I’ve had a couple of issues with my furnace (first winter in new home). The guys I dealt with were fantastic. Reasonably priced, work was great, communication has been excellent (which can be a bit rare these days), and everything was explained clearly so I’m confident I’m getting honest, good quality service. We still have one issue pending, but I’m confident we will be just as satisfied when all is said and done.

Very pleased with the level of customer service and time taken to explain things. Going off of oil heating, we explored other home heating options and we received a really good idea of what propane heating would look like or going with a heat pump. They were very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable dealing with the team. We decided to go the heat pump route and they took care of removing our oil tank, old furnace and AC unit, and got us all sorted out. Everything took two days and they worked hard and were super productive. You can tell they knew what they were doing. Very impressed and I would certainly recommend.

When I first started the process of converting from a dying AC unit to a Heat Pump, I called around to the usual places, but something just did not feel right. 4 years ago, I had both the furnace and air conditioner replaced. Mike and his team are the best! They are punctual, polite and honest. I know honest contractors tend to be an oxymoron, in this case, not so. They are also very tidy, no mess was left at all, very clean workers. Since then I have had my gas fireplace inspected and cleaned, excellent job!

It seems rare these days to find professional and knowledgeable people in the trade. After a bad experience on my last installation, it was completely refreshing to have these guys in. The level of knowledge was incredible, not only do they think about the skills needed, but the science behind it is sound. As a science, teacher myself I love it when somebody “geeks out” in their field of expertise. They were in once before to check out what I had there, and immediately found the problems the last guys did on their installation and kept the old furnace chugging along as long as possible.it was actually good fun to be beside Mike while he made predictions as he open up the furnace and sure enough they were exactly what he expected to find. It explained all the problems that I had with the furnace previously. I actually had two companies in to look at it before and repair it and both of them missed what the actual problem was

It came time for a new furnace and their installation was smooth, fast, clean and done with care. Their customer service was fantastic.

I would absolutely recommend these guys over anybody else for their maintenance and installation needs as far as furnace work goes.

They got a the job done on a quite short notice. Clean installation, very happy with them. I would recommend 100%!

My experience with Environmental HVAC Systems Inc. (EHSI) was top shelf - I can’t say enough here to do it justice. Professional, timely, personalized, caring, quality, cost-competitive, versatile and customer driven all come to mind. Late on a Friday in February, our 20-year-old Furnace gave out (the blower motor seized). In a pinch with young kids at home, I reached out to my usual HVAC contact, a much larger company that I’ll call “ABC”. ABC came out Saturday for an after-hours service, they did the diagnosis and gave me an estimate for a “new” HVAC system installation for Monday. Great! Heat in a couple days with a new system fully installed! As I thought about this some more on Saturday, I realized ABC never offered to explain their system options, their costs breakdowns, any rebates etc. Reaching ABC by phone on Saturday/Sunday to make changes while ensuring heat for Monday wasn’t happening. ABC’s website wasn’t helping – I was in the dark.

After speaking with family on Saturday, I investigated Ontario’s Energy Rebate programs online. Through this site, I entered my info so one their partnered HVAC integrators could reach out to me ASAP for a new system. First thing Sunday morning, EHSI phoned me to follow up. Right then, they answered all my pressing questions about HVAC System options, costs, rebates and they were able to meet me at my place later that Sunday afternoon! EHSI patiently walked me through all their HVAC systems, each option and their benefits and costs, while even advising me of the pros and cons for each. EHSI also initiated the Ontario Energy Rebates process for me, even taking the time to explain all the energy saving options (from a Smart Thermostat, extra insulation layer, air sealing, high efficiency furnace etc.). I never felt rushed or pressured.

EHSI was able to provide me with a high-quality system ordered late that Sunday afternoon for a next day installation on Monday! And they came through seamlessly on Monday, even with little extras: direct vented outside 2 pipe system and they covered ABCs after hours service fee. Since EHSI had shown me how the Smart Thermostat’s website and iPhone App worked, I came home late Monday fully confident with how to operate my new Smart Thermostat controlled system. In the days that followed, EHSI also contacted me (by phone or text) to offer support and answer any potential questions - this was outstanding. I was most impressed that EHSI was able to offer such a “package deal” for considerably less than ABC, with several extra costly features. I would highly recommend Mike and his team at EHSI any day!

Update Sept 2022.
Once again Mike and his team come through. This week when we went to heat with the furnace, and booted up with an error code and would not start. After contacting Mike, his team was there promptly, and they quickly helped us resolve a minor issue and had us up running in no time. Thanks again!

Very responsive and did what they said they would do on time. EHSI is a modern company with modern order, follow up and communication systems. I was pleased with their commitment to their quoting, pricing and installation services. The install team was efficient and knowledgeable. The product warranties provided were better than a previous Rheem supplier I had used. My previous supplier told me that they had never installed an R16 Seer Rheem AC unit in the Niagara Region before and although they said they would provide a quote they did not, they let me down. EHSI did not, they were quick and honest and I will use them again when required for maintenance on my HVAC equipment in the future.

I can't recommend the people at Environmental Hvac Systems Inc.enough. From my initial contact with Brian by phone, to Mike's follow ups and the excellent work done by Adam and Calum. The quote was clear, detailed and accurate. The men showed up on time, neatly dressed, very personable and polite. The work was completed in a timely manner, the work areas were cleaner than when they started (thanks guys!) and the unit works better than I dreamed it would.

After my AC failed a few weeks ago I reached out to the company that installed my existing furnace as well as a few other companies. Environmental Hvac Systems Inc.was the first one to respond. Brian took my information, discussed my needs and provided me with a comprehensive quote in no time.

To be fair I waited for my previous supplier to give me a quote also to have something to compare to.
Environmental Hvac Systems Inc.was very thorough listing 6 different options as well as the warranties etc that accompanied each product. My existing company insisted on a site visit and barely bothered to provide much detail in their quote. The only question my existing company had was.do you want to get this signed up? Too much pressure, not enough detail, a higher price and a lesser warranty.

We have used Environmental many times! For service calls, as well as installation of our duct work, furnace and AC. They have run a gas line for us as well. All the work has been superb! Brian is always professional and just all around great. Mike is a top notch owner and always sends people to complete the work in a timely manner. Would highly recommend. We've had these guys replace our AC and our water heater. They did a great job with both. Very timely at getting back to me, setting up appts, and completing the work. The team that showed up on both jobs was very friendly, introduced themselves when they arrived and cleaned up nicely when they left. The new Ac line is so neat and tidy all the clamps even line up perfectly (every OCD persons dream) lol! Great job overall.

I highly recommend Environmental HVAC Systems Inc. I called them at 10: 00am because our AC wasn’t working. They came the same day and got it fixed!

David and Malcolm were right on time and worked very well together. I am impressed from the very minute they came to the door and rolled out the neoprene runners to cover the entire path and stairway they will be using. David's experience was evident from the start and Malcolm as an apprentice was an avid learner. The A/C unit is sitting perfectly and the wiring and copper tubing are all secure and neatly placed unlike the original installation. They even brought a pad and stone screenings in case I hadn't prepared one myself! I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend EHSI. I don't think I can ask for anything better than the service and attention that I received.

I used Environmental HVAC Systems Inc.to replace my furnace and I am certainly glad that I did.top notch service all the way! My furnace stopped working on Sunday (faulty gas valve) due to a variety of reason I thought it more prudent to replace rather than repair. I contacted them Monday morning and they were on site the same day.no heat situation. They provided a quote on Monday and were able to schedule the install the next day.everything back to normal by Tuesday afternoon. Complete professionalism throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC job.

Our 1980s furnace died late April and once I chose a new furnace (Workhorse) and water heater with Mike’s help they were here installing them within 2 days. Installers were very thorough and took about 8 hours to do it right. They did some extra little jobs to do with my system at a cheap rate too. We financed everything and split with my wife monthly payments will be relatively painless. Highly recommended!

Identified through Yelp.ca requesting service for our “broken” fixed outside A/C Unit.
Call came in almost immediately from these guys asking for an appointment to come and look at the unit. The technician arrived within a
hour and fixed it. Had the necessary parts in his truck and took about 30 minutes to get the unit back on-line. Quick and good service. Strongly recommend them. Invoiced electronically and paid electronically.
What initially appeared to be a major problem quickly went away as if there wasn’t a problem in the first place.

Environmental HVAC Systems installed a heat pump for us in our country home. The installers did a terrific job, despite having to deal with our rose bushes and other foliage. The unit looks great and seems to be working just fine.

Had the guys out to install our gas line for our bbq. They were super friendly and professional, and really funny! I showed them where we wanted it, they gave me some recommendations and double checked where I wanted to install it. They minimized handling of our ceiling tiles as to not damage them, and cleaned up after the install (drilling dust etc). Great installation and really happy with the service. Would use them again for sure

Our old furnace stopped working in January. Mike answered the call Sunday night, provided temporary electric heaters, helped select the new furnace. The crew did an excellent job installing the new equipment. As part of this installation they had to take the exhaust pipe through a tight open dirt crawl space to reach an outside wall. I had a couple questions about the new furnace after that Friday night and Saturday - Mike was available to answer them. This is a business you can rely on
