I love Evok! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I've been going to them for years now. They have a great selection of eyewear, contact lenses and are happy to size and adjust frames as needed or throughout the year.

Highly recommend Evok. Not to mention I get compliments on my 3 sets of frames I've bought from them.

Lastly, they also accept NIHB for those in the know.

Contact ripped in my eye while at work, and i was still waiting for my new pair to come in, so I had no replacement. They helped me out with a trial pack, and now my eye feels so much better! Definitely recommend this place!

Wow. Was looking for a new eye doctor closer to home. So glad I found them. Very reasonably priced, up to date technology and equipment, great eyewear selection, such friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 would suggest.

I stopped in earlier this afternoon to get my wobbly frame fixed. A few weeks ago, the side of my eyeglass frame had come undone and the screw had to be replaced. The place I had visited prior to Evok did not put in the proper replacement screw, causing the right lens of my eyeglasses to become loose inside the frame. I remembered seeing Evok and decided to stop in and see if they could fix my eyeglasses. I was greeted with a warm welcome upon entering the store, and the gentleman that helped me saw right away what the issue was when I showed him my eyeglasses. He fixed my eyeglasses within minutes and now I don't have to worry about the lens falling out while wiping them. I will definitely be revisiting the store for my next pair of eyeglasses.

I went into evok eyewear hoping they would be willing to repair a couple pairs of sunglasses. Andy went above and beyond to help me. While he was fixing my glasses, I had a moment to enjoy the stunning selection of eyewear they have on display.

I dropped in to the store for a minor repair of my cherished Mykita sunglasses. The service was prompt and professional and the staff was very friendly. I visited Evok on May 30,2022 and spoke with Andy about possibly replacing the lenses in my eyeglasses because of a new prescription from my optician. After comparing this new prescription with my previous one from 3 years ago, he gave me his professional, honest opinion that there was only a marginal difference between the two. Therefore, it was probably not worth it to replace my lenses at this time.
So, I left without purchasing anything, but I felt it was worth sending in a review to comment on the excellent, friendly service which I received from Andy. I was impressed with his integrity. When I eventually need new lenses, I will definitely go back to Evok.

In a business climate where most customer service seems to have taken a backseat, at Evok it's exactly this that they excel at. The space is lovely, conveniently just steps off from the King St.streetcar stop. They stock a great selection of unique eyewear designs and brands. But above all, their attention to detail, friendliness, and patience makes the complete experience here a joy to shop in!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! I come by every couple months for contacts and they always remember me and are very welcoming. I needed new glasses and walked in yesterday spontaneously hoping to get an idea of the prices, they were super helpful in showing me the different price ranges and styles that I wanted. I fell asleep with my glasses on my bed and it got messed up a bit. I came in and got them adjusted free of charge. The people that work here are really nice and friendly. Even when I offered to give money they refused to accept it.

My mom and sister initially happened to come across this place and they were both so pleased with their experience. The associates spent time helping them find the perfect frames and recommended the options that they thought would best suit their needs.

My boyfriend and I then visited this place for our glasses after hearing their great reviews and we were also so happy! We found the perfect frames at a great price and got a thorough and comprehensive eye exam by their optometrist as well. What I love about the associates there, is that they recommend what’s best and not necessarily what’s most expensive. It’s refreshing to experience that and to deal with people who genuinely care about providing the best customer experience. 5 stars from all of us! This place is just incredible - they have the best collection in store and Terence was just super helpful and patient in helping me select the frames that compliment my face and personality. This is the second optical store I’ve been to in Canada and by far, I can swear these guys are professionals and really top notch when it comes to delivery, quality of product and exceptional customer service.

THE place to for all your glasses needs. Went in a couple of times to get my new glasses adjusted (after purchasing from Evok) and they were always super welcoming, helpful and meticulous with them.

I am nothing but satisfied with this place. I got my eyes checked and it was a good experience. No eye blowy stuff. I called in to see about prices for lenses because usually I take my stuff somewhere else, which I regret and wish I brought them to do my lenses. They finish them within 3-4 business days. I waited a 7 business days at my old place and they completely forgot about them until I came in. Sigh, learning experience. I’ll be coming back.
