Came here for a butter tart but they only had pecan bourbon which I’m not a fan of. I did love the chocolate tart with salter caramel. That was delicious. Service was very friendly.

Didn't realize cash only, didn't have bank card. Offered etrans and apparently they don't accept it. All good my fault, but on way out another customer told me they take etrans. Pretty annoying customer experience after waiting in line.

Great bakery, amazing service and the almond croissants are to die for! Guelphs best stop for breakfast

I was there the last long weekend and had an incredible experience. They were about to close, but the man in the front was so patient & kind. Will 100% be back and will recommend to others.

If you judge a French baker by his baguette, then you will be disappointed. Needs a bigger sign saying cash only or an ATM on premises.

This is one of the best bakeries in town. I like the danish and croissants. It gives me a taste of France. On the weekend it usually has a line-up. So go early if you like to get the fresh goodies. A couple things to note are that they close pm Sundays and cash only.

I randomly stopped in today and was amazed. Very traditional bakery with staff that were patient, friendly, and engaging. So happy I found this place and I will be back again. If you’re looking to support a great local business with traditional baked goods, this is the place to be. Well done and thank you for an excellent visit today!

So, I'm hesitant to make this review because it might attract even more people and make the line up longer lol, but I am going to make this review because I'm leaving the city in 2 weeks. Eric the Baker is an absolutely amazing piece of france in the middle of guelph. It's a small bakery that has lots of different delicious things, especially the sausage rolls, but they also have lots of delicious options for vegetarians. Make sure you bring spare cash though since they don't take credit or debit. Anyways, easy 10/10 place.

Oddly, they do not slice the loaves of bread after your purchase. The pain de mie is delicious. Cash only.

This Pastry Chef is an absolute GENIUS! Best Croissants in Canada. Paris France should be embarrassed!
