The lighting in here is horrible which matters because I thought I was buying a soft black fabric and got home and realized it was navy. Also, they are winging pricing at the register and I know I was overcharged but I just wanted to get on with my day and paid it.

No service, unreachable, no one replies to emails, messages or pick up the phone. Terrible Service I do not recommend.

I would only recommend this place if you don’t need any help. God forbid you have a question or need some assistance - they will roll their eyes and mumble something at you. I was looking for a specific fabric but in this huge warehouse I couldn’t find it. I ended up walking out rather than ask again and get another ride response

The hugest selection in fabrics, the kindest, most patient and helpful staff. The best in quality, service and price! A true Toronto gem! Merciiii

I found this amazing store today! I was so excited I found what I was looking for. I couldn’t look at all the amazing fabric or I would break the bank. I will definitely be back soon! Prices are cheaper than other fabric stores too! WOW!

Huge. Diverse. Best ask staff where to find things as there is sooooooo much. Fair prices. Helpful staff.

Definitely NOT my favourite store in Toronto. Hard to see or find what you need and good luck finding someone to help you. Pricing is arbitrary, seems to depend on who you talk to / what mood they are in / how much money they think you have.

Love Fabric Fabric. Have reorganized the store recently and it looks great. I moved to the area because Fabric Fabric is nearby.

I visited for the first time today. I'm upholstering a bed and had no idea what I was doing when looking for the fabric, foam and batting but they helped out so much with figuring out how much of everything that I would need. The warehouse has practically any fabric you could think of, so I look forward to going back for future projects.

Helpful, friendly staff. Great prices. They also carry foam, cut to whatever size, and do custom upholstery.

As a fashion student, it was very difficult to find a fabric store that has a reasonable price. Most of the stores we were offered by our professors were located in downtown, which had low fabric quality, low variety, and high prices. During Corona, I found Fabric Fabric due to the fact that most of the fabric store were closed. It is a magical place. Ethical and kind staff, a diverse collection of fabrics and reasonable prices. The owner of this shop is a very kind Iranian woman who helps you a lot in finding the fabric you need. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a good service and reasonably priced fabrics.

After spending close to $200 and over 200 hours on a quilt, I can see that the flannel fabric they CLAIMED to be 100% cotton is not. After a couple washes, it is pilling pretty badly, which means it must be a polyester blend. I did not spend that much time on something that is going to pill up. I made very sure to buy only 100% cotton, but little did I know they were not being honest about that. I will never buy from here again.

I purchased the Blackout Off White 118" and I’m very disappointed because it doesn’t work properly. A blackout should block the light, but this fabric even when I fold in half the light still passes trough the fabric. To block the light, I need to fold in 4, which would be too expensive. I asked for a refund but the store didn’t accept it.

Amazing customer service. I ordered a lot of specialty fabric and a person from fabric fabric called to make sure I would be okay with delivery times. They told me to call back to check-in at the end of February, which I did and they gave me a concrete answer for delivery (Again, friendly and helpful on the phone). The quality of the fabric is fantastic! I was able to make my custom cushion for a reading nook and some baby outfits. Thank you for the speedy responses fabric fabric!

Always friendly, excellent customer service! I often bring a flashlight to help in some of the dimmer corners (there's so much stock!), And sometimes it's a bit dusty, depending on where you're pulling from, but this is my go-to store. You can also buy pillowforms and foam here, not just fabric, and they offer in-house upholstery services, too.

Amazing store with great selection, good prices and gracious staff. I bought a quality upholstery fabric in the happiest colour! My couch came out amazing:)

OMG they are so good there. They have just about everything you could need. They had everything I needed.

Overall good experience. They had sent me the wrong item at first, after which I contacted customer service. It took 4 days to get through to them (their email inbox is full so that didn't work, the messaging system on the order page doesn't work, but the little blue paper airplane works at the bottom left of the page). The owner was pleasant to speak to and she quickly corrected the mistake and sent me the correct fabric promptly.
The fabric on the website looked quite different from what was received. (the first pic is what was on the website, the second is what was delivered). When speaking to the owner, I mentioned that I wanted the grey plaid fabric, but the owner did mention to me that the fabric was brown and not grey. I took this to mean that it was a beige or light brown, and not too different from the picture on the website. I was quite surprised when I received a dark chocolate brown fabric. Not a huge deal since the project will be for myself, but I would not recommend for more specific projects or gifts.

We just got fabric to reupholster our couch from here and yeah it was cheap. I could spend weeks choosing stuff there.

It's fabric heaven. They sell cushions and refurbish old sofas. What they lack is good quality thread. Otherwise it's quite a fabulous trip into sewing project ts, indian saris, velvet, leather, buttons and a million other notions.

Great place for all the fabric of every kind you could ever need for any project. Helpful staff and great service. A hidden gem. A wonderful place to get lost in!

Big, bright new lights! I've always loved this place but now that they've got new lights, its 100x better.

Large selection for better prices and pricings could also be discounted depending on fabric/ amounts of left. Employees there are nice:)

Great prices however most fabrics don’t have fibre content information. I sew clothes for sale and need fibre content information. Disappointed. Not planning to come back unless they make changes.

Fabric Fabric’s upholstery team made us this beautiful custom banquette! The navy fabric (a high quality vinyl) was purchased there and the stripped fabric we purchased at Maison Basque. The craftsmanship and quality of the work they did was excellent and at a very good price! Thank you so much!

That place is a mess it makes no sense the price are so high for a warehouse an basement environment I drive from oshawa thinking it was worth it but it was overstocked with fabric but nothing wasted a drive

This place is great. Sure, it's hard to navigate if you're looking for something specific, but the prices can't be beat. Give yourself a little time to browse and you'll find something great.

What an amazing fabric store! The selection isn't matched by anywhere I've ever been, and neither are the prices! I couldn't believe how affordable this place is. And the staff? Second to none. Such friendly people, so helpful. I'm done dealing with the corporate oversight of Fabricland etc, Fabric Fabric is where it's at. Highly recommend.

Wow, huge warehouse full of different types of fabric, downside is the lighting, can't really see details in the material unless you have a flashlight. Definitely a place in the west end you should check out if your looking for material, it's hidden underneath a bridge. I'm not trolling.

Probably the best fabric store in the city. So nice and helpful, they have everything and the prices are amazing!

I went in today and it wreaked of cigarettes. I asked one of the very nice ladies on staff if someone was smoking and she told me it's the boss who smokes indoors, so she cannot say anything. This isn't right. I am never coming back here. Shame, as the selection was impressive but I don't want to buy fabric exposed to cigarette smoke.
