Fairbank Memorial Park

Has been under construction for a longtime. Keep your kids away from this park as it can be very dusty from construction and who knows what' else is lingering from all the work and machinery around. Also I am pretty sure the large puddles around the playground is raw sewage.

Sad to see the construction eating up the natural environment here. That said, this outdoor pool is one I enjoy, because it has more trees and grass around it. I also think the pool is spread out nicely for kids and adults.

As noted in other reviews, Fairbanks park is now dominated by a large construction project in the middle (city drainage upgrade) - there is a baseball diamond on the south side and a kid play area to the north of the construction area that are still open/functioning.
So there is no open field or typical 'park area' per say, and construction is slated to be there until 2025. I went with 2 dogs, and as the baseball diamond is fenced off with prominent 'no dogs' signs there was no real area for the dogs to play/run. So Fairbanks might be considered, for the time being, a fenced in baseball diamond (south end) and a separate kid's play area (north end) parkette, & not a city 'park' proper due to the very large construction project in the middle.
Too bad, but it is clearly a very serious drain water upgrade (ie preventing house flooding during storms) that the city is undertaking here.

City destroyed the park, first started with the senior center No one uses and is just pirvate storage for the city. Than they tried to kick all the dog owners out of the baseball diamond.was once a beautiful park for the whole community. No more soccer field after the stormtanks are done.

The main field has now been closed off for construction for the next 5 years. Kids play area and field are still accessible.

Small park with new children's playground. You see quite a few people with their dogs. There is lighting, but not quite enough to feel safe walking through after dark

Went there in the morning to kill time before my appointment. So very peaceful and relaxing. Lots of big trees.

One of my favourite parks in the city! Lots of room to sit, a baseball diamond, and great walking paths!

Well i graduated from fairbank middle school back in 1994 and i have amazing memories. So happy i live back in this area?

Great park, the lights did turn on automatically and dealing with it was a bummer, however give us the opportunity to visit the Portuguese bakery in the south corner.love it

Great place playground was very fun and clean surprising the paint didn't wear of the grass there is very green and there is basically no dead grass which was nice them they have a little gated area with a baseball court with huts and all then outside of the gated area there were benches for people to sit so I am guessing some people play baseball there for an audience very fun and nice there.

On the day of registration Wednesday March 11 for the summer programs, they had placed an announcement outside the Center that they started at 7 am and when we went very early to find a place to register my daughter for the programs when they opened at 7 o'clock told us that it was until 11 am and my question is because they put a schedule outside and when one goes it is another and it does not seem right to me, if in the other community centers the registrations are also at 7am and in this not then put 11 am and 7 am. Next time set the correct time.

Nice big park but I wish it had a fenced in, leash-free area for dogs, especially since it is so close to Dufferin

Consistently nice softball field. Clean, level. Love the homerun fence (even if I never will get there). My only complaint is that the dugout is small.

Good park to spend time for people who love to go for a dive please don't forget to go to bakery just be sided.

Nice ballpark in central Toronto. Dos Minos Portuguese bakery is right across the street, provides some great post-game snack options. Field is well-maintained and well-lit, outfield fence allows some separation between game and others using the park. Two separate parking areas, never had to look for street parking.

Its beautiful, calm relaxing, it makes me so happy to live in such a beautiful city, growing up in the Toronto area somewhere along the line, i just took everything for granted.

Pottery class at this community centre is amazing. Getting to do something new and meet new people. I highly recommend this community centre.

Great park in the heart of the city. Many activities offered here along with the various fields for different sports.
