Fabricland - Home Decor Centre

This fabric land location on mccowan road has a manager who is rude and even the saff are rude. They make their own law in there. Sometimes they are just standing talking they wknt even ask if you need help. If there is a roll of fabric which is almost finished and 10 cm is left, you still has to pay for it. Here we are paying for our membership and its nit everyday we are using it. I remember when one lady told the store manager if she can have the little piece for free the response she gave the customer was very unprofessional.

The ladies who work at this particular Fabricland are quite knowledgeable and are eager to help you with whatever project you have on the go!

Fabricland and Home Furnishing Centre is a very unique shop with a variety of fabric materials, suitable for those who are interested in doing it yourself, decorating home curtains, sofa covers or making fashion, etc. There are also clothes and a variety of The accessories are also very complete. The surprise is that the price of the fabric is more than $3-10 per meter. I bought 4 meters and planned to make a set of sofa covers, which was only $12. The staff are very kind and friendly, and they take the initiative to help cut the fabric. If you have a hobby in this area, don't miss it!

I was there today and had a very bad issue due to the fact that I was wearing a clear mask with my elderly mom who is unable to get in the door because she uses a walker. As we were leaving because I was not allowed to shop with her we witnessed a man coming in not wearing his masks over the appropriate areas and nothing said to him. The mask I was wearing have was created by a Markham doctor and have never had an issue for the last 18 months since masks were mandatory. All the note on the door stated is that you had to have a face covering which it is. You lost a big sale due to the staff working there today.

I wish they have more selection of fabric like downtown queens street.but I love their odds and ends section, sometimes you can find good deal from there.

Very old store but always have what you are looking for. I bought office desk clear cover. It was very expensive but needed it.

Amazing staff unfortunately the quality of fabrics has declined and the prices have increases! If your a quilter go to your local quilt store where the quality is amazing and better price’s!

Pretty big compared to other fabriclands I've been to in the city. Staff were nice and helpful.

Lots of cloth selection and accessories. Thread choices and accessories are right by the door. Cloth rolls are at the back.

It's often hard to find what I like. Fabrics are mostly low quality but the price is reasonable if that's what you're looking for.

Asked three different store associates where I could find what I needed and they roughly pointed to an area in the store. I left after 20 minutes of looking without being able to find what I came to buy.

Wide selection of fabric for costuming, quilting, crafting, making your own clothes. There are always sales on fabric so if you're not in a rush wait for a sale/coupon (sign up for their newsletter online). Most of their staff are helpful and give you good advise on your project.

I phoned to locate some last minute items a few days before Christmas and Stephen, Manager of Customer Experience, gave great customer service. Stephen did not depend on the computer to determine if the items were in the store, went right to the department to ensure Walmart had what I wanted. Then he put them aside in customer service for me. Polite, professional and efficient. Excellence in customer service helps makes pre-Christmas shopping less stressful, and much more enjoyable:)

This is a one stop shop for all your sewing needs! This store is very large and open, with two levels. Upstairs Selvie was very helpful to me and my son. She took time and explained everything in a way I can understand. Downstairs, Jordie was the other employee that was helpful as well. She was able to help us with our trims, very kind and courteous.

I came into fabric land 2-3 hours ago, I didn’t get her name but this lady at the front desk with short black hair & glasses is very helpful and friendly, did a exceptional job I wish I had extra dollars to tip her cause she deserved it. Will come back Ofcourse:)

Very inconvenient and very expensive.
They sell membership, then they put inconvenience and unreasonable rules for using the card.
Their prices are redicusly high, then they give discount to members IF you carry the card! They don't even except the card number or picture of it, you must have the card! Very inconvenient.

Staff are very rude and unhelpful, prices are also ridiculous for fabric, they need to close down soon
