Evviva Breakfast and Lunch

Great service every time! Yes it is usually a long wait for a table but that is ok because it is good to see the restaurant thriving! But once you are seated they are extremely efficient and the food is very good! The one thing I would like to see at this restaurant is maybe an enclosed outdoor heated patio this way they can fit more people in the winter!

Stopped by for brunch after visiting the CN tower. The food, service and atmosphere was great.

We saw Evviva as we walked down Yonge Street. Amazing find! Nataliya made it even more special with her smiling and efficient service. I will be back many many times.

Nice place for breakfast or lunch. There are several options and the dishes are abundant.

I called and the rude person on the phone answered asked how she could help and when I asked a question, I heard “ugh” and hung up.

Excellent approachable servers. Delicious food (oh my goodness, the Lox was just. *chefs kiss*) love the options for vegan and carnivores. Can't recommend it enough.

Pancakes were tough and lukewarm. Waffle was almost cold. Loud Village People and other bad late ‘70s / early ‘80s music playing for breakfast music. Coffee was decent.

Our waiter was personal and pleasant and took good care of us. We had the eggs bennie with peameal and the chicken club, and both were delicious. Thankful we dined here today.

Simply the place for a brunch. Good selection of eggs and pastry. Fair prices and portions. Nice indoor ambiance and outdoor seating available. Walking distance from downtown if you don't mind a 10 min walk. Food was tasty and service was prompt. Good experience overall

Best vegan brunch I’ve ever had, a very good experience from the delicious food (how do they make those delicious vegan eggs with the runny yolks?) to the excellent service from the staff. Highly recommend using the waitlist feature on Yelp to secure a table on the weekends.

Always a good stop when visiting Toronto! The food is affordable, looks and tastes very good! Our waiter Ryan was the nicest guy, he’s really funny too and knows how to brighten everyone’s mood!

Excellent food and service. Try their steak and eggs. It was recommended. The steak was broiled to my taste and was delicious.

The food was decent, the restaurant looks great, and the waitress serving us was very attentive and friendly. The hostess was very crusty for no apparent reason, and their reservation system is flawed. I suspect it's setup to purposely have people waiting so it looks busy and draws more people in.

Make sure to have a reservation on the weekend - we saw a lot of people turned away due to a full wait-list.

The food was great, especially the vegan kale Caesar. The French toast was also fantastic. The vegan Benedict was interesting and good, though the hollandaise didn't really mimic hollandaise.

Service was very polite and prompt.

Terrible hostess and bad costumer service experience. I went there yesterday (Sunday, Nov14th) at 11: 55am. Put my name into the waiting list and waited for almost 50 minute right at their outside door. I didn't hear my phone beeping and probably was late for 5 minutes or a little more and the hostess said she would put us back into the end of the line. I begged her if there was anything she could do and she said that she couldn't pass me in front of others because everyone was waiting as well. This is not passing in front of others, I accidentally missed my turn and I think she could do more after I waited 50 minutes outside at their door instead of just saying she was going to put me back into the line to wait another 50 minutes. Terrible hostes, didn't care at all.

Nice place! The portions were huge and everything tasted very good! Worth to try if you are in the area

Tried their Florentine Benedict, Chicken Pesto Sandwich and Nutella waffles. Everything was fairly decent, in terms of taste and quantity. The ambiance certainly adds to the experience with reasonable attention to detail. The food could however, be better or more experimental. Nonetheless, a pretty good overall experience.

Came here for breakfast because of the good reviews. Sat for 5 minutes without being seen. Waiter took our order then came back 15 minutes later to say he lost the order and had to retake it. Utter rubbish and incompetent. Even getting drinks out which should’ve been faster took ages.

The menu here is amazing! Such a big selection for all types of dietary needs. The food came out quick and was delicious. I had the burger with Greek salad and my friends had breakfast items, all delicious. The vibe at the restaurant was super cute, very pretty and elegant. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Great brunch place, very convenient, decently priced. One of the best home fries I've had! Staff are always friendly and quick to attend to customers. Takeout service on weekends can be improved, phone is going to voicemail and you're unable to order through food delivery apps.

Disappointing service with an empty restaurant. It took over 20 minutes for a server to come by. We only got our orders in because we yelled that we were ready. Food took an additional 20 minutes and 2 coffees ordered before the food came 10 minutes after the food. Nobody came and check on us so I had to hunt some ketchup. Food was ok, nothing special, but not worth the price. I was going to skip the tip but I ended giving a 10%. Needless to say I’m not coming back or recommending it to anyone.

Got our food before our drinks/coffee which doesn’t happen often. Server forgot about giving us milk for coffee had to bother another server for some after waiting felt bad for asking. Food was delicious though.

New to the area. Planning my anniversary weekend. I called to see if they take reservations on weekends, seeing how all weekend dates are unavailable to book online. I called and a woman answered. Asked how she was doing, then asked if they are taking reservations specifically on November 7th. She quickly said "We don't take reservations on weekends" and before I could even ask more questions, she hung up on me. Good first impression.

Good food, good services, nice location and awesome decor! Love this place which make me feel like a boss.

This is the first time I experience bad service in Toronto!
First of all the food was amazing, we had the traditional, Florentine eggs benedict and some pancakes. The food was 10/10
Now for the customer service, first of all, if you wanted to order or ask anything the waitresses would just act as if they did not see you. I asked the cheque from the blonde waitress and she just looked at me and turned the other way.
Now for their supervisor (which is no surprise that she is their supervisor given her horrible attitude) I asked her for new plates and cutlery which must have been offensive as she did not even let me continue my sentence and went to have a chat with her colleague. Also, none of the waitresses are serving you can see all of them giggling and chatting in the back. They see that you are calling them but completely disregard you.
We had one good server but she looked young and she could not service all the tables.
I am so frustrated as this is the first time i experience such a horrible service during my stay in Toronto. This was my last day and I searched up good brunch spots, and I am so disappointed.
CHANGE THE STAFF YOUR FOOD IS AMAZING BUT YOU HAVE A HORRIBLE STAFF!

I was very disappointed with the place. I have walked by a couple times and the food looked delicious, but unfortunately my experience was terrible. The service was terrible, once we got seated it took our server 10 minutes to come to us, but we had to ask the hostess to get him. It took an absurd amount of time for him to bring water to the table and to take our food order. I asked if I could have my egg yoke broke but they were only able to make scrambled or over easy eggs. The server than came back and said the cooks do not like making modifications for customers, which is unbelievable. I was at Warehouse on Queen Street West and the cook hand made a felafel burger from scratch as the pre made ones were breaking to much. This is the service that ALL restaurants should have, no questions asked. I am very disappointed in the service and changes need to be made!

Very good quality food. First time visit. We had Abe as our waitress and she was very efficient, friendly and always making sure we were taken care of. Highly recommended - we will come back again!

The best vegan brunch I've ever had. Top notch service, and despite busy crowds, the food and drinks came out quickly, and with a smile. Cheers guys. I will be returning, and telling my friends about this one.

Five stars for the food but one for our server. He didn't give us BAD service but only acknowledged my husband; it was like I wasn't there. "Anything else, sir? " and "How is everything, sir? ", etc. Neither one of us were too impressed with that.

Amazing place to grab to go or sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is great! What isn't there to like, from breakfast to lunch -burgers to theirs eggs and salads. This place is awesome. Definitely a staple to add to the list of restaurants to attend. If you are thinking Cora's think again. Ten fold Evviva! Highly recommend!

One word review: FANTASTIC
This is a must visit if you’re looking for a fresh start to your day in DT Toronto. Our view of CN Tower was amazing. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

I went to this place on Saturday and there was a long wait. The lady in the front told me initially it would take me about an hour for a table, so I gave my name and started waiting. I came back in an hour and the same lady tells me I have to wait another 30 mins. At this point I was very frustrated. I already waited an hour and now wait another 30 mins. I saw many empty tables inside and outside so I pointed that out to her but she said they are not being used because they don't want to overwhelm the cooking staff. What!? Anyways I didn't want to get into a big argument and I said fine and came back in 30 mins. When I came back in 30 mins, to my surprise, the lady tells me another 15-20 mins wait. I was like what the heck is going on here. This place is horrendous when it comes to wait times and they don't take reservations on the weekends. After arguing with them for a bit, the lady finally gave me a table outside. I am not sure why she couldn't have done this before!? I was not very happy about the whole experience. The food was okay but definately not worth waiting almost 2 hours for. Also I've noticed that they jacked up the prices on everything. They added arugula to the breakfast item and jacked up the price by $6 ‍️. Anyways this place might be okay with a reservation and to go once in a while, but I would not recommend it over the weekend. There are lots of other nice brunch places in Toronto. Stay away from here. ️

I had a lovely brunch here on a Wednesday morning with a friend. There was a bit of a wait about 20-30 minutes but we were seated afterwards. The food was really nice. The eggs cooked over easy, exactly to my liking. Though the salad was simply some arugula leaves. No dressing or vinaigrette. Everything else was quite tasty and nice.

Excellent hot food. Service was fast and our coffee was excellent. Decor was very nice although the music (Destiny's Child) was annoying. All I kept hearing was the word "Baby" over and over and over. It cost us a couple of dollars more but well worth it considering other places were much more expensive. We will recommend this breakfast spot.

Their food was so good. We got Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and French Toasts. The potatoes that came with the eggs benedict were so good. The bread for the French toast was so fluffy and soft. Need to come back to try something else!

Very poor experience. Ignored by server (no willingness to check-in and offer more water / coffee), food order took very long, and when it did eventually come, everything was cold. No care to make it right. I do not recommend this place.

This place is a great spot to have brunch, the interior is so pretty and has an aesthetic. It also comes with a view of the CN tower and Roger's center. Would recommend reservations ahead of time for weekends. The mimosas and our brunch tasted great! Would recommend as long as you reserve a spot!

Really nice place for kids. The waitress staff was short staffed but they did a great job helping everyone out. I would recommend the French toast and also the breakfast potatoes. The pancakes were a hit with my little one.

The hostess told us it will be one hour wait, so we went to grab a coffee and kill time! Surprisingly, they texted us in less than 15 minutes asking us to come to the restaurant within 5 minutes! Good thing we were not far away. As far as food, I ordered steak and eggs, the portion was big and fairly good.

Fantastic restaurant in Toronto. I live in the UK and this was my first visit to Canada on a business trip. Not knowing Toronto, it was difficult to know where to eat. But it was great to discover this stylish friendly place for a delicious brunch before returning to the airport.

I was really impressed with the extensive menu, vegan options available, and my maple waffle. Adding myself to the waitlist was a pretty seamless process, along with check in once I arrived. The only thing that really marred my time here was the service from my server; she was neither personable nor friendly, and seemed really irritated.

This was the first time I got to try coffee in awhile.and now I have a constant coffee craving. The maple latte was something else. I definitely wish I could make it at home. Now getting their Atlantic Eggs Benedict.with the Chalula hot sauce was just an amazing addition to that. Please pass on my thanks to the chef's and baristas in the back. I have a new fave breakfast spot and definitely can't wait to go back.

Side note: That balloon doggo at the front is just super adorable. I made the edit to fully type out what my sleepy self meant.

The plant based menu options by Chef Doug McNish are borderline magic! The vegan sunny-side-up eggs, the eggs Benedict, the bacun, the list goes on! They even have a vegan drink menu, featuring kombucha mimosas, vegan Caesars AND the service is fantastic! I defo recommend making a reso for this spot as it books up fast. This review explains why!

Really delicious brunch! Ordered a mimosa and the French toast. Serving size was decent. Slightly over priced. Went on the weekend and it was very busy but only needed to wait 30 minutes for a patio table. Service was quick. I’m busy days they tell you your limit to sit is 1 hr. Aka you can’t hang around chatting once your food is finished which makes sense at a busy location.

Great place for brunch though pricy. This place is always crowded on weekends so make sure to book your reservations in advance.

Honestly for a 45min wait, it was nothing special. I got the eggs Benedict and the English muffin and ham were hardly toasted or cooked.

Food is good but service is painfully slow. It took well over an hour to receive our food after being seated.

Over an hour wait for a table on a Saturday at 12. Put myself on the wait list via Yelp at 11: 19 was told to check in by 12: 09, checked in a few min before 12 told that we have a 30min wait by hostess which was exactly on point. Thought this place would be worth the wait.

4 of us ordered:
1 & 2.eggs florentine & salmon eggs benedict- the main portion of those dishes (everything on the english muffin) were really good, but it came with overcooked/burned potatoes that were too crunchy, and dry arugula with almost no dressing on it.
3. Smart heart breakfast- arrived almost cold, wondering how long it was sitting to be served. Dry salad, basically just leaves. Did have a lot of salmon.
4. Chicken and waffles- not enough batter in the waffles, it had holes in it. Also came with 3 small pieces of boneless chicken tenders, that were also overcooked/burned as the breadcrumbs were dark. We came to the conclusion that the fryer must have had old oil that they didn't change all morning which is why everything fried came like that.

Stars for the hostess & waitress who did a fantastic job. Poor hostess gets yelled at for the long wait times as if it's her fault, and she remains super friendly with every customer. Waitress was also great, checked in with us frequently and brought everything we needed. Carried a ton of stuff with ease I was very impressed. Also indoor decor is super cute.
