We purchased a used Yamaha C1 baby grand from Excel. The service from Gladys was excellent and the pricing was reasonable for the quality of the piano. The piano is perfect for our family and we are enjoying it everyday. We highly recommend Excel.

I recently got a guitar from Excel music store. Even though I was a beginner and had little knowledge regarding guitars, the staff (Benjamin) was very kind and helpful. He walked me through and taught me the various features of the instrument and helped me gain a overall better understanding of guitars! The price was also great and the quality of the guitar was amazing! 10/10 would recommend this store.

I came in recently to purchase a digital piano and the staff were an incredible help. Very friendly and informative, and able to recommend exactly the type of piano (and accessories) I was looking for within my budget.

Gladys and Benjamin are both very knowledgeable and most importantly very passionate about their products! They were very accommodating, offered reasonable prices and great customer service. I had an interesting experience. Earlier in the day I accidentally smacked my head against something and got concussed. While shopping, I almost passed out in the store. The staff got me water, something cold to put against my bump, and the manager got me medicine and wouldn't let me pay her back. Though I almost dropped to the floor like a sack of potatos, i had a very positive experience and will definitely be coming back for all my music needs:)

Recieved my Alvarez AF66CESHB a couple of days ago. This guitar is very high quality for the price. When I took it out of the box it was already nicely set up. The action was nice and low with no buzzing on any of the frets. I am very happy with Excel Music and would buy from them again

My recent experience has been very pleasant with this shop. I was very impressed by the collection of guitars and accessories that they have.

Gladys and Benjamin were so helpful and took their time to explain the details of different pianos. This was our first piano store we visited and we felt no need to go anywhere else. We checked out the pianos on Friday, fell in love with Yamaha YUS and went back on Sunday to buy it. We love the sound! I can play VERY basic guitar and decided to take some lessons. I have been taking lessons with Benjamin for a couple of months. In that time, I have seen a huge improvement in my strumming technique as well as my ability to efficiently change chords. In addition, we are looking at various genres and I know I will continue to improve over the next few months.

A great local music shop and school. I have been taking piano and guitar lessons for the last few months and I am very happy how accommodating the school is. The teachers are great, and I can see improvement in my technique even after such a short period of time. Additionally I got an amazing deal on an acoustic guitar during their Black Friday sale. Overall, they are a pleasure to deal with.

I'd highly recommend Excel Music if you are looking for a new instrument. The staff are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. While looking for a new guitar, Benjamin walked me through the pros and cons of various models and helped me to select the right one for my needs. He answered questions I had, demonstrated different playing styles (a plus for a beginner like myself who knows what they like, but can't quite play it yet), and offered suggestions and recommendations. I was in the store for well over an hour and never once felt pressured or rushed - it was clear to me that the goal at Excel Music was to help me find the right instrument, period. Couldn't ask for better customer service than that!

This music store has a great selection of pianos, guitars, and musical accessories. I purchased a new height adjustable piano bench - the price was fair and the staff helped explain all the features before leaving the store. For a blues/rock guitar player like myself there was plenty of selection between amps, guitars and equipment, for any price range. String, percussion and wind alike, there is something for any musician here despite being a relatively small shop. And if you’re interested in taking lessons, there are several clean and very quiet practice rooms, with modern furnishing and enough space for 2 to play comfortably. I’m really happy to have such a nice music store in my neighbourhood!

Myself and my daughter both purchased instruments from Excel. They were tremendously helpful in helping us pick the right equipment.

We were looking for a keyboard. Gladys and Benjamin were fantastic in explaining our options, the different models, listening to our needs, and providing us with an honest and transparent suggestion.
