Amazing service. Delicious food. Appreciate that they have some children's books and toys so that parents can enjoy their meal and entertain their kid (s).

Warm and friendly people. Very high tech restaurant as in your have to scan the menu and order online. The order will reach the kitchen staff and you will receive tout food. Pocket friendly and healthy food for family. Yumm Japanese food.
We ordered Chicken-Yaki and katsu Ramen and Rose tea which was so relaxing and refreshing.
We were 3 ppl and it costed around 54$

Best Ramen noddles I have ever had
I am definitely coming here again. Was so filling and flavourful. Just a great atmosphere too, peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Just the right setting for amazing noddles.

Went here with a friend for the first time, the service was great and the restaurant itself was clean and homely. As for the food, it was affordable and definitely worth more than the price. Some of the best noodles I've ever had! Perfect warm meel after being outside in the winter, and was very filling. I highly suggest the roast pork shoulder Ramen. We also ordered mochi and it was tasty as well. I definitely see myself returning in the future!

Just picked up some ramen for my sick kiddo and it’s a 10/10 for me. Price, flavour, quantity and quality are all exceptional. Compared to other ramen places in uptown Waterloo, nothing compares to Exclamation! Now if they would bring back their old menu from the DTK location…lol

Such a hidden gem on a quiet street, the food was so tasty, I have been going there for the Ramen & Dumplings, top-notch service with cozy atmosphere for dine in, if ya love playing piano, there is a Yamaha piano waiting for you to relax for a moment before meal, highly recommended.

Good ramen broth (we got the exclamation ramen). Tastes creamy.

The fried pork buns are very good. Hot though and filing. Service was very good.

Delicious place, I drive from Cambridge just to eat here, completely worth it, the okonomiyaki was perfect and the attention is the best.

A wonderful little place. Food was really good (got various ramens at our table.). Portions were a little smaller than other places, but price was lower so that works out just fine. Beautiful little shop with games and toys you can borrow.
Only complaint was good was very slow to arrive. They didn't seem busy, just took more time than average for an empty restaurant. As long as you're not in a rush, this place was great

Super friendly service, the owner was so nice. Atmosphere was nice with lots of natural light. Ramen was best part of meal by far. Forgot to take a picture but also got pan-fried bao and gyoza, which were okay given the price.

Sooooo mid idk why its rated so high. Gyozo is really bad, exclamation ramen is so mid, 3/5 is being kinda generous. Lady is really nice tho

It's a smaller place, as far as I could tell there was only about 2 people working so service time for food was a little long. But worth the wait, the food was great, the atmosphere while a little strange does have areas for children to be entertained which is a rarity. Price was extremely affordable, I got a full course, app, drink, main, and dessert and tip, for under $50. Very happy with my time there and I will be coming back. Only real con, there was someone playing piano who was playing rather loudly, but that was another customer not staff.

Great tea, solid prices & cute restaurant. The house ramen & vegetarian options were both solid; great soft boiled eggs.

The food was yummy and it was very cozy:) prepare for a tiny bit of a wait if you’re a party of 4+ but we didn’t fully mind since the ambience was great and the staff were very sweet and friendly

The best Chinese restaurant in this area, in my opinion. The restaurant is clean, the staff are nice, and the service is fast. I highly recommend the food here.

The ramen is great and the lady is super friendly! Plus, the dishes are all fairly affordable. My favourite is the suicide beef ramen; even though the name doesn’t suggest it, it’s actually the perfect level of spicy.

Food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is so unique and welcoming! It’s the service that will keep me coming back though, the waitress was so sweet and friendly! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Everything was super fresh, and so delicious. Our server was unbelievably friendly, her service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!

I have never finished a bowl of ramen (I usually get sick of the taste) and I have always been very picky with soup. But I had the Exclamation ramen and it was so incredibly good, I finished the whole bowl even though there was so much food it felt impossible. The lady who served us was so kind and happy that we were enjoying the food! I am excited to go back and try more dishes!

The ramen was very delicious and reasonably priced! We had jasmine sake and it was super fragrant and lovely. The waitress is amazing and was very welcoming and warm. The ambience is very pleasant, with artwork for sale on the walls and lots of decor.

Very good place to eat different types of ramen, at least the one I tried was quite tasty.

Decent but run of the mill Ramen.had to pay extra for the egg. I got the suicide ramen but it wasn't hot at all.a little disappointing

Great find as our usual ramen place is closed on Mondays.

The tonkatsu broth was delicious, enjoyed the okonomyaki (hard to find on menus!) and the service was lovely.

Solid food, nice staff but slightly expensive.

Tried the Yuzu chicken bento box. The chicken itself was moist and crispy underneathe a uniquely fruity sauce. The rest of the bento box was assorted fried items which got slightly repetitive.

Came to try and it was a good cozy experience kkkk. Shoutout to the waitress there who was extremely friendly and welcome with such a sweet voice. And Shoutout to the chef whoever make our dinner it was delicious! I wish they have more veggies in the ramen. Definitely come back to discover more about menu. Amazing authentic Japanese food! Their takoyaki brings back so many good memories. Definitely the best Japanese restaurant in town!

The ramen was so delicious! Their broth was very flavorful, and we added some hot chilis and hot sauce which paired very well. Ingredients seemed fresh. The dim sum appetizers were also great! The service was excellent - very happy, chipper, and hospitable. We live 2 hours away, but if we are back in Waterloo we will definitely be returning!

Best ramen in kitchener Waterloo by far presently this was held by a competitor but walking around town and trying small restaurants I highly recommend this place.

It’s way underrated, it has amazing attention to detail service and the food itself is almost too good for the local students.

I’ll drive here again and continue to recommend them as the #1 spot in town for ramen

Friendly staff and great food. The restaurant is beautiful and filled with art, plus a piano. I saw someone playing it once and it was just an amazing atmosphere. Jocelyn is also the best! I highly recommend the tofu Bento box and variety of teas. Also some exotic beer options worth trying. Good value and great date spot.

Absolutely a wonderful spot for Ramen and other dishes. Staffed with the kindest server. Both the GF and I had the Exclamation Ramen really nice broth and toppings. NOTE: egg not included but can be purchased as an extra. Also shared pork bao which was also delightful. Also note: free parking in the lot directly across the street after 16: 30 M to F and all day on weekend.

Love it here! Super cute resto and kind service. I got the Exclamation Ramen, it was sooo delicious and very affordable! Wine, sake, and apps all priced well too (avoiding the word cheap because I don't want to seem like I'm diminishing the quality of the food - it was absolutely delicious and great value for your money)!

Excellent! I found this restaurant by accident and am so glad I did! I ordered the Atlantic Cod Katsu Ramen and it was delicious. Everything was super clean and the food was really fresh. Staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome. Took a bit to cook but definitely worth it. This is my new favorite place to eat!

I got here for the comments and the rating. But it didn't meet my expectations for a 4.6 *. Ramen is ok but for once, dry japanese cheesecake, I needed to drink water to pass it through.

Great Service! I ordered the Chicken Gyoza and Okonomiyaki and they were delicious. The chicken gyoza were perfectly crunchy on the outside and savory on the inside. It was my first time trying Okonomiyaki and it did not disappoint, would definitely get it again! Thank you Exclamation! I hope to order from you again.

It’s very odd location, base of condo without many stores nearby. Prices quite reasonable!

Enjoyed some tasty ramen and a few appetizers today. The custard buns were crispy and awesome. Will be coming back to try more:)

They are always very friendly to me here. They have tasty ramen at a fairly good price. The food isn't top tier as many of the appetizers are store bought but I always enjoy the ramen. Unique atmosphere with games to play and a piano as well as cool art. I would highly recommend

I had ramen here, it was ok but at the same time I do have really high expectations for ramen. Restaurant is clean and service is good but food is not the greatest.

Service was excellent. However waiting time was too long. They told us around 15-20 minutes but instead, i waited around 40 minutes.

Had the baby ribs with their specialty exclamation ramen. Baby ribs were really good. Ramen was nice. Will Def come back and try the other appetizers. Price is very reasonable.

Great food, wonderful service, and very neat atmosphere. Seems to be a quiet place but doesn’t feel “dead” or “stale” at all. The exclamation ramen was great as were the golden custard buns.

Exclamation is one of the places in Waterloo that I love going to. I always look forward to their food but they have sooo much more to offer.
The ambience is just fabulous - there’s this feeling of serenity and elegance that’s unmatched.
Their tea is heavenly - recommend their Lavender tea - soo calming.
Even their tea cups are so thoughtful - I’ve added a picture of it - they are pretty unique - and your palm is protected from the heat due to the insulation in the cups.
The music is awesome - during Christmas season they had Disney instrumental music playing while a cute little Christmas tree with nice lights was making the whole restaurant feel pretty magical.
They have a full size piano that you can play, board games to have some fun with your friends.
The staff is soooo friendly.
Love their Unagi.

Very friendly stuff. The woman greeted us with a smile, very courteous, kind. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and we were very satisfied with our ramen.

Been here twice, and both times the food took around half an hour to arrive even though only 2 tables in the restaurant were filled. The prices seem affordable but the food comes out to be in pretty small portions. Personally, nothing I tried tasted good (katsu, takoyaki, bento set, ramen) ; they either tasted like re-heated frozen store-bought or just poorly cooked dishes. Most things generally tasted too salty. Even the seaweed salad was bad.how do you mess up seaweed salad? The service was really nice and friendly though.

Delicious ramen! I love the dim sum options. Siu man and har gow were good. The bento box was good but not much meat.

I absolutely love their ramen here! I have always ordered online but this time I went in and I was not disappointed! The staff is amazing and so friendly, they make sure you are taken care of. The place is super clean and really cool looking inside and their food just tops it all off! Chicken Katsu Ramen all the way!
