Extendicare Bayview

The staff is very uncooperative. Specially the nurse are so rude and behaviour is very unprofessional. I didn’t liked this place.

The best - so happy to have my Dad there. Excellent staff and nice setting. People do not realize how difficult it is to care for the elderly. Please ignore the whiners on "reviews". Likely the people who visit rarely. I do often and I know we (and your parents) are lucky to have such care. Could not do it on my own.

Stay away from this place.if you love Your loved ones.this place with send then to an early grave

My mom have been here for just over a year. She gained weight and is well. Although not new, we find the facility clean and tidy. The teams that we met are helpful and caring.

My grandmother was here for just under two years. They lost most of her clothes, bed sheets, and underwear. Every time I visited her she had new scrapes and bruises that she couldn’t explain due to her dementia. After we transferred her elsewhere, the staff accused us of stealing furniture when it was actually my grandmothers that we brought for her. They put her in a wheel chair without our permission when she was more than capable of walking with her walker. They lost her dentures as well as her eye glasses and we had to pay out of pocket to replace them. Christmas cards that I mailed to her in December were found sealed in her dresser in the middle of June. Major hygiene issues in here as well as neglect and attitude problems from the staff. This place is absolutely terrible. Even one star is rating them too high.

Very clean, staff are kind but a bit short staffed, facility is a bit dated but care overall is quite good.

I had to report this place to Ontario Ministry of LTC because seniors are abused and neglected here
