Cindy was absolutely fantastic with helping me with the process of ordering an engagement ring! My fiancée and I first met her at the Sherway Gardens location.

When picking the center diamond, she gave me great information on the cut, clarity and colour of the diamond and helped me picking the best one. She regularly kept me updated through the whole process. I had bought the ring a little late (in March for an early June proposal). Without Cindy, the ring would definitely have not arrived on time.

Because of all this, we made sure to go back to Cindy for ordering the wedding ring and she provided the same great service as before. She even offered to clean the engagement ring while we were looking around.

We can’t thank Cindy enough for her help and I definitely would not have been able to propose on time if she wasn’t staying on top of the ring manufacturer. Her service was fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone looking to get any type of jewelry for themselves or their loved ones. She’s now moved to the Square One location so we’ll definitely follow her there for our future jewelry orders.

Wonderful store and staff. Alot of thier timepieces are out of my budget but I was welcomed to try some one and look at a bunch of options. I ended up purchasing a Hamilton khaki field off the website and it was in my hands the next day. The package included a nice written note and some extras. They clearly take pride in their products and customer service. Will use them again!

Worst experience ever. Such a NOT HONEST PEOPLES. My son, 14 yesrs old bought a gift for me for the Christmas. They told him that he can return in with full refund in 1 week, actually the manager & lady working in the store told him that.
We went to return and the deny it, proud of my son, he stands for both guys and told them, you told me i can return it in a week and now you are saying no you can't, for sure you made a deal & got advantage to lie on a 14 years old to make an easy sale! In a matter they couldn't answer him.
If anyone has the contact for a higher level management for the company please share it here for help.

Never lie to such a kid to make your commission!

The salesman was very rude here. You'd think if someone was ready to drop a few thousand on a watch, they would work for it. But again they probably judge because I look young. If you want the high-end experience that comes with spending lots of money, it won't be here.

This location is extremely inconsiderate of people’s time during the social distancing changes. No one had the courtesy to come outside and let the people in line know about the possible wait time or even acknowledge their presence. Looking inside, the workers are passive and just sitting around not doing anything. I was in line for one hour, and there was only two people ahead of me the entire time with no changes. I understand their customer limit restriction but the customers that were inside were just sitting around waiting to be cashed out - which took 25 minutes. I understand circumstance sometimes cause long wait times, but atleast have the courtesy to communicate with your customers. Extremely disappointed.

Purchased an engagement ring here a few years ago-the diamond was great-but VERY poor workmanship with setting. The white gold was yellowish between the prongs-making the colourless diamond look yellowish. I took it in to be cleaned/fixed immediately after receiving from my now husband and it looked the same. I finally took it to an independent jeweller to be repaired and was told the gold wasnt polished properly between the prongs-hence the yellowish tinge. He polished and rhodium plated it and it looks much better now. Also when the ring was resized by 1/2 size (immediately after purchase-as soon as i got it) -the band was stretched rather than gold added-so the band is lopsided and very thin in that spot. After spending well over $10 000 on a ring i expect much better service and quality. I am now contemplating resetting my ring (elsewhere of course!). Never again buying anything from European Jewellery-they just lack the expertise.

Unfriendly staff. The older lady, don't know her name was unpleasant and unhelpful, don't know why these kinds of people even have jobs that require any kind of customer interaction, it hurts your business and reputation. You guys are selling expensive watches and jewellery, not popcorn and soda pops, your staff should be well trained, courteous, knowledgeable and welcoming.

I came here today to purchase a ring for my sister in law and the old lady in the counter was extremely rude and didn’t bother to assist me.she asked for my budget and explained that I don’t have a budget and will buy whatever I like.she just started giving me attitude and I left the store. I will definitely tell all my networks to not buy from here. Extremely disappointed. Whoever manages this place please work on hiring people with excellent customer service!

I've been at this location to either purchase cleaning items for my silver jewelry necklace and bracelet.

This time I had to get 2 missing screws replaced on a men's Movado watch around the first wk of May 2019.

All I just wanted was for this store to send out my Movado watch to have 2 screws removed, replaced, and to find 2 new replacement screws.

In all, I waited a total of over 8 weeks, back and forth phone calls, outrageous charges via Movado service reps that wanted to charge European Jewellery (hence me) over $100 CDN buck$ just to service my Movado watch (over 2 damn screws) which hold the clamp/clasps from the face of the watch.

I will attached 2 images to show what I mean.

In the end, I received my watch at no charge, and no screws after 8+ weeks of haggling over the dismal service.

I just noticed today the 2 other screws looks different as well, when compared to my previous picture I took before I attempted to have it serviced. WTH? !

They told me they would contact me when they had found these 2 screws, as of June 12,2019.

No contact. No callback. Absolutely nothing.

Unbelievable.

I decided to post this unfortunate review to make sure others don't ever experience my situation.

I don't think it was European Jewelry that was at fault here, but I'm really disappointed at Movado and the whole experience. Not impressed one bit.

I will undoubtedly rethink, when the day comes to purchase another high end men's watch.

It won't be Movado this time.

2 stones fell out of my Verragio engagement ring so I brought it back to this location where it was bought for them to send off to Verragio to have the repair done. They didn't send it to Verragio and instead did the repair in-house with some lower quality diamonds which really showed. They also polished away some of the fine detail on my ring and on top of that when I showed up none of the staff could find my ring for a while. I was offered a $75 gift card for the damage that they did on a 15k ring. These guys give a bad name to Verragio.go to La Boutique Del Gioiello and speak to Tina for your Verragio needs and for quality customer service. Pathetic service and unknowledgeable staff at this location.

Went to replace the battery for my watch then end up a big deep scratch on the side of the watch metal part. Went back right away to ask the guy who change the battery for me, he said will send it to office to fix it. No sorry, keep saying it's from the tool, he can't see the back, it can only open one side. Come on, I don't need those excuses, it shouldn't be a scratch. If he tell me nicely sometimes it happens and sorry about that, I will understand. And also he tells the girl beside him to check next time when they receive it. You think I have the scratch arleady and blame on you? Worst customer service! Will never go to this store to buy anything!

I have been looking to purchase a Tag Heuer for a while, and decided to check out one ive been interested in that I saw online, was helped by a lady who eyed me up and down, and without really asking me about what I was looking for was quick to mention they had financing available in case I didn't want to pay all up front. I guess she just assumed that I couldn't afford a Tag. I understand there are a lot of "tire kickers" out there, but a good sales person would at least figure out my requirements and needs prior to being rather assumptive. She also handed me a quartz movement which i quickly said I was looking for an automatic 1887 or Heuer 01 movement, and her response "those are much more", again assumptions on trying to qualify my affordability based on appearance VS evaluating my needs. Needless to say I didn't feel like I was important enough or even worthy to be in there. Even if I was spending $500 VS $5000, why not try to convert the opportunity of me walking in as a sale vs assuming I need financing. It was like this sales person went to cheap car salesman school.

This place is so disgusting. I bought a ring one year ago and I also bought the insurance. Few days ago, I found my ring lose one small diamond, I come to them and request for repair, they deny I bought any insurance and said their system was updated, so that can’t find any of my purchase information. Then the sales which is an old woman’s attitude is so rude, they almost yell at me said nothing they can do. They bring my ring to do assessment and force me to pay $186.50 to repair the ring. I was totally shocked, I have no idea how such an unscrupulous store can survive in the market, they make profits based on how to find a way to overcharge, Good luck, I’ll tell all of people I know never go to this radicious place

I called to ask question about a repair and was greeted promptly by Gerard who was friendly and very helpful. Didn’t feel rushed at all and keep in mind this is the Christmas season. Triple A customer service. Plus I live out of town. Wow thanks you Gerard guess who I will make the trip to see or recommend for fine jewelry. Thank you.
