on the lot, but the guy informed me that they are premium SUVs, and either myself or my insurance would have to pay $58 per day extra for those vehicles. So they rather their customers drive an unsafe vehicle than giving an upgrade until they have a similar vehicle available. It is ridiculous to think the company would value $58 per day over their customer's safety.
I have one of their vehicles since January, as my vehicle is being repaired. While driving to Toronto in a snowstorm on Feb. 17, the windshield washer sprayer was not working. I could barely see anything while I was driving, as the wipers were on and the windshield was dry, so all I had were streaks all over the windshield, and I had to drive slouched down, peaking through a little spot at the bottom of the windshield. It was very dangerous weather to drive in period, but I also had to drive dealing with the sprayer issue as well, so it was a terrible and dangerous drive for myself and my family.
They told me they would put me on a switch-out list, and one month later I am still driving the same unsafe vehicle. I have been caught in 2 snowstorms with this vehicle, and it has happened both times. They just don't value the safety of their customers, and that is very concerning considering the industry that they are in.

In and out. Simple and easy. The guys there are great. They should all be so pleasant to do business with.

Amazing experience! I rent a lot of cars due to my job, and this was hands down the best experience I’ve had. Customer service was outstanding; I also took advantage of the drop-off service after, which was super fast and convenient. Everyone I interacted with was great. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location in the future!

Reading some of the other reviews about tire tread, winter tires and cleanliness, just make sure you look at the car before you rent it, the location has a large selection, and if something was overlooked, I’m convinced they would switch you into something else without issue.

They had no issues when I had to return a car due to stinky mats (from not being dried properly).

Making reservations at this location is a lottery. Neither will they provide you with an alternative solution. AVOID!

I had to rent a car via my insurance company for a few weeks while I waited for my car. I was given this 2021 Jetta to borrow. It was very clean with a full tank of gas. My only gripe was that I was not given winter tires (I should have asked for an all-wheel drive vehicle instead), but that's not Enterprise's fault. The service was excellent, both dropping off the car and picking it up. The workers were so nice and explained everything to o me. Would recommend going to this specific location again.

They will try to give you good service at the end but the beginning is not always what you wanted them to do. In the end it's okay.

Car was dirty, dash window was dirty, please be careful and make sure you take the vehicle to the car wash first. Don't be fooled even if it "looks clean". I nearly got hit on the highway because of the dash window smudges and dirt that became worse when I used the sprinklers&wipers. My view was obstructed for the longest time. A miracle that I survived. Sadly, this shop doesn't care about your safety, only your money.

Very friendly and respectful. Prices are higher than other branches, but good service in general.

Amanda Killeen is a horrible representative for this rental car company. Don’t walk away from this location, run away. Absolutely brutal and overpriced

Clean and new cars. One minor issue that was resolved with better than expected results from the staff at this location.

Absolutely despicable treatment when renting a car here today. It’s a long story, but suffice it to say, the some employees do not know how to treat Enterprises’ customers with respect, and provided a humiliating and awkward experience, that I do not consider to be remotely professional.

Also, as per other reviewer’s that gave this location a 1 star review, the car had 35,000 kms on it, which was apparent with brakes that were excessively sensitive and steering that was so sloppy, I doubt it would pass a safety. In fact, I just might take it to an MTO certification station and see if it passes a safety.

The tires definitely won’t, as you can see in the picture (attached), there is certainly not enough tread to pass a safety.

If it fails the safety, I probably should have it towed back to Enterprise at their expense and bill them for my time.

Had a rental car here arranged by my insurance. Very professional service, they offer pick up and ride home service, car was clean and new. Will recommend to anyone who needs a rental car.

Scammers and con artists. They will lie to you about your booking details and then not be available on the day of.
Head office is useless in contacting them, don't even try. They'll just tell YOU to go to the location even if you don't have a vehicle.

They do not equip their cars with winter tires, extremely dangerous drive. Go to Quebec side for properly winterized car.

Response to Enterprise: While I appreciate your response, I have emailed care@enterprise and care@ehi, I have talked to around a dozen different people at those emails. That is how Enterprise was "graciously" able to remove me from the do not rent list.

Short version: Enterprise used my information from a previous rental to rent to someone else, and caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages, and ruined my perfect credit. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR INFORMATION, just go to budget/avis around the corner.

I have rented vehicles from Enterprise on 4 occasions, all 4 were excellent experiences. This 1 star review is the result of a car I did not rent.

Enterprise on Laperriere Ave rented a car to another individual (former employer), and used my credit card info from a previous rental, without my consent. I was not present the day the car was rented and there is no signed contract.

After 14 mos of emails back and fourth (with Enterprise taking 3-6 weeks to respond) I had the branch manager at the time (Leslie) tell me the only way to resolve this was with payment, this was after an employee admitted there was no signature on the contract, and after I provided the contact information for the person who rented the vehicle (enterprise had them listed as second driver).

Enterprise sent this to collections (CREDIFAX), I let CREDIFAX know the car was not rented by me, yet they continued pursuing collections activities (even though this is illegal - per consumer law their only next step would be to serve me - yet still they reported to credit bureau). This resulted in damage to my credit (796 to 620 credit score - had no other negative items on my credit), and cost me tens of thousands of dollars in damages as a result of my bank withholding credit due to this item on my credit.

The best enterprise was able to do was remove me from their do-not-rent list.as if they think I will ever use their services again.

I am now working with an attorney ($$$) as that seems to be the only Enterprise will lift a finger to try and make this right; the ministry of consumer services due to the complete disregard to consumer law from Enterprise's preferred collection agency; and EQUIFAX to try and undo some of the damage this has caused.

Also to add, my former employer paid the bill - still they will not reverse damage to my credit.

I am horrified and disgusted that a company can have such a disregard to basic human decency, and have no desire to make this right. This has caused a significant amount of stress, I have lost time, sleep, and money.

CUSTOMER BEWARE, Enterprise does not care about you or your private information.

Had an issue from another location, wasen't happy with original vehicle that we received, brought it to this location, and thanks to Nathan, he went above and beyond to get us into a better vehicle, much happier, thanks Nathan!

If I could give negative stars I would, most unprofessional staff I have ever met in my life (which isn’t the norm with enterprise they’re usually always amazing) Made a reservation for a premium suv the day before and the morning of pick-up I went and it was sitting right in the lot but I was told someone else had just called and confirmed they were going to pick it up. I showed the employee my call logs with his location the morning of and the day before along with my reservation but he tried telling me he didn’t set it up so he’s keeping it for his customer. Biggest joke of a front office I’ve ever seen in my life. Thanks for wasting our time and f**king our plans. Teach your morning team what professionalism means. November 11th 8am.

This location is a wasted of valued time and hotmess. It is ran by kids and there is no one who's mature enough to handle proper business procedures. They don't deserve a dollar.

Probably the worst enterprise location of all time. You will find plenty of car issues and absolutely terrible customer service. Customer loyalty program is there to rip you off. You will receive lots of promotional emails but you can't use any of them. The prices keep changing, it is like booking an airline ticket. I would much prefer a transparent service where customers are treated fairly. I will never use this service ever again.

This is my first time doing a review for Enterprise, but I thought I would do it because of their service delivery. People are quick to complain about negative experiences and forget to compliment. So I wanted to give them praise, where praise is due. Rented a moving truck from Mike and his team on Laperriere St. They were amazing to deal with. They are professional, curteous and helpful. The truck was easy to drive and perect for our moving needs. We've rented from Enterprise before over the years, mostly cars, and always had GREAT service. No matter the location. I've done business with serveral other car rental companies and they are the BEST in their industry! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks Mike and team!

The staff in this branch are very kind and friendly. Leslie the manager is awesome, she offered me a prepaid fuel option at a very good price. One problem is that the options for car selection are somewhat limited.

I have rented here several times this summer, the cars are always in excellent condition, at reasonable rates, and the service is speedy, reliable and professional. After several horrible experiences at other car rental companies, I will never rent from anywhere else than Enterprise. Thank you so much for raising the bar in the industry!

Great people and customer service. I use this location because it is close to work; however, when I need a rental and I am not in the area of my office, I will go out of my way (cross town) to come to this location as I never have any surprises with reservations. They also have a wide selection of vehicles.

Bobby was a great help and made the process very simple through these unprecedented times we’re facing.

I decided to take advantage of the student discount Enterprise was offering until May 31, and it was very much worth it.

I’ll definitely be a returning customer in the future, and definitely one last time before the promotion ends on the last day of May.

I've rented a car a few times a month from this location for at least 6 years now. In the last year I've noticed the service has lost its touch. Multiple occasions I've had dirty, hair, smoke riddle rentals. I've let it go but after I booked a reservation for today may 15,2020 for 9 A. M.only to be told I can't get picked up or have the vehicle delivered to me and they dont know when they'll be able to get a vehicle to me.

Long story short at 12 p.m. I cancelled my reservation because I have no time to wait, from now on I'll be going to discount just seconds up the road.

Rented a car while my truck was in the shop. Excellent door to door service. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Super fast to get the car and super fast service to close out the bill. I would use Enterprise again.

Absolutely great rental experience. Matt at Enterprise Truck Rental on Laperriere in Ottawa was a trooper. Had the truck warmed up ready to go on a -20 degree day. Great customer service, great attitude. Clean vehicle ready to go. I Would definitely recommend.

Terrible customer service for a repeat customer. They made an error when I had an insurance replacement vehicle from them. My insurance company paid them in full, but it wasn’t recorded properly by the branch. It has been an ongoing issue when I need to rent a vehicle from other locations. I called and asked politely if they could send an email or some type of info to document that I don’t have any outstanding balance. I travel often for work, usually on a tight schedule, so being delayed 30-60 mins at the airport while they figure out the situation is incredibly inconvenient. I was a regular customer at this location and and feel like they couldn’t care less about the issues they have caused me through their own mistakes.

Excellent customer services and attention to details. Eric picked me up and gave me a ride home after the return. Definitely best rental car service I’ve ever had.

Bobby and his associate got me in and out quickly in the vehicle that I needed. They also deducted the cost of my rideshare home because of the high volume of customers needing rides. Been a loyal Enterprise customer for years, and looking forward to renting from this location again.

Best car/truck rental experience I have ever had. The owners seem to genuinely care, and provide an excellent service.

Great experience, I came in to rent a car when a tire change turned into a bit more work. I came in with no reservation and the process was efficient and everyone was so kind. Drop off service was just as good, they were also able to drop me off at a spot of my choice, which was a awesome surprise as I was prepared to walk to the garage.

I've been dealing with enterprise for 4 years now. And this week would be my last time doing business with them. I rented an SUV for 2 days Which was a reasonable price. They asked for security deposit 350$ everything was fine until I dropped the vehicle off. The employee forgot to send me an email receipt and found out the next day when I called that my file was still open and found out the employee who served me had swiped my card 2x and took 700$ security deposit. Really disappointed

My wife add I went car free about a year ago, and have been renting from here on a regular basis since then, because sometimes you just need a car. The service is always extremely friendly and prompt, even when they're busy. I often take advantage of the free pick-up and drop off option, and it always takes less time than they estimate. When they have higher tier vehicles available, they will often offer a free upgrade. Most times we reserve an economy, and end up with an SUV if we want it. And theirs tend to be the best price in town, which is an added bonus!

This place has some shady business practises. When booking my vehicle I asked to confirm that i had unlimited mileage. I also mentioned I would be taking the vehicles in the US.

I was told that I could take the vehicles to the US but there was no mention that this would void my unlimited mileage. Only after receiving a $7000 bill for additional km was this communicated.

A contract is supposed to be a good faith agreement. When asking if I get unlimited km the answer should NOT have been yes, it should have been "unlimited for local travel"

This is a shady practise and I am not happy

We rented a van from Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Laperriere Avenue for a few days. The van was a van and it was just what we needed.
What made this 5 stars was Paloma (hope I spelled that correctly!) She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. This lady is a gem and definitely deserves some recognition from Enterprise. (and a raise!) Thank you Paloma!

Premium cars with substandard and amateurish service. Rented a premium SUV for a day.picked it up at noon.then got a call the following morning at 8: 30am asking me to return the car at 9am because they had booked it to other customers. Not even 24 hours. After I told the caller that i'm having a coffee in my pjs (it was Saturday morning), he reluctantly agreed to let me return it at 10am.so i joked about possibly getting a discount because I had returned it earlier than expected, and the immediate answer came "I'll make it up to you on your next booking". So I had to change my plans for the day and cancel on people and return the car with half the tank filled on fuel (took it on "empty"). Once I brought the car back, the guy who had called me at 8: 30 did a 180 on me and asked me "why I didn't tell him otherwise he could have pushed the reservation for later"! And all I got as what he knew as an apology was his business card with "free weekend" scribbled on the back (as if I don't have past experiences with Enterprise not honoring these promises). Thanks for nothing Robbie. If you insist on using Enterprise then contact another location, not this frat house.

Amazing customer service from Zach. He was very quick to greet us and make sure we got the car as quick as possible. The car had no issues and was very clean. Zach made renting a car very simple and painless to do. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Service is good, and staff are responsive. There is often a small wait after checking in but that is the nature of the service they provide.

Everything flows so well at this location. From your initial phone call with Abigail, to your pick up driver Matt, check out with Vanessa and a short follow up on customer service by the manager Zack. Best service I've ever received keep up the good work.

Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Sometimes they’re busy and you wait a while before talking to a sales representative but they always make you feel like you’re not forgotten.

We had a most pleasant experience at Enterprise on Laperriere Avenue, Ottawa this morning, having to rent a car after ours was damaged in an accident. Robbie looked after us and he was excellent. He found us the perfect vehicle to meet our needs and was so pleasant and professional in doing so. I would highly recommend!

Excellent service. The team there at 1615 Laperriere location goes extra mile to provide service to the client, especially the manager and the assistant manager there. My best experience over the years for car rental. Strongly recommend doing business with them.

Rented from this location a few times, for personal reasons, and via insurance. Each experience has always been the best customer service. Been stuck waiting once, but mornings are busy at most car rental places. My go to car rental spot in the city.
