I walked into Erin Mills Acura, as I originally planned on financing my vehicle after my lease term was over. Simon was very thorough with me and asked all the important questions on why I wanted to finance my car instead finding a new lease. He gave me a step by step process and clearly labeled out all my options, if I were to finance the car compared to leasing a new car. Simon ended up giving me an amazing deal where I was able to trade in my vehicle and got a significant amount of cash back which was used to get into a 2024 VW Jetta. I am extremely satisfied with the service that Simon provided, and would recommend him to anyone looking to get a new car. Thanks Simon

First off, I would like to say how highly impressed my husband and I are with Erin Mills Acura. We went in on Tuesday evening October 31st, 2023. Let me start by saying from the minute we walked in the sales manager Harjosh, greeted us within 1 minute with a warm welcome and offered us a beverage. He asked us how he can be of service and told us to take our time to look around. He reassured us that whenever we are ready the sales advisor Sean Lee would take care of us. Let me mention Sean and Harjosh were not pushy nor judgemental, only positive vibes and energy throughout the entire experience. After my husband and I decided what we were looking for we went over to Sean. From beginning to end Sean listened to our needs, as we wanted to do a trade in a 2019 Honda Civic, he explained everything asked if we would like to get the car appraised, to see what numbers we are working with. Harjosh did the appraisal of our Honda Civic. Sean ensured us they will provide us with equity back on the vehicle. As stated prior he offered us more than actually expected, which is rare (lets be real on trade in's). Sean was extremely thorough, explained the process from beginning to end, was not pushy and listened to our needs. The overall experience was wonderful from beginning to end. We ended up going with an Acura MDX and all our needs were met. Even meeting with the finance manager (they did not try to upsell any extended warranty or extra features for the car) a bonus as most dealerships do this these days as we are aware it's a business. On the day of pick up November 03,2023 (they had stock =) of the model we were looking for) the delivery was smooth and seamless. Sean took his time to go over everything with us and ensured a seamless transition. He even followed up with us the next day to see how the vehicle was driving. We even got to meet the General Sales manager Karan (who left his meeting) to thank us for our business and thanked my husband for returning a clean car when he did not have to clean the car upon return. We are BEYOND pleased with our overall experience. You felt like you were dealing with a relative (guiding you truthfully) more than a business. The entire team was professional, genuine and most of all welcoming. We found in the past some dealerships like to perceive you based on outward appearance especially being a family who identifies as black, we felt welcomed and that the team was culturally responsive and appreciative to their clients needs and we THANK YOU (this is so very important and as a family we are huge on cultural responsiveness and awareness)! I had come to this location to try the RDX and the MDX. I am a Southeast Asian woman under 5 feet. I had told the sales rep who I was introduced to about my want to test drive both cars. The sales rep kept repeating that its a big car and was unwilling to let me test drive it until my husband told him that it was a my car and I wanted to test drive it. After I walked out I was disappointed with the way I was treated and when the rep called to follow up I told him that I would not be working with Acura for my new purchase because of his attitude.

Sales manager Simon Dai is very helpful and friendly. I got a really good trade in value of my Civic here. And all the process and negotiation went quick and smooth. He has really good point of view on what you need and the future value of your car that you having now. I just got my new 2023 Integra A spec 6MT here. Love the car. Don’t buy used cars from them. They are scammers, they were trying to sell me a 2022 MDX. They claimed it has no accidents, they even printed me the car fax report which shows no accidents.

Lucky enough before buying the car i wanted to check the bluetooth connection, i recognized the previous owners names who happen to be my friends. This was their leased car that was involved in a major accident (27k claim), and was fixed at the same dealer (acura erin mills) i called them and confirmed that the VIN number is the same as the VIN number of their car on the police report.

Car VIN number is 5J8YE1H36NL800902
Acura MDX 2022.

I suggest you check it’s file in the MTO to review all police reports listed on this car.

Funny enough the sales manager who was trying to sell me the car is the same person who my friend was following up with to get his car back after being repaired (he showed me the emails).

Bottom line, the body shop which is managed by acura does not report to Carfax so the accident will never get reported, allowing them to re-sell the car without claiming that it had an accident.

When i confronted the sales manager and the general sales manager, at the beginning they were defending their position, when i was about to leave they started to offer me other stuff, i guess they were trying to cover up what they did.

Update on August 31,2023:

Talked to Service Manager Allen. Very friendly and reasonable person. He made sure the problem is debugged properly and made a temporary fix. He also worked to fix plastic rattling noise from the passenger side window. They will work on a permanent fix later when the harness arrives. Additionally, the front door driver side seal will need work. I will update the review after that work.

I went to Erin Mills Acura service department for the first time to repair the memory seat position issue on my 2019 MDX on June 08,2023.

The issue I reported:

The car seat and steering wheel don't go to their set position by itself. After entering the car, I had to press the switch & then it was going to its proper position.

Timeline:

June 08,2023:

They said I had three key fobs registered to the car. However, I had only two key fobs. They thought one of the key fob is hidden inside the car. They suggested I reprogram my keys and take the 3rd key fob out of the equation. This seemed like a weird diagnosis to me. However, I agreed at that time and paid $291.48 for reprogramming. They booked me for another day as the reprogramming of key fob couldn't be tested that day. Additionally, the reprogramming did not help memory seat position issue.

June 30,2023:

They diagnosed the issue is coming from power window master switch. Ordered the part. Booked me for another after the part arrival. The issue was covered under the extended warranty.

July 7,2023:

They replace the driver master switch, which does not solve the issue. They had to order another part for master switch assembly.

August 22,2023:

They replace the new part. Tested and the service advisor said he checked the issue is fixed over phone. While picking up my car, I checked and the issue was not resolved at all. I show the issue again to service advisor and technician foreman. The foreman said they need to replace the steering wheel column. They ordered the part on that day.

August 29,2023:

The steering wheel column is replaced. The service advisor called me and said he and the foreman both checked, and the issue is now resolved. I went to pickup the car after hours. I checked the car and I saw the issue is still there.

It's been 5 times going there with the same issue. I don't think they have a grasp on the issue at all. What bothered me more was the misinformation. The service advisor kept on saying he checked the issue while he didn't.

After each service visit, the dealership calls you to provide feedback. I provided feedback two times. After August 22,2023 visit, during feedback call, I wanted to talk to a manager. I was never forwarded to one. After August 29,2023 service, I again wanted to talk to the manager of the service department, and I was forwarded to the same service advisor.

We met Harry Shivnani, sales & leasing consultant 3 days back. He showed us a good range of second hand cars in RDX series. He also helped us understand Acura brand very nicely & was kind enough to accompany us for the test drive where he spoke more about the particular model we were interested in. Finally, on the day of delivery he went through all the documents & reviewed the car again with us. He showed us all the detail work, we had requested him to get it fixed by his detailing team. Amazing work on the car it looked brand new. Must say Harry, you have a great balance of professionalism & personal touch. Thanks for everything once again. Highly recommend anyone who is interested in Acura, must consult Harry Shivnani.

We were greeted by Wilson Lin with a giant warm smile with a nice firm handshake. Also Wilson had a great sense of humour, great laughs over the short period of time with him. We went through the CARFAX info, negotiated my trade in value. Wilson broke down the cost of the vehicle including any options/packages/fees and taxes. Everything was transparent and all of our questions were answered. The whole Erin Mills team came by to congratulate us on our new purchase. We quite enjoyed the experience of purchasing a car at Erin Mills. I may need to apply for a job here as the vibe on the floor was amazing.

Unprofessional Sales & Leasing Consultant/Product Advisor

This was my first visit to an Acura dealership. Last week, I went there on the recommendation of an existing customer of the dealership with the intention of negotiating and signing a lease agreement for a new vehicle.

Unfortunately, my interaction with Josh B, the Sales & Leasing Consultant/Product Advisor, was my worst Customer Service experience at any dealership that I have ever worked with over the years.

He was arrogant, condescending, and outright rude. He would not give me a chance to talk and would not listen to anything I had to say or ask.

The interaction left me speechless for a while, wondering what kind of dealership I had walked into. I had to actually stop him talking to let him know that his behavior was arrogant, rude and totally unprofessional. At that point, he did apologize however, he promptly left and disappeared leaving me hanging. Very strange. Disappointed.

Management should ensure he receives basic customer interaction training so that other potential customers are not humiliated.

Removing my five star rating for this dealership. While the sales process was great I can't say the same thing for the service side. One of the toggles doesn't work on the steering wheel all the time (more often than not). Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.but when you buy an Acura of all things (especially at this price point) you would expect to have everything work especially when the issue was from the start. Neither the dealership or Acura Canada wants to assist. Kept being told by the dealership that there is nothing wrong to well "Hopefully with the next update it will fix itself" or by Acura Canada that I could pay another dealership to run tests and see if the other dealership can find the issue (thanks acura for the great advice but why on earth would I pay another dealership for your problem). Gm never once responded to my emails. Never again with this dealership or Acura. Take your business elsewhere

Great Customer service

I recently had a small part break in my 2015 Acura RDX. So I decided to call Erin Mills Acura to inquire about a replacement. The parts employee was very knowledgeable and knew exactly which item I needed. To my surprise it was much cheaper than expected. I went in a few hours to pick it up. Shan Merinnage from the service department aided me with replacing it as I am not the handiest person. Needless to say I left the dealership a very happy customer

Had a pleasure to work with Sean Lee as my Sales Executive, he did a phenomenal job to provide me with necessary details to acquire new RDX tech package, plus went above and beyond to add some perks like free oil change at each service. I really appreciate that.
Other staff members like Karan and Jagdeep were helpful too, and they went above and beyond to get me approved with Zero down even if I was in landed status.
I gave 4 stars due to the fact that even if at the end I got the car with Zero down, had to face some delays in overall process, got some negative surprises during the transaction (like need to give some $5k-$6k as a security deposit that no one told while booking the car), got a suggestion to take Silver (when I booked for a Gray), had 99 kms on Odometer at the time of delivery (as they had to drive it from another dealer, why not tow it instead, as with 99 kms on odometer, its not new anymore).

But overall, I would say, its a bitter sweet experience for me, I got the car I wanted, with some hiccups. I will share another review once I visit Erin Mills acura for my first service.

I wasn’t given full satisfaction on the purchase of my new car. Karan was the guy I was dealing with. He wouldn’t slightly budge for anything I ask for and didn’t provide good customer service. They don’t write what you want explicitly then hold you accountable for something you weren’t given. Don’t do any deals with Karan.

However Alijca and Kayla were amazing sales girls and they did an awesome job on making sure I get what I want. They even worked after hours for me and did their job well. You should go to either one of them.

I recently went into Erin Mills Acura for a routine B1 service and had a couple extra services added on for the benefit of my Acura TL. The service I received from Alan, Omar, and Paige was exceptional, as per usual! I felt respected and valued and I was especially impressed with the friendliness! I ended up with my battery dying on me and as soon as I called Paige, she had someone assist me with a boost and then Alan followed up along with Omar by replacing my battery immediately while I waited with a complimentary massage chair experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Erin Mills Acura and I want to especially thank Alan, Omar, and Paige! Awesome work!

I had a bad experience with Erin mills acura when i brought Acura RDX they promised that they will provide winter mats without any cost. When I went to take delivery they refused. No one responds after so many followups even i referred a friend there and they started blackmailing once my friend buys the car they will provide mats. Don't ever think to go to this dealer worst customer service.

Second time getting a new car from this dealership in the past 5 years or so. Most of the personnel is different but this dealership is still pretty good at reaching out to see if you need help relatively soon after you enter, and are no-pressure.
The sales team was also good and respectful throughout the process. Soni in particular was great during and after the purchase and made sure that a potential issue was mitigated, and Gio was also helpful throughout the process.
Would highly recommend their sales team.

We bought an RDX. Mohammed, my sales person was very helpful and took extra effort to explain the RDX. Gamal, the General Sales Manager also took extra effort in explaining the pricing. I would rate their effort very good.

I did not care about the cost of the RDX as long as I got the feeling that I paid the right price. Even though Gamal explained the pricing, I remained doubtful about that. I don't think it would be fair to blame them, it is just the way the pricing and car deals are made.too complex for any one to figure what the total price of the car is!

I started my day planning to buy a car of another brand and I don't know how I ended up in Acura Erin Mills finishing a deal of buying a beautiful car, and I enjoy driving it so much.

I have to say I've bought a few cars in my day and the experience I had at Erin Mills Acura, specifically with Geovany Martinez none can compare to. He helped me throughout the process, with selection, weather I should lease or Finance - I chose leasing after he presented the many benefits. Also, his patience, know all, and sincere approach left my family and I with an unforgettable experience. I went to Erin mills Acura today to fix my Radio /Audio and was blown away with the world class top of the line customer care service by a specialist named Alan Vong. His genuine advise and tip saved me lot of bucks which i would have spent at another dealership if i had not been to Erin mills Acura, Mississauga. Hats of to Erin mills Acura and Alan. Definitely my only stop for all my needs for my beautiful Acura. Hard to find such noble people and an honest dealership now a days. God bless you Alan and God bless you Erin mills Acura. I bought a new car from this dealership last month. I was helped by Alicja Vigna, Sales Rep and her manager Ajay Bushan. I was very satisfied with Alicja's service as she explained everything clearly in detail and found her to be very transparent which I appreciate. I received a good deal and Alicja worked with me throughout the entire process to deliver pleasant experience. I highly recommend dealing with Alicja at Erin Mills Acura to receive trusted advice and will definitely deal with her for future needs!

Had a terrible experience here a while ago with the service department, they told me they would be storing my car in one fashion when it was not. Then head office told them to release my car to me and the service manager refused, this is after the Honda representative gave them the instructions earlier in the day. The service manager flat out lied and said he never spoke with Honda rep that day. I find it hard to believe as I was in contact with said rep throughout the day regarding this matter, especially about me picking up my car up to store it.

For anyone wondering Honda corporate apologized several times for the incident but I had lost faith in the service department and took my car to a different Acura where a great client dealer relationship developed.

Most of these nice reviews are obviously fake. Walked into this dealership. Was not greeted by anyone (just ignored.) Then finally, a salesperson was nice enough to ask me if I needed help (even though they were busy with another customer.) He made a call or announcement to ask someone to help me. That was nice of him and I don't blame him for moving on as he was busy with another customer. I stood in the dealership for 20-25 minutes and no one came to speak to me at all. Now - it was indeed 5pm on Friday. Sure it's one hour before closing, and perhaps folks are busy, but you would think this dealership is interested in getting business. You would think maybe someone would come out and say "sorry sir, its really busy and everyone is tied up.can we make an appointment? " To add insult to injury, the useless secretary saw me checking out cars and asked me if the keys on her desk belonged to me. I politely said no. When walking back as I was roaming the dealership, she asked me again if I was sure that the keys on her desk did not apply to me. I just shook my head and walked away.
This dealership lacks basic customer service. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Pathetic service. Not sure how this dealership has such high reviews. Those bots in Bangladesh must be working OT or something.

I went into Erin Mills Acura about a couple weeks ago as I was in the market for a new vehicle. I ended up getting approached by Jaron Kong. To be honest, I typically hate going to dealerships because the way sales people approach clients can come off a bit aggressive and desperate.
