Today at 5: 00 pm, my husband and I was confronted by a racist employee at this Esso station# 00302546 by the manager. I went into the store to pay for the gas, however, as my husband was still pumping gas at Pump 4, I went over to the Tim Hortons section to look at their food selection. I saw the manager leave the counter and proceeded outside to shout at my husband for not paying for the gas in very aggressive manner. My husband told him that I was in the store and that I am paying for the gas. When I asked him why he treated my husband like that and if it was because he was a black person, he looked at me and said that he doesn't care that he is a black person.
I found his behavior to be so disrespectful and when I asked him to apologize to my husband, he did not. I am disgusted by the behaviour of this manager as a simple question could have answered any question that he might have had.

The times I've been here have sucked. Weird employees that just stare at u until u leave, and terrible location in terms of traffic. Idk y anyone would go here instead of the esso on 48 or the ultramar

The guy at the desk is quite rude at times (I come here often to buy gift cards etc) Gift card machine is almost always "broken" and everything is a tad overpriced. But its a gas station don't expect anything unique.

The cashier Samson was too rude and made comments regarding the time a person takes to use the washroom. It was middle of the night and the options were limited and hence had no option but to utilise the service of this particular gas station. The employees should have the minimum courtesy to respect the customers, especially girls.

We came here because the Gas Buddy app said it was the cheapest gas in the area. When we got there, it was $0.01 cheaper than we were told!

The station is well lit. There is no car wash.

There is an attached Circle K convenience store. There is a Tim Hortons inside with a drive-thru.

The price is usually good. However I always seem to put more gas in my tank than normal at other locations. From empty on a 48L tank I seem to put 1-2 litres more in. I'm cautious using them now after noticing this a few times.

Great location on the SW corner of 48 and 16th. Has a Timmies drivethrough. Gas prices are a bit lower after 8pm.

I have heard of this fabled gas station in distant lands that offer deep discounts in the evening to the locals that want to fill up on the cheap. The discount offered was 12 cents off the market price outside which is not too shabby in my books. Be warned, the line ups here can put the Scarborough costco lineups to shame and to top it off, it is a bi-direction lineup rather than the costco ones.
Not bad if you are in the area but not a road trip worthy cause

I'm a tourist when I go to buy lottery ticket, there was a middle aged man at the shop next to Tim Hortons. The person asked for my ID I showed him my National ID and Driver's license, he shouted at me and said only people with Canadian ID can buy. I kept saying I'm a tourist and I'm only here for 1 week. People like this make Canada look bad.

Had station smack on a busy intersection. But hey when you have to fill you have to fill. Good prices after 9pm

I had an absolutely horrendous customer service experience here with the manager named Joseph. I was filling up gas while my child was in the car and my other daughter was inside the store to grab something from tim hortons. The pump was not allowing to me to pay for gas despite trying once already. I was waiting a couple minutes for my daughter to come back so that i could go pay and the rude manager comes outside to knock on my window yell at me to pay- which i was going to do anyway. I go inside 30 seconds later as my daughter comes back and he starts yelling at me and treating me terribly. I told him he was being rude and this is no way to talk to a customer and he yells "I DONT CARE. " suffice to say im NEVER coming back to this terrible pump and i suggest you don't either.

Usually the lowest gas prices in the area, I just wish Esso and other gas stations have the little clicks that allow you to let go of the pump and it will keep filling up, shell stations have them but shell gas prices are usually higher too
