The worst nail salon I’ve ever been at.
Women that work there are super rude and unprofessional. They never do their job well. Please never go there.

The staff is so kind, always trying to offer the best service, I always show them the picture of the shape I want and I always hit what I came for

Hate writing bad reviews but nancy is absolutely terrible.she has done my nails multiple times when grace was busy and always gives me bad energy.she has messed up my nails and when i ask her to fix something she gets angry or completely dismisses me.once she finished my nails that i ended up fixing on my own because she was busy with other customers and kept leaving me hanging which made my trip to the salon 3 hours for a refill, she put a top coat that smudged all my nails ON PURPOSE.it is probanly not anything personal to me because i was always very nice, she is not fit for this patient job.

I am a regular client at Ex Cali Nails, used to get my nails and toes done biweekly for almost two years prior to Covid-19. I must say, I like how quick they do their services efficiently and professionally. It is very affordable compared to other places in the area. I've never had to wait for my appointments EVER, it's always on time. It takes less than one hour to do a full set of dip powder manicure. If you are looking for an excellent customer service, probably not the best place to get your nails done due to a language barrier. It's better for you to book an appointment in downtown where you pay close to 100 dollars for a simple dip powder manicure with an excellent customer service. All the staffs are Vietnamese, barely speak English but friendly and "somewhat" welcoming but still highly recommended!

I went there 2 times, the prices are a bit better than in other salons, but unfortunately, the quality is very poor. My first time was better, but the shellac manicure started peeling off in a week and 2nd time I did Shellac manicure just last week and it started peeling off 3 days later. Also there were some bubbles on my nail polish, but the girl didn't seem to care. The pedicure is ok, though it wasn't done thorough - I still came home and "finished" it. Cannot recommend, unfortunately

Honestly, the only place I come to for my manicure and pedicure. Most importantly, they are the cleanest place in the neighborhood, friendly, punctual and give a great service. They are busy so I would recommend making an appointment. I’ve been to many nail places before - this is the only one I keep coming back to.

Love this place. My 2 daughters and I come from Keele a d Eglinton. Staff is very friendly. Never a problem with the quality and best price I've seen in the metro a d surrounding area. Highly recommend ed.

I always recommend this place to people because they do SUCH a good job, especially with the dip powder. Not to mention all the employees (especially Grace) are so sweet!

I'm not the one to write bad reviews. I went to this place once before and they were fine but today's visit was absolutely terrible. This salon does not sanitize their tools or equipment, there is nail file dust everywhere. They are rough and careless. I brought my little sister here today and she didn't end up liking the colour she chose. (The plastic nail showed a pink sparkly colour, it ended up looking like a sparkly top coat). I calmly asked her technician if it is possible to put a layer of pink polish on top to give it more colour, she immediately started yelling at me and telling me that the job was done, she can't do it and this is the colour that she chose. As a nail tech, it is your responsibility to ask your client whether the colour is alright, especially if you are dealing with a child who doesn't do their nails quite often. Aside from the colour, the paint job was horrible - there was polish everywhere on her skin, my sister took acetone herself and wiped it off from around her nail. After the lady applied a light pink coat on top, her nails turned out worse. It was the most careless nail job I had ever seen. I asked my own technician whether she would be able to help, this made the other nail tech furious and she began yelling at me once more. Then the two other nail tech's at the salon told me they could fix it, but it would damage her nail and they would charge me extra. These ladies have no sense of compassion or empathy. There's another nail salon in the plaza next door, with similar prices and cleaner equipment. Don't come to this place. Save yourself the headache.

Love this place! Definitely the best prices for Nugenesis and they always do an amazing job! I love the staff here they are always so friendly!

Grace is an awesome lady, please people check her out - he'll yeah she and her team knows what they are doing

I’ve been coming here for a little over 4 years and i never left unsatisfied.i usually ask for grace, who pays very close attention to the shape of my nails.her and i always seem to have great conversations while she works on my nails and her eye for detail never disappoints.if i could rate ex cali nails higher i would.

The best and only place I go to for nails! I love it here. Have been coming for years and can’t say enough good about my experience. This is the only place I come where my powder dip nails last nearly three weeks!

Excellent experience overall, my wife and I Manicures and pedicures every so often and the service is great. My wife really likes the colour selection too!

My grandmother was a regular customer at this nail salon. She will never be going back due to their pathetic customer service. How do they refuse to call a taxi for a 92 year old woman with a walker because they say that they are too busy. Thank goodness there was a customer at the salon willing to call for her or she would have been stranded. I am appalled at their lack of sensitivity and respect for elderly people.

We've been going for a few years now. I went once many years ago. Grace is so nice and fun and a very good technician. We originally tried Nancy but switched to Grace. The other ladies are ok although a few have come and go. Its a very small salon. I go for dip powder. Have my own nails. Haven't worn tips in years. Many do shellac but many use the dip powder

Stay away from poor customer service! This was my to go place but no more, I went there to get dip powder nail and the lady who barely speaks english put on the Coates, the color didn't show at all on my nails and I requested a change, instead she started doing another client! She kept arguing that the color is the same, and spoke in Vietnamese with her coworker, they came and kept on speaking in their language and I kept asking if I could be a part of that conversation, she was furious.but the truth is the nail polish samples are done on white sample nails and human nail is pinker, that was why it looked as if I didn't have any polish on! But the fact that she ignored me and started a new customer is unbearable! And yelling at a customer, really?

My girlfriend got her nails done by Grace. She couldn't be happier with the design of the nails. Would do it again

The nails are so beautiful. I love the work Grace has done. These nails are on its 3rd week since I've got them done and I haven't gone back because its lasted so long! I'm amazed by the quality and color. When the time comes, I definitely will do it again:)

Best place for dip powder (aka Nugenesis). My nails always turn out great! I've used most of the nail techs there, and have never been disatisfied. Everyone does a great job. PS the dip powder lasts FOREVER.

They are the rudest people I've ever met. I won't step a foot there even if they were doing nails for free.
