Their foods are below average… their roast duck and crispy skin pork are always very greasy. I went there two time and both visits were vey disappointed. They charge tax but they only accept cash:) There are better BBQ stores if you are willing to drive for another 5km.
The food is excellent taste. Unfortunately, I did not get what I ordered since the half portion of the duck missing a big portion of the duck breast. Very disappointed and unhappy. Highly recommend not to buy from this place
Actually we’ve been a regular customer for a while and recommended it to a lot of our friends. But I definitely won’t come again due to today’s experience. Dine in there but waited for over 25 minutes for a fast food. It seems they don’t have an order and let people behind us get their take-out food first and we just kept waiting and waiting. When we asked, they apologized and said they forgot our order, but they still gave those take-out food first and later started preparing food for us. The worst dining experiences in Canada ever.
Bought a whole BBQ Duck! They took the breast meant & lined box with duck necks/heads! Rip off! Never go there! Ridiculous, the lady works there said we should watch the guy when he cut!
There are very few delicious yakiniku restaurants in Toronto. The food is absolutely delicious and the boss is very nice, but it’s better to arrive early as there are less seats.
Attention, be very careful when purchasing food here. The lady significantly overcharged me. I order 1/4 duck and a standard combo, got charged $35. I got charged an extra $10. The cashier is rather dishonest. Unfortunately I was careless and didn’t catch this error but based on others reviews, this restaurant seems to overcharge and shortchange guests. Really unfortunate, I am hoping others will learn and be more prepared.
First of all, I wish the boss a prosperous and prosperous family! The service attitude was very poor, and the barbecued pork was undercooked and fishy. I heard that someone recommended this store to him on some Little Red Book, so the boss asked him to do it. There are so many good barbecue restaurants in Toronto, I really don’t know which one to recommend.
How can I put it? I have eaten there many times and I thought the taste was okay. Even though their service is generally good, I will go there occasionally. But this time I bought the roasted pork for takeout. When I got home, I found that the roasted pork seemed to have not been sold out the day before. The roasted pork is re-roasted before being sold. The skin of the roasted pork is very thin and not crispy, and there is still a bit of bitterness after being roasted. When the boss cut the roasted pork for me, he did not take the one hanging in the cupboard, but took a piece that was already there. The cut on the pier board was given to me, but I didn't care. I didn't realize there was a problem until I got home to eat. Really speechless.
I have been having their roasted BBQ pork for years when they have another location at Metro square. 燒肉,叉燒,燒鴨樣樣都掂。If you are looking for "乳豬券" (gift voucher, mostly used for wedding) they used to sold that too, not use if they still do.
Food is tasty, but cashier Always give u less money back, not a lot from couple cent to dollar, i seen it many time with other customers too over charging and giving couple dollar less, they should be more honest
Bought a 白切雞 (White Cut Chicken) and while the chicken itself was excellent, I am 100% certain the cashier purposely charged an extra dollar, and charged me $26 + tax instead of $25 + tax for the chicken. While I really don't care about the $1.13, it is a moral issue and looking at the comments this shop regularly cheats its customers. Not a good way to do business.
Don't think I will come back again, good job losing a customer over $1.13.
As the picture shows, half duck contains more than half box of the neck and not eatable things. Small box rice is $3.15! I felt been robbed by those cheaters. Never go again. As shown in the picture, a box of half a duck contains more than half of the box of duck necks and inedible items. Small rice bowl $3.15. I feel like I was robbed by a bunch of shameless people, never go again!
I have been buying from them over 20 years. They are well known in our area. The roasted meat is average quality. Price is quite expensive. $50 for a roasted duck and $12.90 per pound the BBQ pork.
