WARNING: Do not buy wood or marble furniture from EQ3 unless you are interested in the headache and cost of finishing and sealing it yourself! I bought a Mesa Round Marble table and a Drum Coffee table from EQ3. Salesperson advised us that they had similar pieces and they were very easy to clean and care for. What they did not volunteer to inform us was that both pieces were UNSEALED and UNFINISHED. These were both RAW pieces of furniture. Only once we took these home and noticed how porous and easily they were stained simply from water, we did research and realized this is how these products were sold to us in this unfinished state. Trying to clean the stain made it worse. EQ3 declined to take items back or honour our warranty.

I have never heard of furniture being sold unfinished and demanding such a high price tag. Upon realizing this, and discovering EQ3 has no service to properly finish their own furniture they sell, I went to Moscone Tile to inquire about unsealed Marble. The salesperson was shocked that we would be sold unsealed marble and said that is NOT typical (they are one of the largest suppliers of marble in the GTA). Moscone informed me they would never sell unsealed Marble and do not even sell to public the sealing product they use. They did inform me what product they use in their factory so I could buy it myself online to finish and protect my brand new table.

With the Drum Oak table, we immediately had a water stain and discovered this item was also raw and unsealed! I would now have to take the table to a wood refinisher who informed me that Oak is a very porous wood and would take several applications and days to be properly refinished to make it useable. You can feel the wood grain in the table and I realized this is not how furniture is meant to be sold to the public.

The idea that EQ3 can sell items in this state which are clearly not useable or user friendly unless you wanted to put your furniture on display in a museum, in my opinion is close to being fraudulent. The idea that the customer would have to go through the trouble and cost themselves to properly finish and seal the furniture after purchase without some big warning sign is very very disappointed especially given the price tag on the items and I severely regret purchasing items from EQ3.

When I called EQ3, they were completely defiant and tried to claim that this is typical and some furniture pieces are sold unfinished which is contrary to every other furniture store and refinisher I have spoken to. Extremely disappointing and regretful experience. I would recommend others to avoid this company unless they intend their high priced furniture to be unusable showpieces. Finishing and sealing furniture should be standard and not be left up to the customer after purchase!

There simply are not enough words or sentences I could write with how un-customer service oriented this Liberty Village Stores Managent team of both sore Manager and Assistant store manager are!
I bought nearly 12k worth of furnishings, half of which were from this location. One of the main pieces was a Bed Set. This bed was on sale (store model) and fact that it was in stock was the main reason I agreed to buy the store model. I bought and fully paid for it same day with promise that I would get it delivered within 2-3 weeks max as the store was waiting for their replacement.

Unfortunately, 5 weeks past and when I didn't get a call for delivery I called the head office who later transferred me to the store who's Assistant Manager in a condescending tone proceeded to lecture me that, upon purchase I was told that they would only release the sofa once their replacement had arrived. I proceeded to plea that in a few days was father's day weekend and without the bed my kids could not stay over as we had planned for the weekend. We'll, this went on cold deaf ears of the Assistant manager as she continued repeating that they were not ready to release this discontinued floor model because it would leave a gap in their showroom which in my opinion is ridiculous especially if someone walks up to their second level which is overly cludedered.

I gotta say people buy from people and this store manager and her assistant are likely the coldest and unfriendly people I have met in a long time. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone who might potentially have a customer service issue with their purchase as the management does NOT CARE!

Had a great initial experience ordering our couch and expectations were set that the fabric was backordered and couch wouldn't be available for 4 months.we finally received the couch and the chair core was the wrong size.we call customer service and they said their manufacturing operations entered the order wrong.not the store's fault, but incredibly upsetting.the fabric is on backorder again.and the customer service said earliest is July-August. That's completely unacceptable.

They should be able to find an alternative solution to manufacture this fabric overnight and get me the correct chair cores yesterday.
Not sure how operations can be managed so wrong. And why is there a second manual entry of an order. We were really excited but now the experience is ruined and we're stuck waiting again.

I expect to be compensated somehow. You've already taken my money and now you're making me wait for half a year.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a couch it's been 4 months! Still no time frame, and no apology nothing. Well beyond the expected 8-10 weeks initial estimate.

All our friends who've ordered couches from crate and barrel, mobilia have gotten theirs in a reasonable time - stay away. Go to a different store and you'll get your furniture in a decent time

We biting a nice Two Bedroom condo in Liberty village “ and went out to see you your store. EQ3 — Terrible service! Disappointed! Snooty Girls. Went there two times with my Wife and No Even “ hello “”or how could I help you “”? They were just sitting there, they were not busy with other Customers! Close down the store Please! Wall Mart is Hiring! Good luck to the lazy Women working “ there! Close down the Store. Wall Mart is Hiring let’s go ladies!

Everyone I dealt with with this transaction were attentive, from the showroom visit, to the email correspondence to the phone call order. All handles with ease.

Deandra was very helpful and made our in-store furniture shopping experience exceptional. Deandra took the time to go through the fabrics pinpointing what would be suitable for our lifestyle and showed us the couches we were interested in.

Accessibility: automatic door opener, elevator to the second floor, but it was challenging to maneuver through some narrower areas in the showroom with a wheelchair.
