I came from Hamilton looking for a job, they found me one before I could even finish blinking. The building was a little bit confusing but everything else was completely covered. I worked with Laura and I have no complaints just nice things to say, she’s always been there to answer was always on top of making sure everything was right and taken care of. This was my first time ever hearing about express employment but I am very pleased I went to them. I am placed at a job now but if I were to ever need help finding out again I would go straight back to them, without any hesitation.

Interviewed for an “Office Admin” position, which after the “interview”, it became very apparent no position existed and the posting on indeed was merely a ploy to get people in the door. No questions were asked regarding my experience, weaknesses, strengths, references et al, and then had paperwork pushed in front of me to sign.

After the meeting, my inbox became inundated with emails regarding positions in factories, and well out of my preferred range. Was simply brought in in an attempt to be added to the pool.
Do not go through them!

I worked multiple shifts and got paid for two. Supervisor insisted on filling out the time card himself and I was shorted on my pay. When I asked about it express said “it is what it is”

Complete waste of my time. They refused to work with my disability, then fired me because of that disability. Laura Ward (their office manager) is a liar and is extremely manipulative. She will twist your words around to fit her own personal agenda. She will even go so far as to lead you to believe one thing, then have you find out later that you were incorrectly informed. If I had known that the placement they wanted to put me in would involve having my option to leave taken away from me some 100+ kms from home, or that I would be expected to do 11 hour shifts, I *NEVER* would have accepted the job. I was first told that I would work Monday - Friday 8 - 5. Then, I got asked if I could come in for 6: 30 AM instead, but was not told that the end of the shift wouldn't change. I wasn't told this until AFTER I accepted the job. When I found out and opted to back out, they fired me. Instead of working with my disability, Laura has been extremely difficult at every step of the way with working with my disability. The owners have been made aware of this, but yet it keeps happening. This is a human rights violation, and you can be real sure that I will be taking legal action over this. This is at least the second time now where Laura has been too inconvenienced by having to work with a disability, and this isn't going to stop any time soon. So. Don't waste your time with this terrible and incredibly unprofessional place. Also know that it takes 8 WEEKS to get direct deposit setup. If you have a disability, you can be sure that they will do everything in their power to ignore your disability, then later fire you because of a combination of a disability and their own stupidity in not being clear with their workers. I seriously regret ever having stepped foot into their office. All they have done is make me incredibly angry, waste my time, and violate my human rights by discriminating against a disability. STAY AWAY! It's just not worth the agony and the pitiful excuse for a branch manager. This, of course, doesn't even begin to get into other issues I have had like the countless jobs they said they have submitted me for, not one of which ever got back to them allegedly, making me firmly believe that the applications they say they have been putting in are but a mere lie to try to make themselves look good. None of their clients ever get back to them about an application they have submitted? I'm sorry, but I firmly believe that Laura never submitted any such applications. She lies, and lies, and lies, and then twists your words around on you, and wonders why you got so angry. I can't wait to see what the media will do with this once I file the human rights lawsuit to fight back against Laura's lies and unwillingness to work with a disability, or the fact that weeks after having finished and having been paid for a job, suddenly having some of that money taken back from you on future pay stubs. That by the way is ILLEGAL according to my lawyer.
