Exotic Wings & Pet Things Inc. (In Store Shopping By Appointment Only)

I've been coming here for awhile and have purchased three different birds from Exotic Wings. They are knowledgeable and have a great selections of birds and bird products. Their pricing and selection are also both way better than any of the chain pet stores. I also appreciate the requirement of an appointment to purchase a bird. It deters impulsive purchases.

Very disappointed! Our African Grey went in through their box into their shop, while we waited outside. All we heard were screams from inside. Came out stressed, in shock and confused. Bleeding in nails also. The groomer blamed how long we waited to cut nails. He’s a baby little over one year old. We don’t care that $17 was the price. Charge more but treat the bird well. See attached pics. Let’s hope the shock is temporary and our kids are also very upset.

My Dad and I took our Quaker Parrot and Goffin Cockatoo to get grooming services done! I was so impressed with our overall experience! Lisa was so welcoming and especially kind and helpful in assisting us with answering our questions and recommending products that would be good for the parrots! She even assisted in helping carry the heavier parrot and food to our vehicle! It’s so great to see the kindness in people when everything in this world is uncertain! Good job Lisa!

We had to learn the hard way. Don't disregard the negative reviews as there is plenty for a reason, it's not just coincidence. The worst decision we made is not to heed the warnings from the copious amount of people who took time to write honest, critical reviews of what had gone wrong with their interactions involving the owners and store.
Upon returning our bird, whom we trained and cared for, the owner sold him and received hundreds. Upon a length of time passing we contacted her due to not receiving any communication. When inquiring whether it was sold, she advised we stated we didn't want any return from our investment in the bird; this! Although we paid hundreds ourselves in the beginning to purchase it.
The point is we paid, we trained, we fed, we cared for it. She then ensured she was paid a second time for the same bird, refusing to allow us to recover any proceeds from that sale to cover some of the cost of our original purchase let alone the training and caring for it for a year, citing the fact she had to feed and 'train' the bird herself; which is an outright lie as it was trained by us.
Heed the WARNINGS, things may go smoothly at first but have some foresight cause your decision to deal with this store may come back to bite you in the end. 25+ years of experience! No amount of time matters if you don't treat your customers appropriately. Shame on you, you have to look at yourself in the mirror at the end of the day.

You can truly trust full hearted your pets for grooming. I love how my two conures nails and wings clipped with care! Highly recommended!

We picked up an order and realized when we got home that there was an error. Upon contacting the store, they made arrangements to deliver the item we ordered and pickup the one given us by mistake the same day. We are very impressed with their customer service.
