Terrible place to work. Employees of all different races are treated poorly. I have been at the company for a year. Now I have been suspended with no warning. Very poor training. I reported bullying last year and have been treated poorly since.

Worked in stamping department for 1 year on weekends. Supervisor thinks he can say anything to Indian people & they do discrimination. He likes to do mouth buttering with his operators in front of other employees. No person from HR & safety department cares about your complaint.
They have no respect for their workers.

Stay away, never come here. Management only looks out for themselves. Employees are underpaid and under appreciated. It's been years since I've seen my manager come down to the floor and ingage in conversation with anyone on a personal level. Stay away

I think that management needs to to give Dave some help, the average steel unloading time is over an hour or more

It’s a place where if you sleep with your boss you don’t have to work hard and you get special treatment over others on your line.
The team lead in my area was unprofessional and down right rude.

First and foremost there is no one can guide a temporary worker about his / her work for the first day.

If I could give negative stars I would this place let's supervisors threaten employees, spread confidential information about employees to the outside, most upper managements money goes up their nose, I won't lie when I first started it was fine but I spent a year and things just kept getting worse.

DO NOT WORK HERE!
Someone died working in this factory in 2017 because the workers do not follow safety protocols. I worked here for 4 days and left halfway through the fourth shift. I received absolutely no training, and was bullied and harassed in the job. Coworkers will yell at you and berate you instead of training you like they should. They have absolutely no regard for your personal safety, and I even had a coworker deliberately endanger my safety while on the job.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The work environment is extremely toxic and unsafe.

I have been hired in an admin role about a few months ago. This place uses very outdated systems which is not common in today's manufacturing industry. With previous working experience in in leading tools like SAP, Outlook, etc, I had a serious tough time to cope up working with their dated tools and unfriendly co-workers not willing to help. My experience working here felt like walking backwards with no promise to prosper in the role. Passing one day at work appeared like a month and after spending a brief period struggle and stress, my employment was terminated. After this incident I found a relevant position with another employer where I have been successfully working for a considerable period till date.

I also found the work culture here is not very desirable too. Less flexibility that includes mandatory uniforms even for admin role, fixed lunch time everyday, punch in-out hassles, etc. One positive here is a cafeteria that offers food at affordable price at about 5 minutes walk one-way from workstation during the 15 minutes break.

I happened to speak to a friend lately who I worked along in this place and found out that person has also quit too. This person mentioned that the annual pay revision here is well below average compared to other employers in Ontario. I only found one Tim Hortons, RBC, one gas station in Tottenham all quite far to reach and get back to work during lunch. My recommendation is if you can find a better job elsewhere, do not join here.

I think May 11th is way to early to go back to work. We are all way too close together there. Especially in the lunchroom and standing in line to punch out. Too early!

I moved to Tottenham in 2018 and got a job there as a tool and die maker, it lasted for a year and a half but I finally went back to old job in Vaughan.
I'm a certified Red Seal precision Tool and Die Maker but was considered second class to their majority of inhouse hand tools technicians.
I'll try again in a few years, hopefully they'll get caught up with technology.

I thinks it's a good place to work. Plenty of opportunities for advancement if you're willing to make an effort. I have seen many co op students return to be technicians. I have seen regular associates make their way to Supervisor or technicians as well. Like I said if you want to make an effort the opportunity is there.
The work here is what you make of it, fairly easy and a little repetitive. The people you work with are what help you get though the day. I might just be lucky but I've always worked with some great people here no matter where I was working. Made a few life long friendships along the way.

I work here all the employees are great to work with. It's a fast pace environment but I love my job.

Been there many years. Can't complain. Could always be better but anywhere in the factory world you're going to have issues.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years. Delivering steel coils for Honda. There have been many expansions in that time. The company is most definitely growing and can attribute their success to the upward move. Wonderful plant.

I worked here for almost 6 years. When I first started things weren’t too bad. The hiring took years back then. But now, based on minimum wage going up, the wages are not comparable to what they used to be.

They start off people as temporary employees, but honestly, you are better off staying a temp because there is no real benefits to getting hired anymore. You get hired now and the wage is the same as when you were a temp and you may have to wait for a year or longer to get the benefits package. Which again was much better when I first started as opposed to now.

I recently left because there was no incentive to stay anymore. There is so much favouritism and so much drama that’s it’s not worth it if your not a favourite. Management is not neutral. And the older people who have been there for years do not treat newer people with as much respect as deserved.

They have so many things to fix there that I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to work there ever.
