Etobicoke Women's Imaging - True North Imaging

I have always had a very positive kind and helpful experience with the care from the staff, technicians and doctors. My only issue has been the lack of accessible parking spaces. There was only one spot near the front door that was always taken. I had two appointments in one week. There needs to me more accessible parking spots near the front door. I had to park a row back behind a concrete and grass barrier, that I had to walk over top of in the snow and ice with my two canes, otherwise I would have had to walk all the way around.

The staff was pleasant and friendly. Professional establishment and received prompt and timely service.

I don't know why people are saying that they have bad attitude while it was pleasant experience for me.
I was also nervous after viewing negative reviews because first time I booked an appointment here. Surprisingly, the girl who did my ultrasound she was very nice and very kind with me. She spent nearly 45 minutes on my ultrasound and I did not face any rudeness on her face.

I highly recommend this place.

The ladies were very kind and kept asking if I was ok. They were on time and very friendly. I would recommend them again.

One woman who did ultrasound for me and explained everything that I didn’t know. (Same location) Previous worker ultrasound never explained it at all, which is I am very disappointed. Very professional and I am happy to know about it

Do not come to this location. They’re ultrasounds are not clear, and many specialists have asked me not to return here. You wait months to get anything done because they are short staffed and their front desk staff is extremely rude and unpleasant. They call you if you are 1 min late yet never answer the phone when you call. They don’t tell you if there are pre procedure requirements and when you get there and get told you needed to do x y and z before hand, they just send you away, too bad and come back in 4 months because that’s all we have. Ownership at this location is the issue if they cannot keep staff and keep them happy. I drive an extra 10km - 15 km out of my way to get to the Thornhill location where you are treated well by all staff including front desk and don’t need to wait months and the images are correct and any pre procedure protocols are communicated to the patient ahead of time. Learn how to do your jobs better instead of inconveniencing sick people.

I felt that this experience was extremely painful and excessive, I’ve been experiencing severe cramping and bleeding for 10 days now. I researched and the cramping should not have lasted more that 48 hours, I will follow up with my gyno. I’m on Lupron depot and wasn’t expecting to have any vaginal bleeding much less heavy and prolonged bleeding. My normal menstrual cycle should not have started for at least another week if at all and my period only lasts for 6 days. I don’t know the steps of the procedure but I noticed two substances were injected at the beginning and another syringe of liquid was inserted near the end of the procedure while the probe was still in. I don’t know what was necessary or normal, but I’ve had similar ultrasounds and am now aware that it didn’t need to be so painful and I shouldn’t have had to endure that level of discomfort. I was only told in the beginning that I could feel a pinch and that I would feel pressure with the probe and warned of possible infection following the procedure.

It was a very pleasant experience. Facility is very clean. The technician was professional and friendly.

The Receptionist
were helpful somehow, but, in general workers attitude were no so friendly, I was nervous and I traveled long distance to do my test in Etobicoke clinic, asking for directions or charging my phone to know where I was and which transportation I could take to get back to my work place an non of the workers wanted to answer my questions. I got treated a bit rude when I entered into the room for my test, I hope they remember, patients/ clients are humans.

Receptionist is very very rude. Never smiled. She makes one feel nervous however technicians are doing wonderful job.

Thank you for a great experience. It was comforting to have such kind and patient nurses. It makes all the difference!

Absolutely loved my technician, she was so funny and pleasant. She made me feel so comfortable with my visit, and all throughout. I would 100% recommend based off of my visit with my technician alone. I wish I had gotten her name. I will update once I do. Hopefully I get her again

Front desk staff and technician are emotion less, not cooperative, keep talking internally,
try to be oversmart and pretend they are busy and do not have time for you. Always feel uncomfortable to have Ultra Sound with them. We (my wife) only go to this place because it is in same building. Otherwise, worst people and worst service.i am sorry but that's what I feel!

Very pleasant - the technician was positive and polite - had a sense of ease for the patient. Front desk reception could have been a bit more friendly considering the nature and sensitivity this lab performs.

I had an appointment (ultrasound) on 35 weeks of pregnancy. Thank you a lot for service! Appointment was as I expected- in time, quickly, professional doctor.nice place! I strongly recommend!

Very impressed with how effecient and professional everyone was at True North Imaging. My appoint went smoothly and perfectly on time. The teccnician was friendly and pleasant.
