Went to home hardware today to get the top soil for 2.77 per bag and a large bag of grass seed. On my way to seasonal, I advised the cashier that I would be loading 15 bags of the top soil (my spouse loaded them while I went inside. There were no 25kg bags of seed, so I went to the cash to pay for my top soil. I informed the other young person at the till that I had 15 bags of top soil at 2.77. She stated she would send someone out to assist me. When I explained they were already in my truck she said "you can't do that"! Someone has to load it to make sure you have the right amount. I informed her that if I was going to steal top soil why would I come in to pay? I have bought 100 bags of top soil and rest assured I am not a thief. We are off today and have several projects to accomplish and there were no employees outside. She sent two teen boys out to count my bags of top soil and they confirmed that I am not a soil stealer! I have loaded countless bags of top soil in my truck from a variety of places and this is the first time someone has questioned me when I went in to pay or paid first. It is a nice store, but I am not sure I will be back. I am 60 years old and have never stolen and thing in my life and having a 17 year old question my honesty.

Try calling them never answer the phone. I'll take my business elsewhere

We were quite excited to learn that the new Home Hardware in Essex was going to feature an M&M's frozen food module. Found out that they do NOT honour the sale prices listed in the M&M flyers. I only purchase from M M when items are on sale. This part of their venture is most likely not going to survive

Its small old and need of some tlc, But! New location is being constructed at this moment.cant wait!
