My wife, granddaughter and I went to Equator Coffee for breakfast today. We had never been before and we were not let down. Service was prompt and friendly and our Latte's and breakfast was outstanding. Our granddaughter had the toasted cheese and tomato and my wife and I each had a wrap filled with beans, fresh spinach, scrambled eggs and bacon. The wraps were outstanding! Thank you. My granddaughter (age 2) ate her entire sandwich. The latte's were very good as well. We will be back. Thank you Equator staff of Saturday morning Dec 30,2023 at 9: 30am

This review is not for the coffee which is actually very good.
This review is for the poor set up in Kanata.
Went to drive through at 5.05pm Wednesday. Sat there for five minutes waiting to be served. Nothing.
Eventually gave up, drove around the bend and saw an employee through the window. They said they closed at five (firstly what kind of food business closes at 5). But there are absolutely no signs that tell you the store is closed, there is a huge blockade that prevents visual to the store. The lights are fully on, there is nothing to suggest that the store is closed at 5.05pm.
This truly needs to be addressed as it’s a terrible set up which is going to frustrate many potential clients.

HFT Donuts in the city! YAAAS
Update: been twice now and they have a good selection but not the FULL range. Not a negative just facts. So say HFT main store has ~20 varieties, this location has about ~10 of their most popular types. Or two flavors of filled powdered jelly vs the six they have in Almonte.
I recommend their apple fritters and the cinnamon sugar ring!

Love everything about this place, espresso is very good & the date squares are amazing️

Top coffee! Didn’t make me miss Toronto coffee at all. Definitely my go to every time I’m in town!

A variety of different types of seats and a good number of staff. I have been there two times and enjoyed their cozy atmosphere. The coffee tasted good.

Coffee is very expensive.
I do not like the taste of coffee, but that is me.

I will never return to a place that does not have courtesy and respect for a tired mother of visible minority who is eager for first coffee of the morning and is kicked out simply because she has special needs. BBB will look into this issue and take further action.

It is a very nice place with great coffee and great service. I may have a weakness for the Nanaimo bars.

Good coffee, muffins were just okay, service was good but place way too noisy.just bad acoustics with normal conversations at lots of tables.

I really enjoy coming here after school it truly is beautiful and the staff are so nice! My only issue is that food items feel overpriced for what they are.

I had a superb Flat White here, and I'll definitely be back for many more. I enjoyed the friendly and relaxed vibe too)

Ordered a peppermint hot chocolate and it was so delicious! Very nice flavour and came with foam on top. The cafe is gorgeous and staff is kind and welcoming.

Great place to meet a friend, great place to step out of the rat race for a while, super friendly staff, best coffee in the Ottawa area, stop in and take a load off, sip, sup, sigh!

Very friendly and open. Ample seating and the quality of the product is spectacular. Very happy that a location is now in Kanata.

They have the best coffee in town. Got a flat white and its one of the best coffee I have had. Staffs are super nice. Definitely a must try for coffee lovers. And they have good ambiance.

The coffee is great. Was a little surprised to pay $4.50 for a small dry, hard cupcake though.
