I had an excellent experience here. I know some people have complaints about this place but my experience was really good. The receptionist was polite, the doctor was attentive and gave me enough care and attention, and the nurse provided much better care than I expected. Overall a very good experience

I was there today at 3: 15 and since it was too busy, I asked roughly how long will it take, the lady at the front desk said 2 hours at least. So I said I'll come back in about 2 hours. So, I came back an hour and a half later, but this lady said they called my name and since I was not there, my name is shifted all the way down so I will have to wait another 2 hours. Completely ridiculous!
Atleast they should've informed that if I'm not there when they call my name, I will be moved down the list!

Dr Riya Prashad did my cyst removal surgery and left the wound open. Have to stay in the hospital for a week followed by serious infection. The worst experience ever

Dr. A Zaman needs to be reported and have his license taken away. He doesn't take anything serious, does not diagnose properly. Absolutely useless. Do not go there if you are in pain, or sick he'll just send you home.

NEVER EVER GO TO This place very ridiculous I took my son who had very high fever and door was lock I knocked it and reception came to door it was 8: 40 pm and she said we close I asked why online time shows open until 10 so she said once our capacity full we locked the door for the day when I looked it inside only 6 to 7 people were inside still requested receptionist lady who came at the door can you please take my son who has very high fever but so so so rude and said go to the other place she was very unprofessional attitude I have been never seen it

Went there for a finger injury. Was surprised to find place empty. After initial inspection, was told to go for x-ray, went and came back to clinic with link to see results. Told by receptionist the doctor finished day at 4: 30 and had left. Asked if could see another doctor to confirm x-ray results if finger broken. Told only allowed to see one doctor per day per clinic. So do not know if finger is broken, and the best part is when left an re-entered car, the time was 4: 20. That is probably why such low reviews, no diagnostics on site and unhelpful staff.

ANYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING TO WEAR MASKS OR PUTTING THEM ON THEIR CHILDREN IS IGNORANT AND DOESN’T DESERVE CARE FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT THIS IS TO PROTECT OTHER PEOPLE DEAL WITH IT IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OR DEAL WITH NO MEDICAL CARE BECAUSE YOU DON’T DESERVE IT IF YOU LIKE TO ENDANGER PEOPLE AND YOUR OWN CHILDREN. Be a much happier place without your germs! You still have to wear one if you go to a Hospital and MANY clinics deal with it that’s life now! The vulnerable matter!

Doctors can’t even prescribe the correct refill prescription even after correcting them. As well as requiring a $1 for a disposable mask.

Review #1: I was a bit frustrated on the phone as I had specifically asked if I could be seen in person and even though I asked for clarification, it was unclear what was being offered. So I showed up at the door and although they explained a Dr was going to call me, it ended up being ok to be seen in person. I wish I got the Dr's name as he was one of my favourite doctors I have ever met. He explained everything in great detail, provided reassurance, was super friendly and didn't come across as rushed. At the end of the day, I have been sick for 48 days with no end in sight and this Dr.didn't add anything to what others have already recommended but he was really nice and I am grateful to have finally been seen in person. Would happily see that Dr again.

Review #2 (several months later for a different visit, different reason and very different Doctor) : I am quite bewildered by what happened with my visit with Dr. Muriel Lily. Essentially, I was in a lot of abdominal pain for 16 days straight with a lot of other symptoms. Although I was already being treated by my GP (without confirmation of what my ailment was) my symptoms had grown worse and I was hoping for a requisition for diagnostics to be done through the Urgent Care Clinic. Dr. Lily disagreed with my GP's decisions and then proceeded to do a physical exam. The pain throughout my entire abdomen and sides was really bad as she was placing pressure on it. It was so bad that I was flinching, tensing up and tears were coming out of my eyes. She kept saying over and over that "nothing was wrong", " (I was) ok" and that I was being "too sensitive". I was a bit shocked by this and didn't say much as I instantly felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave the exam. She advised I had food poisoning for the past 16 days straight and there wasn't much to be done about it except to continue to not eat solid foods. She did recommend soup broth, to stop taking the antibiotics and drink electrolytes (one of those things was helpful and I appreciate). She did not feel any requisition for further diagnostics would be necessary other than giving in to when I begged to at least do a urine test. In the next few days I was able to get all the necessary diagnostic requisitions via my very empathetic GP (with a great bedside manner) to discover the pain is associated with a fairly serious medical issue that may require surgery. I really feel for Doctors and the high rate of burn out, especially during COVID but this visit felt unacceptable in the fact that she was pretty aggressive in her touch, wasn't responding to my reaction and came across as very dismissive. My reaction was to question whether I was making up all this pain in my head or being overly-dramatic over nothing. Anyone suffering from any kind of physical abuse (e.g. Domestic) should be advised not go into a room with this Doctor as this kind of behaviour might be devastating to the patient. To each their own in their styles but I would never in my life see this Doctor again and she perhaps would find her skills at touching body parts better suited to working at a butcher shop.

I called like 5 to 6 times today and no one picked up. This is a normal occurrence. Everytime I call their is no one at the desk apparently.

Very great staff. Friendly and efficient. No complaints at all. I recommend. Plus they’re open until 10 p.m that’s a bonus.

They are careless with people, when i have emergency case the doctor don’t do anything and she said me to put some bandage and the nurse told me another opinion, all clinc care about take money from government only

Best place so far I found. I took my 4 year old yesterday.
Rest all clinic including pediatric emergency or walk in they just have to say 1 thing Tylenol Advil. Child is sick since 10+’days and they don’t look up to child. And they say fever is sign of covid - we won’t take.

Found this clinic Dr. A. Kessie looked on to my daughter, he listened what all I had to say. That’s what we want - that our problem are being listened. And prescribed a medicine which was needed. Thank you

System is little strange that we drop message then they call in, I wasn’t familiar with. But came out satisfied. Over all.

Receptionists lie about wait times and make up numbers after 7: 00 because they want to go home by 10. Came 2 days in a row to a locked door and refused 3 hours before close time.

Excellent experience. Very helpful and kind staff. There was minimal wait and the doctor was efficient and helpful. Very organized clinic. I would highly recommend.

Been going here for years. Great service. They usually have a lot of clients on their plate but they still do their best to remain positive. The new phone call only restriction has posed some difficulty, but the new system is still workable

Worst of the worst urgent care. I would never advice anyone to waste their time going to this miserable clinic. Staffs, supervisor and how things are managed are so unprofessional and extremely rude. I have made my registration in the morning online, received a call to come and after asking if there is long wait I was told not at moment. Went there right away and had to wait outside in the cold weather with my child coz they wouldn't open the door. Why was I told to come there if I had to wait freaking 15 ppl ahead of me and what's was the point of registering online if I had to wait for that long. This rude and unprofessional staff called Kamal was so rude and wanted to keep me and my child outside in the cold weather to wait. She wouldn't even allow me to speak to the supervisor. After long argument she came back and said supervisor isn't available, I guess the supervisor Deena didn't want to see me. Honestly very disappointed how patients are treated. They don't even have the compassion for a child who was very sick. I had to walk away without seeing the doctor coz I couldn't keep my sick child there any longer. I booked my appointment in the morning and was told to come 4pm, I stayed there till 640pm and still there were still 7 ppl ahead of me. Very disappointed and would never in my life go there or suggest anyone to go there.i gave zero rating. I will report this clinic how bad patients are treated.

Registered for urgent care, provided all personal details and health card. They did not see me at all, just call back in 15 hours. What urgent care means then after 15 hours?

I had an appointment in July, even though after booking appointment, I was asked to stay outside for more than 30 mins. Then I was told to do blood work and some tests, now it's more than 30 days, that I have not received any callback even though I followed up with them almost every 3-4th day. Everytime I was told that I will get a callback. I am still have not got any feedback on what happened and how to cure it and what should I do.

Don't even waste your time going. Especially if you are elderly. If you can be there 8 hours without eating sure go ahead. I would recommend etobicoke general hospital emergency room instead or anywhere else. They call you for
your turn and if you are outside waiting they put you back on there wait list. I would rate this place a 0 if there was an option.

Please have doctors there that can actually do their job because the care that I was shown today was absolutely unacceptable. No proper diagnosis and tapping fingers on the desk as if he doesn’t have time for my issue. This is fifth time I have encountered this doctor here and has done absolutely nothing for me but rush me out.i hope you guys fix this issue as someone of that nature should not be overseeing the care of families that come in and out their trust into you all. I genuinely feel bad for the receptionists because you guys need to have a better plans in place for all of the patients you have to see on a daily basis. Good day!

Took my daughter to clinic on October 13/2022 at ucc, lady told me to register on phone, which did, after waiting in the car for almost one and half hour sorry our system is not working, then she register at door the we still have to wait inside, there is no first come first serve, absolutely no good place to go. It took more time in walk in clinic then hospital waiting room. Don’t waste time.

I am thoroughly disgusted with the treatment and lack of care at this place. I have left numerous msgs asking if results for an ultrasound have come back and also to make follow up appt as my hand is still swollen, bruised, and raging in pain. Why have a clinic if you can not be bothered returning calls and lack professionalism?
No appts are needed. You are told to come by before 8: 30 pm after they take your info. Then they call you and tell you to come by before 8 pm. When you arrive, several other people are waiting as well. You are expected to call them/text them. They call you in one at a time. I had to ask if they had a seat for me to sit in as I have a cane. The girl had to see. I eventually was permitted in to sit.
I'd like to know what the point is in having voicemail if you choose to ignore it. Furthermore, they need to speak clearer and not so rushed as it is very difficult to understand what they are saying. They called me 2 weeks later and asked me to call them back. I did and got voicemail again. My message was not a pleasant one

This clinic is so unprofessional and rude and will no longer be using their services. Also will no longer recommend this clinic as well, very disappointing experience.

Normally I don't post reviews but I thought it was necessary to share my experience just this once
I initally called in to book an appointment as I was experiencing some ear pain, hearing loss and a crackling noise when I move my jaw. They were able to book me an appointment to come after I was done work in the evening, in which I was grateful because every other clinic stopped accepting patients several hours before they even close. I waited over an hour to see the doctor which isn't too bad considering most physicians are not seeing patients in person right now, and I am experiencing a lot of pain so I figured it was worth the wait, or so I thought. When I finally got into the exam room to see the physician I explained to him my history of ear infections and pain. He looks in my ear for literally 2 seconds and says your ears are fine. He tells me to go home and take a tylenol or advil and if it still persists then come back in a few days. Meanwhile I'm still suffering from ear pain. I felt like either the physician didn't know what he was doing or he was too busy and neglected my pain. It is very unfortunate because I have nothing against the clinic, but I will not be going back here as I feel like my concerns would not be addressed.

This place is an absolute mess. This clinic is clearly just trying to see as many patients as possible with no compassion to actually treat their patients. With covid their entire system makes 0 sense as you’ll be waiting 6+ hours for a call and people after you are seen before. The staff is nice and from what I observed and the interaction I had with them, it is quite obvious that they are incredibly understaffed though which is crazy considering they love pumping patients in and out. Except to be on hold for 15+ minutes and you’ll see one lady handling everything. The system of this clinic needs to be tweaked and management clearly doesnt care about the reputation of the clinic nor its staff from what it looks like. Been to this clinic a few times and definitely WONT BE RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE!

Please avoid the Etobicoke "Urgent" care centre location unless you do not have any other option. I called them 4 times in 2 days, they booked the appointmentbut never called I am sure they are gouging OHIP, pathetic customer service.

Dr. Faiz and all his staff were very helpful and attentive. Had my finger crushed in a truck door and needed stitches asap and was able to see someone and get stitched up within the hour. Follow up also has been amazing. Will recommend this and all clinics going forward.

Do please not go at this place closing time is at 10 pm its like 9 30 and I m outside the place whit a very bad cut on my leg the lady at the door das not even want to speak with me I olso call inside and explain them the situation mentioning i m concerns about tetanus infections cause my cut and they just told me to come back tomorrow morning please do not make my same mistakes

I'm usually not one to write reviews but when it comes to this clinic I have to. I want to save anyone else from going here. I've had nothing but HORRIBLE experiences. The most recent one was with my mother who wasn't feeling too well. I called around 1030 am to book same day appointment, I even went on the website to book just for backup. I called them around 12pm to ask how much longer it would be the receptionist told me there were 3 people ahead of me. Fine. Waited another hour and a half meanwhile people were going in and leaving (was waiting in my car right in front of the building). Called around 1: 45pm asked how much longer, she told me the exact same thing that there are 3 people ahead of me, I said how when I see people leaving and coming in, she had no valid reason just said the doctor went on break. Waited until 230pm called again and she said there are still people ahead of me. I just went with my mom to the next door pharmacy and bought her over the counter medication for the meantime and just left. Basically 4 hours wasted with my mother sick in the car. I called them before I left to let them know of their horrible service, the receptionist was acting like she didn't know what I was talking about. Unbelievable. Never returning here.

Serious issue on Friday, start new job on Tuesday. Doctor and nurses did a great job fixing me up. The ringing in my ear stopped and I hear from this ear clear again. Thanks

Went in today made an appointment @ around 4pm for a phone consultation about my heel and I waited about 6 hours and received no phone call. I call them at 9 the girl working there puts me on hold thinking she's smart. Little does she know I live around the corner so I show up while I'm on hold and the moment I show up she answers the phone like "urgent care clinic how may I help you"? Like seriously? She ignores me then because now she is caught she jumps up and answers the phone. I would definitely love to speak to her supervisor

The clinic helped me over a week with a second degree burn. They recognized it was severe and called me in quickly to get me the right medication and care.

I did have to come in everyday over a week to have it redressed, and during that time there were some of the same concerns as others have mentioned around longer wait times outside of the clinic and not sure if they remembered if I was in the queue.

The staff, once in the clinic, was really wonderful and helpful in getting me the care I needed. I really appreciate the help they provided and would definitely come here again!

Quick, professional, compassionate care. Only clinic that allowed me to come in person for an ongoing issue that couldn't be resolved with other virtual clinic visits. Most issues can't be resolved over a phone call so I'm very grateful they gave me the opportunity to come in.

They are so unprofessional at the place its unbelievable. I waited for 2 hours while other people were being seen before me. I had a conversation with a patient that walked up after me he got seen within 5 minutes. I totally under covid protocol but I don't not understand being racial treatment.

Appointment booked for 3: 30 for covid testing. And my sister got in at 4 pm after calling them and yelling at them. And they told us to get there by 3: 15. Use another clinic instead.

I booked a Covid test here, and I have to say it was a good experience. I didn't wait long, the nurse told me everything I needed to know and I barely felt the thing they stick in your nose. She was very nice and accommodating. I feel people who have negative experiences are more motivated to write reviews for this location.

I dont recommend this place is full of shady doctors they dont take any responsibility wen you need anything even though they have all the record they think they are sitting backhome so they can treat patients the way they want according to their knowledge they scare writing medication or telling you what to do next or what treatment to follow I dont know why they working or why they are paid if they dont want to do their job they just want to send you to someone else so that they no need to do anything shame on them calling themselves doctor they deny when patient need something receptionist rude she talk like she does not want anybody to go to the clinic bcoz this way they have less work to do if no patient in the clinic they are happy bcoz of corona they dont let patients to enter into the clinic so whole day they sit free and chat good idea just be doctor get salary and don't do anything

This clinic is worst and should be closed immediately. Worst management I have seen in my whole life. They don't know how to deal with human beings. Even pet clinics are more courteous than them. A rude lady named Dena is very unprofessional. She lacks humanity and manners to speak. They do not even have proper staff.

Though doctors are nice that's why I have given 1 star. Never recommend anyone to this clinic.

Had a really positive experience there this morning. Waited about 20minutes in the waiting room, and saw the doctor within 10minutes of being assigned a room. Dr Sial was compassionate and knowledgeable; he explained every part of the exam, as well as his plan for the drugs he prescribed. He told me about symptoms to watch out for so that I could be proactive. He requested I return in a timely manner so that he can check in on my progress. Any extra questions were answered thoroughly and thoughtfully.

Almost 15 patients are waiting, doctor didnt call any patient for almost 30+ mnutes, only one doctor and she is documenting something, busy with paper work for previous patients

Dr. Than is helpful, thorough and really seems to care about her patients. The staff are busy, but they still manage to call me with results asap! The wait can be longer depending on when you come in, but it's worth it to see Dr. Tham.

Went in with an issue, got seen quickly, got tests etc done. Had a good encounter with the doctor. Was in and out fast and happy. No issues.

Very fast service. The thing I like about these urgent care clinics is that you can check the wait times online, it’s the same thing with the Woodbridge location.

Negative:

Was kinda rushed through the whole thing. The doctor didn’t even sign or date the prescription slip she gave me. I’m not super surprised because it’s a walk-in clinic, but at least sign the slip.

I live in woodbridge n even though there r so many walk in clinics close to me, I usually come to this clinic for the past few years. The wait times are pretty long, but when i see the doctor, i am pretty satisfied.

But today after waiting for a full hour to be seen by the doctor, she comes in and in a matter of barely 2 mins writes me a prescription for my eye without any examination or check up.i even insisted that i feel sick feverish n my blood preasure feels low but she suggested to go check bp at the pharmacy counter when i go for my medicine n didnt check any vital signs said u might be coming down with a viral.the doctor behaved more like a councillor that she should be paid just for talking to the patient no check up nothing.very disappointed.while im in the cliniic n waited so long she could have checked temperature and bp rather than suggesting go checlk it urself.will surely consider if i want to go back there.

The wait times are stupid. I’ve seen 3 different doctors here they won’t bother checking you. If you tel them you have colds they will give you prescription right away they wont bother checking your temperature or asking you is there anything else they can do. I always come here cause I HAVE NO CHOICE. I always wait for an hour or more to have someone see me then wait another 15-20 mins for my prescription and ITS NOT BUSY! At all! They lady doctor was also rude like wth im telling you i am sick she said oh you dont look sick i dont think you’ll need antibiotics so i wont bother. Ive been coming back for 10 weeks give me the antibiotics.the YOUNG FILIPINA LADY SHES AMAZING the only reasonable person who works here.

This place doesn't know what they are doing. I came in last week with a pretty heafty cut on my thumb. With first look at it. It obviously needed stitches. Doctor say its find "glues " it and says come back in 3 days. Everybody it kept opening. I went back and they said oh its fine and just wrapped it. I decided to go to the hospital to get it looked at and the doctor freaked that they used glue and it wanted stitches they first time. I ended up getting stitches and now I gotta be careful of infection. I will no longer walk into that place again. Rather wait three hours at the emerg then deal with these "doctors" soooo unprofessional.

Such a great experience! I went in on a Thursday afternoon, and was greeted by friendly admin staff and quickly seen (within 5 mins) by Dr. Shakur. Both the doctor and the nurse were professional, caring and made me feel comfortable. All my questions and concerns were answered, and the doctor took time to seek my satisfaction before leaving. Great service and such an unexpected positive experience. So grateful for the care recieved and the quick turnaround time since I had to return to the office again and was able to be in and out within 15 minutes.
