Self checkout has a max of 15 items, even mid week when all self checkout kiosk’s are open.
Absolute bush league operation.

This store frustrates me. Items always scanning for a higher price than any flyer or label in store. Instead of correcting the price, it's always some reason the customer is wrong despite consumer laws. Tonight they just took the item away and said 'so you don't want this'. No, I want the item at the advertised price but it's so frustrating arguing everything every time I go.

Before the increase in grocery prices, thus was my grocery store of choice. It's always clean and organized, though it is now no cheaper shopping here than anywhere else. I usually go from Dundas to Waterdown, but since the hike in prices, I won't bother driving the distance unless it's convenient in that moment.

Love coming here. They always have sale items in stock. Beautiful, fresh produce. Friendly cashiers, ample parking, and the odd super deals on the discount racks!

Always choose Eric's for all your grocery needs, friendly staff, lots of selection, fresh fruits and veggies! They sell foreign foods as well which tickles my fancy. Thanks a lot Eric, you dun good kid!

Doesn't share as much of the harsh lighting as other no frills stores and produce seems to be handled well/fresh.

One of the nicest cleanest no frills I've been to.international section leaves a bit to be desired

Honestly. Whats with no baskets? Yet you sell baskets and all other no frills or other brands have them. Enough bs is enough i now go to sobeys

Great prices.just closes too early for a real family that's busy and can't get there at normal hours, staff is friendly, if it lacks anywhere? It's the meat and frozen meats feel and taste IQF, Individually quick frozen, just not same quality as fortinos, not a fair comparison for quality, but u get what u pay for. Seems fairly clean, I'll be back to really check out the meat department, still great prices if your on a budget, now the vegetable section seems quite in check with comparison to other big box stores. WILL DO A FOLLOW UP SHORTLY. KEEP SAFE ALL.

Good selection and prices, but having to find a quarter today in order to get a shopping cart is beyond ridiculous. I commented to my partner that after hunting around under my driver's seat to find the right sized coin, I had to take the cart all the back to the storefront to return it. Ya'd think after the inconvenience of having to find a coin in our cashless society there would be handy places in the parking lot to return the carts.

Always clean and well stocked when I've been in, so I'd give it 4 stars - but they lose 2 stars because it's a small-ish store and they let way too many people in to make social distancing practical. Visited on 05-16-21 and they had a kid counting people as they went in, so I expected it to be good. Instead, the place was relatively thronged. Their aisles are narrow to begin with - there is no way you can be 2m apart from someone passing you. They pile displays across the back aisle that runs the width of the store, so you have to be even closer to people to access dairy, and as people round corners from one aisle to another. I get we all don't want to be inconvenienced and have to wait in line, but also I'd like not to get COVID from grocery shopping.

One of the largest and cleanest No Frills location I have been to. One of the reasons for cleanliness can be because this location is relatively new. I hope the owner, staff and it's patrons continue to keep the store near and tidy for a great shopping experience.

One suggestion for the owner, given that the demographics of Waterdown is changing as more and more people are moving in, you should have a larger variety of "Halal" products.

Nicely organized and cleaned. The staff here do a great job at keeping this place running smoothly and are always friendly and helpful when you need them. I usally use the express option to pickup my groceries at my own convenience.

Produce section was the worst! Rotten apples, among other produce.poor selection, nothing stocked properly I'll avoid this section in the future. Overall one of the worst produce sections I've seen

Trying to contact Eric's No Frills in Waterdown, the phone number is a 1-866 number that does not get answered, one the phone for 45 mins so far.brutal customer service. Just trying to contact a manager.good luck!

Wouldn't let anyone into the store because the staff were messing around and not getting buggies. Strawberries on sale.all covered in mold. Cashier miserable

Huge gap in Customer Service for online order shopping. They keep dropping items from my order with "no substitution" noted in an email at pick-up time. Then when personally inquiring claim the reason is they're not able to change brands. That's not what the Policies online state. Substitutions aspects of your Policy do not talk about Brand crossing, they actually say you're just supposed to call and ask. You're even allowed to put the substitution in and I can reject it. Following your own policies isn't a Frill, it's just basic customer service.

Used online ordering to get curbside groceries. Curbside does not exist for this location you must go inside to pick up your bags. No employees at the front to screen or control the flow of people and the sanitizer bottle was empty. Almost all my produce was rotten or went rotten within 2 days. I also did not receive a receipt to check my order was fulfilled correctly. When I filled out the online survey I received a call from the woman who fulfilled the ordered and she immediately and rudely accused me of lying on my survey and that my concerns were not her problem and should be taken up with corporate offices. Unacceptable Customer Service

Since ordering my groceries on line life has been much better. Since Covid began their has been a couple of occasions when they couldn't fill my order completely but when ever possible they have made substitutes that have always been satisfactory. No Frills is doing a great job given the circumstances of the threat in today's society.

My go to grocery store. Fresh baked goods are the USP of this store. Staff is good as well. Aisles are organized and stuff easy to find. What else do you want from a grocery store? Of course the prices are competitive. They even do price-match which sadly Walmart has discontinued.

Well stocked, friendly. They do a good job with COVID safety, which is nice. Plus they had what I was looking for, unlike the one on Upper James.

I was just in store. Picked up a light sliced Rye bread pack advertised in store on the shelf for 2.00. Went to the till to proceed to checkout. My mother checked out first & realized the Rye bread was charged at 3.87. Corrected it with the cashier before I paid. Manager Michelle came over and refused to price my bread at 2.00 as it was advertised on the shelf in store. They also didn’t compliment their usual policy of making items free when mispriced for my mother. Not sure why, it wasn’t our fault that the item was mispriced or had the wrong barcode in store. I know it’s just 4 dollars. But it’s the principle of the situation.

Very clean and well stocked store lots of room to walk around. Beats the stores in Hamilton especially the store on Main street east

Best No Frills in the area. Worth the drive from downtown Hamilton. Clean, bright, great selection, reasonable prices, heaps of parking. Staff are friendly and it's never that busy. Definitely the best No Frills in the Hamilton area!

It's new and better quality than other no frills. Cheapest prices.will price match with walmart, food basics, Fortinos, sobeys and freshco.

They need to haul the small item baskets down to the car wash and blast the debris off them every once in a while. You have to sort through them and find the least disgusting one. Mention it to the "upper level" staff and they give you a dumbfounded look, shrug their shoulders, and walk away.

Great prices for brands I love. Staff is friendly. Do need to empty their cart return area more often though

A great store with a non ware house feel in the inside while shopping. They have a better selection of food and its easier to find parking and to navigate their parking lot.

It is really funny with this store the prices are really high compared to Walmart and others like Sobeys and whenever the price is high they have a tag of Won’t be beat just to take the item blindly with no thinking hhhheeehhh the funny thing this technique works!

Questionable food practices, garbage bags in the bottom of counters. To lazy to clean. Moldy fruit on display, meat is a pre cut and was sitting out on the floor for at least 25 mins

This is one of our regular go to neighborhood grocery stores. One of the nicer No Frills we've been too. Being a President's Choice store, I'd expect to get more PC points on what we buy, but that's not the case.

We come to this location because its bigger and cleaner than the Brand street location. A lot more parking as well.

Whoever designed the layout between checkout and the aisles did a terrible fail, or they just need to schedule cashiers better. Weekend lines are ridiculous. Also if you purchase any confectionery items at the checkout, double check the price it rings up at. 4 purchases on 4 seperate occasions and each time charged more than the posted price. Is it really that hard to update your prices or to change out price tags?

The produce was much bette and displayed much better then my No Frills in Ancaster pleasantly surprised also very clean!

All to frequent that the sale items in flyer are are sold out and shelves are emply.why advertise for the week if in fact on Saturday shelves are empty

Staff at this location are not very helpful. I was looking for cheesecloth and I asked 5 different people for help. Needless to say I came home without it. Found it easily at Fortinos. Only asked one person there.

Very clean and well stocked store. The employees were very pleasant to deal with. Cashier was so sweet to my daughter.

I had been avoiding no frills grocery stores for the past fewe years after getting tired of driving there for their super sales to find empty shelves and or little to no selection. However I was soo impressed with this store! Super clean super well stocked big store with a nice layout! Really happy I decided to stop and shop here as I was just driving by! The produce looked really good and fresh too!

I couldn't afford a cart because I didn't have a loonie. Had to carry everything in my arms - which never happens at Whole Foods.

I love this store! It's easy to get around the store, clean, well lit, and friendly helpful staff. The cash lines moved quickly as well

All the staff here are as slow as frozen snails. So brutal. Maybe some proper training on how to ring up oranges?
