Coffee is amazing. The blueberry muffin is my favourite.
Patience is required because the operation is not as efficient as some places.

Coffee is excellent. Atmosphere is good with lots of seating. Service was average though borderline rude the day I went.

My biggest critic will be the prices versus sizes.their small lattés come in what looks almost like a shooter glass and their large lattés come in what I would consider a (very) small cup. For the prices, the coffees are double the amount for half the quantity (as opposed to Starbucks for example).

I love this place, excellent place for work if you have to catch up on something. The only downside is that they will give you a limited access to wifi which can be a downside if you are planning to meet up with friends for bit then work. I think for some of us the idea of coffee shop is most likely where you run to get your work done when it’s impossible somewhere else. Not having access to wifi can be frustrating mostly if you are in the middle of your work and you don’t have data. Hope this can be fixed somehow just like other coffee shops

Loved their tea collection and the service was great, only downside is that thier wifi is limited to 1 hour per device.

If you choose take away you get more beverage for the same price plus tip.

And tip doesn’t mean you get nice service. I felt like a fool (even though I am a paying customer) for expressing dismay that my tea with latte style milk was served with the tea bag still in it. The surly servers were not interested in my explanation on how to properly brew tea. “This is how we do it here”.

Sweet staff, lots of space and patio seating. Accessible washrooms on site. Parking can be hard to find on the weekend.

It’s a very nice place. Coffee is generally good. Unfortunately, my iced americano today turned out to be very sour. In addition, brewed coffee “for here” is served in the paper cups for some reason.

Love this location (haven't been to any others) - spacious, patio seating, single tables, counters, good variety! The coffee is delicious, and we had the breakfast sandwiches which were excellent. Staff are friendly too.

Nice place to stop for a coffee. Atmosphere is light and friendly. Nice change from the predictable stuff you get elsewhere. Been a few times and did takeouts too and found the experience generally good. Would return. Love the staff honesty about ingredients used.

Quick service with dine in available. They don't have a designated parking lot but there is ample street parking around.

I would probably say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! The staff were super friendly, and the variety of coffee served in the ambiance was very satisfying. If you like your coffee shops, then this is a must-visit! I will be back again! Highly recommend.

The coffee is perfect. The food and snacks are great. The service is stellar, the staff are amazing. Kudos to the manager and the staff for creating such a friendly atmosphere and consistently delivering an excellent service. The experience is unforgettable. Thank you so much!

Their app is dendable and simple. Quality coffees. Food is real and sandwiches are freshly made. So give them at least 10 minutes to prepare if you order by app. Staff are personable and make me feel welcome.

Had to go to the chiropractor on the way remember this café was on the route then I started thinking about all the bad experiences I’ve had the past. Then show up and it’s closed at 5 PM. Do they want to be business?

This was such a pleasant experience, food, beverage and meeting wise.

Equator has as charming hipster environment with clean dining-in areas divided by clear acrylic screens. Service is super friendly and fast.

I had the very tasty "Jittery Chicken" sandwich which was delicious, I particularly liked the flavor that the coffee rub have to the chicken, will be ordering again on my next visit, for my beverage I had a pretty tasty Chai latte, it was really well executed and I was able to taste the cardamom, clove and cinnamon, my only issue was that I found it a tad sweet, which kind of challenged the perfume of the spices, then yet again that's my personal taste.

All-in-all it was a wonderful experience and can't wait to visit again once that I found myself walking down Ottawa's lively and friendly streets.

Best coffee in Ottawa. Great service and staff. Food and snacks are great! Good selection of home coffee equipment and beans too! We often get freaking good but the single origin is often excellent.

Equator seawater tastes better than this swill. But Westboro's campy hipsters love it. Highly overated.

Excellent food and friendly service. They are small so often have a line-up but worth the wait.

I buy coffee beens from them. They are always well roasted and fresh. I also usually buy cappacino. It is lovely and very smooth.

I picked up a bag for the cottage. Ground it up and used a Bodum press.amazingly good! I'll be back soon.

Store staff were friendly and helpful. I bought a bag of Outlier Coffee. It is listed as DARK but when I opened the bag the coffee beans were a very light brown not black as dark coffee beans should be. The coffee was super weak.

I emailed the company's main office asking if they had maybe mislabeled the bag. It has been a week and still no response.

My one start rating is for the customer service on their website/head office not the store staff.

I buy most of my coffee beans from here. Always taste great plus service is always top notch. They're serious about covid safety too which I really appreciate!

Friendly staff and great drinks. I love that they have a variety of vegan and gluten free options so that everyone can enjoy something.

Always high quality beans and excellent roasting skill, and the flat whites are the best in the city.

Still take-out only. Beans are available and coffee equipment. An interesting selection of canned beer, too. Customer washroom is open.

There are three reserved parking spaces in the lot adjacent.

Great independent coffeehouse in Westboro offering some mighty fine brews, beans, and food. Their nitro cold brew is always a pleasure when available. Good selection of roasted beans usually in stock. Support local and check this place out if you haven't had a chance!

A fair amount of options with decent customer service. I would re-evaluate seating arrangements. Those stools are far from comfortable.

The quality of the coffee was exceptional. The customer service standard is definitely up there. You truly feel like your in a quaint part of Ottawa. Only feedback which completely unrelated to coffee was the overly slow wifi, however the coffee shop still manages to walk away with 5/5 stars overall.

If you're expecting a good cup of coffee don't come here. Premium prices with instant coffee taste. The staff were not helpful and it took a long time to get served. I drink decaf coffee and many places almost find it annoying to serve you and this place is no exception. McDonalds have a better coffee at a fraction of the price. But many of the customers I saw in this joint would gladly pay more for swill than buy a coffee from Tim Hortons or McDonalds.

Great food and coffee and lower than average prices for similar coffee joints. Quite busy and their layout could use some work, but otherwise awesome.

Lovely coffee place! Coffee tastes great, people are friendly and there is usually a place to sit if you want to do a bit of work. I would recommend giving a little discount like other coffee shops if you bring your own mug.

Equator coffee has a variety of vegan options and wonderful coffee products. There selection offers something for everyone taste. The environment is cozy and welcoming. The have one of the nicest coffee shops in the city. They also generously donate to many of the charities that I volunteer for.

Consistently great coffee. Good atmosphere. Often crowded because it is so good. During the summer there is a nice patio deck at the side

I love a smooth espresso, and I have yet to taste one more than that at Equator. They have all the various iterations of espresso and milk available, and carry alternative milks as well. I've noticed almond and oat milk, but there might also be others. They have a display case full of baked goods, most of which are gluten free. I don't know when I had this much choice at a coffee shop! The atmosphere is cosy. A lot of people are working on their laptops at the tables. If you can snag a seat, grab it! There is more seating the deck too.
I highly recommend this place. Support local! Especially when it's this good!

They make a fantastic Americano! I was pleasantly surprised by the food selection and quality of their coffee products. They also have a wide selection of craft beers on hand. The facilities are very clean and full of ample and comfortable seating if you’re looking for a place to buckle down and get some work done. The only down side is their lack of accessible parking. There are literally no accessible spots in their parking lot, which seems to be filled with employee reserved spots. They need at least one accessible parking spot in their lot.

Love this place! The atmosphere and people make the already excellent coffee even better. It's calm and quiet. Perfect for people trying to get work done or sit back and relax after a long day.

The perfect environment to zone out on work or meet with friends over awesome coffee, sweet treats, snacks or beer. Plus they have oat milk! I suggest you try their Nitro Cold Brew Coffee if you get the chance.

Not very welcoming vibe. Obviously it caters to a particular crowd. And for parking, you literally have to argue with other people for a space. You'll get everynow and then some employee from a nearby business coming towards you claiming 'that spot'is 'their parking spot' even though it's clearly a public space. I really want to say their coffee tasted good, but just another place jumping on the 'fair trade coffee' plus 'hipster' bandwagon.

Update. Brewing coffee for 21 years huh. Yeah that's pretty good, for brewing horror tasting bad coffee for twenty one years.

Café délicieux, endroit sympathique et chaleureux. Beaucoup de lumière naturelle. On y est bien installé pour travailler et les employés sont très accueillant. J’adore!

Very nice iced cappuccino on a spicy day in early July. Atmosphere was simple and pleasant. Staff were laid back and also very pleasant. Bike racks out front and plenty in the neighborhood with bike paths and lanes to the door. Look forward to the next time in Westboro and looking for that ice cold caffeinated beverage to sustain me on the rest of my bike ride.

Lovely local roastery with plenty of seating, free wifi, DELISH coffee and a wide variety of sweets and snacks.

I like the vibe in this place. But, I visited them during weekend and asked for an Americano. In my surprise, they made it by adding a shot of espresso to 10 oz of hot water.so basically a diluted espresso! This is ridiculous, as water needs to run through coffee beans/powder. Needless to say, the result tasted aweful. My suggestion, go for a Latte instead.

Dark roast coffee was too light and fruity for my taste. No raw sugar at the milk and sugar station.

Lots of and a variety of space. Coffee, snacks, food and beer. Great staff. Tasty coffee. Free WiFi. My local cafe while I'm in the area.

Nice relaxed place with a nice variety of places to sit, meet, read. Coffee is very good. My only complaint is that the employees don't seem to interact with the customers much as they are too busy talking to each other. I've been there about four times and I am reminded of that each time.

Great tasting coffee and lovely interior! Their snacks/desserts are yummy too. It can get a little crowded but still enjoyable. My little one loves their hot chocolate!
